Salvatore's Pizza & Pasta in Schmalkalden

Excellent pizza, on par with the pizzas you can taste in Italy, current location needs improvement, but according to the owner Salvatore he is waiting to move to the new location much larger. We are eager to test it again in a more welcoming environment. Salotti e baci from Treviso.

At first glance, everything seems worn out and reminds one more of a kiosk...but the pizzas from the stone oven were very tasty and the chef was a sociable person with good entertainment value...perfect for a quick snack and we wish Pepe all the best in the new location

Very nice Italian restaurant in Schmalkalden. I ate here for the first time since the ownership changed and was very surprised. I found the pizza with thin dough and nice pizza sauce very tasty. I also really enjoyed the spaghetti, but the cheese wasn't my cup of tea as it was unfortunately a bit flattened by the packaging. Ambience is also quite ok, a bit loud and hot due to the open space, but ok since it is only a very small building. People there are all very nice and friendly. All in all, very nice and good that this restaurant is being preserved in Schmalkalden.

The pizzas were super tasty, plenty of toppings and the service was very nice. It's a small bistro and you could do a lot of upgrading with a small amount of money. What didn't work at all were the toilets, the urinal was poorly locked and there wasn't even a toilet seat in the toilet, I'd rather not talk about the cleanliness.

It used to be good, years ago. Now opening hours are posted on the door, posted on the internet, and when you're there, it's closed. But it's not there, the door is closed. Happened a total of 3 times in the last few days.

Pizza was very tasty. The noodles are also very tasty. Preparation went very quickly even though there were a lot of people there. Ingredients were fresh.

My wife and I are waiting there right now. From the outside the pizzeria is inconspicuous, but when you enter there is a nice, not overloaded, Italian atmosphere. The service, I think from the owner himself, is absolutely nice. There is a moderate selection of drinks. And now: the salad is delicious, top olive oil, super fresh produce. The pizza is baked in a stone made with real beech wood. You can tell by the taste. We have rarely eaten such delicious pizza, thank you. Then we took one with us too.

Pizzas are good, staff friendly, atmosphere unfortunately just that of a fast food restaurant

The ambience is not really nice, especially indoors. But once you eat a pizza like this it becomes irrelevant, simply the best pizza in Schmalkalden, incomparable to all the doner/kebab stalls.

Best pizza and pasta in the whole area!

Certainly not the prettiest pizzeria, but the service and the good pizza make up for it. We were surprised at how quickly it was prepared. The price is quite cheap.

War gut aber , das Ambiente muss man unbedenklich ändern. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen kam schnell und war preislich in Ordnung.

Hier handelt es sich um einen "Imbiss" mit 3 Tischen, also 12 Sitzplätzen. Es läuft italienische Musik im Hintergrund, was nicht aufdringlich ist. Die Pizza war schnell und frisch zubereitet. Sie war gut belegt. Geschmacklich hat sie uns auch gut geschmeckt. Wenn wir nicht 70 Kilometer entfernt wohnen würden, wären wir öfters hier. Das Preis / Leistungsverhältnis passt super. Eine Cola 0,3l kostet "nur" 2 Euro. Die Pizzen im Schnitt zwischen 8 und 11 Euro. 👌🏼

Wir bestellen immer wieder mal dort unser Essen. Die Pizzen wie auch Nudelgerichte sind sehr lecker und definitiv zu empfehlen. In der warmen Jahreszeit kann man im Außenbereich schön verweilen.

Leider einer der schlechteren Italienischen Pizzen die ich bisher gegessen habe. Labbriger Teig, günstiger Belag. Das muss besser gehen in einem Holzofen, verschenktes Potential.

Tanto las pizzas, como la pasta y las ensaladas están muy buenas. Calidad/precio inmejorable, aparte de un buen servicio por parte del personal.

Pizza buonissima, ingredienti buoni, FORNO A LEGNA e personale gentilissimo! Una cena piacevole a costo molto basso!

Man sollte vorab wissen, dass Salvatore's Pizza kein Restaurant sondern lediglich ein Bistro ist, in dem die Tische sehr eng gestellt sind. Wir wir waren aufgrund der sehr guten Bewertungen in Salvatore's Pizza und dachten es sei ein Restaurant. Da wir im Hotel übernachtet haben, haben wir uns trotz der Enge entschieden zu bleiben und vor Ort zu essen. Ich musste aber so sitzen, dass, wenn jemand auf die Toilette wollte ich im Platz machen musste. In einem Bistro sind jedoch allgemein nicht viele Gäste, so dass es nur einmal vorgekommen ist. Die Bedienung und gleichzeitig Koch/Pizzabäcker (Salvatore?) war sehr freundlich und sympathisch. Er hat jedoch nicht gesehen, dass unser Tisch nach den Vorgästen nicht gewischt war, ich musste ihn erst darauf hinweisen. Dafür kamen die vier bestellten Pizzen ruckzuck, sahen sehr gut aus und waren auch geschmacklich tadellos. Drei von uns waren der Meinung, dass der Teig noch etwas knuspriger hätte sein können.

Immer leckere Pizza! Kann man nur empfehlen! :)

Die Pizza und Nudelgerichte schmecken sehr lecker, es gibt genug sitzplätze innen so wie außen. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Das beste ist der originale Steinofen mit reiner Holzfeuerung wo die Pizzen und einige Nudelgerichte gebacken werden. So was sieht man nur noch selten. Einen kleinen abzug gibt es bei den Toiletten, dort könnte es etwas besser sein. Ansonsten ein Besuch der sich wirklich lohnt.

Gute Pizza zum guten Preis! Man kann drinnen und draußen sitzen. Bedingungen sind freundlich.

eigentlich nur ein Pizza Imbiss aber diese ist unbeschreiblich lecker und knusprig. Der Boden ist echt non plus ultra und den Belag kann man sich nach Geschmack aussuchen

Immer hohe qualität - immer heiss immer lecker im frisch!

Schon lange nicht mehr so eine leckere Pizza gegessen. Saftig, flufig und schön belegt. Wir haben mit Hund draußen gesessen und ich finde es immer super wenn mein Hund vor mir schon Wasser hin gestellt bekommt!

Eten is goed. De ambiance zou stukken beter kunnen. ( Moeten.) Waarom bloemen en kruiden in bakken zetten en ze vervolgens laten verdorren... Meubilair is oud. Kortom, als je niet te veel om je heen kijkt en je concentreerd op het eten, kun je hier best een bezoekje brengen.

Erstmalig eine Pizza hier geholt, Boden sehr lecker und die Pizza üppig belegt. Klare Empfehlung!
