Istanbul in Schmalkalden

For the second time in a row, extreme stomach/intestinal discomfort after consumption.

The best burgers in SM Unfortunately, that's a thing of the past. I was there yesterday and ordered a chicken burger and a doner kebab, both without tomatoes. When I got home, I saw that both had tomatoes, but no cheese on the burger. What the heck? The doner kebab was so small and only moderately filled that I would have needed three to fill it up. Also, an older colleague of the owner was smoking his cigarettes inside while the food was being prepared. Hence the diarrhea? Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend it; yesterday was too much.

Tested for the first time and pleasantly surprised

The most disgusting thing I've ever eaten. The kebab was dry and had very little sauce. The salad was also dry. I wouldn't recommend it.

Tasty, fast and friendly, seating needs to be replaced 😅 Location - perfect for the kebab as you drive past!

The kebab and the burgers are very good quality and tasty. The prices are completely okay. The ambience is classic snack bar and clean.

It was our first time picking something up there. Had pasta dishes, pizza, schnitzel, kebab plates, burgers, a bit of everything except kebab. People were very nice. Dishes were made quickly. Fresh ingredients, what you can taste. Food was warm and tasty. The garlic sauce was especially amazing! Despite the small snack bar, there was everything you would find in a larger store. Would love to come back. Update: Bought two kebabs and a pizza from you today! Everything the same! Extremely satisfied! Best kebab in the district!

Very good food but the place is very near to the street and has no much place to seat. Recommend taking to go or order from home maybe.

Very good, tasty kebab with crispy bread, a good amount of salad and vegetables and high-quality meat. For 6.5 the price is really okay and there is no reason to complain. The employees are also very friendly and have issued a card for and adjacent cigarette machines. All in all a good cheap kebab shop.

Fries were too oily & when I bought the kebab I thought there was rotten meat in it, I almost gagged and ideally even less sauce so you'd suffocate, that was the last time & I could have burned the money for €35!

Small, inconspicuous shop that you shouldn't underestimate and eat there at least once.

Rigatoni bestellt, Spaghetti bekommen. Geschmacklich leider nicht unser Fall.

Sehr freundlich und eine gute Portion zu einem vernünftigen Preis. Da es lediglich ein kleiner Imbiss ist nur drei Sterne für das Ambiente. Die Speisekarte müsste mal aktualisiert werden da die Preise nicht mehr stimmen. Ansonsten ein schöner Imbiss wo ich gern wieder was zu essen hole.

Eine Dönerschmiede in Schmalkalden gelegen. Parkplätze gibt's reichlich. Es gibt neben den üblichen türkischen Spezialitäten auch Burger. Die Mitarbeiter vor Ort sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich hatte einen XL Döner. Der war wirklich sehr lecker Vor Ort ist es sauber.

Die Gerichte sind schmackhaft aber finde zur anderen Dönerläden die Portion etwas zu klein.

Die Burger besser als beim Restaurant mit der gelben Möve 😏

Erst haben sich 3 man vorgedrängelt und dann eine halb rohe Dönnerrolle bekommen

Ein wirklich adäquatest Restaurant wie man es in dieser Gegend kaum findet. Ein Außergewöhnlich freundliches Personal was sein Handwerk mehr als nur versteht, knackig frische Spezialitäten die vor den Augen zubereitet werden. Ein rundum Service der kaum zu wünschen übrig lässt.

War eine freundliche Bedingung und hat auch lecker geschmeckt.

Immer wieder gern .schmeckt echt super . Kommt immer gut auf der Durchfahrt bei ein kleinen Hunger...weiter so ...

Muss echt sagen bist der beste Döner in Sm. Bin fast heim gerannt um ihn noch warm zu genießen und habe es geschafft. War echt wieder mal 👍

Sehr individuellen Dönerteller gegessen und der Chef selbst hat noch einen schönen Tee zubereitet für uns. Sehr empfehlenswert. Für den Imbiss sind 5 Sterne angemessen.
