We have been coming to Maykels regularly for many, many years. The food was always good, it used to be more of a study bar, now it's a restaurant that definitely doesn't have to hide. In all my years (20+) I have never had an unfriendly situation. We Love Maykels ❤️

Top food, best service and a nice, cozy atmosphere. I always enjoy coming here to eat. The location is particularly beautiful with a view of the countryside and the town of Schmalkalden. In summer you can sit outside great.

I've read a lot of negative reviews here, but I can't confirm them yet. I can't say anything about the delivery quality as I always enjoy my food on site. The ambience is exactly what you would expect from such a diner - not a gourmet restaurant, but clean and tidy. The team is always friendly towards me and the food is served quickly. I feel comfortable here. My favorite is the Dürüm: the dough is always fresh, the vegetables look attractive, and since the beginning of 2025 there has been even better meat. I'd love to come back! :)

Hello, I got some ice cream from you on April 13th, 2025, on the one hand it was only half full and on the other hand it was completely melted. We'd better not talk about looks. Unfortunately just disappointing.
