Die besten Restaurants in Meiningen

Great home cooking, value for money couldn't be better.

Wir haben das Restaurant in Meiningen an einem Samstagabend zu zweit ohne Reservierung besucht. Der erste Eindruck war vielversprechend: Das Ambiente ist stilvoll und einladend, der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. Leider endete die positive Erfahrung dort. Die Speisen waren geschmacklich in Ordnung, aber die Portionsgrößen schlichtweg enttäuschend – insbesondere im Verhältnis zum Preis. Wir bestellten drei verschiedene Tapas, darunter einen Mini-Burrata für 11,50 €, ein 200g Rinderfilet für 35,00 €, zu dem Pimientos de Padrón für 6,50 € gereicht wurden. Das Rinderfilet wurde völlig ohne Beilage serviert, was bei diesem Preis absolut unverständlich ist. In vergleichbaren Restaurants erhält man für diesen Betrag eine vollständige Mahlzeit mit Gemüse oder einer anderen Beilage. Besonders dreist: Selbst das Brot musste extra nachbestellt und natürlich zusätzlich bezahlt werden. Es war keine einzige Portion dabei, die auch nur ansatzweise diesen Preis rechtfertigen würde. Hier reden wir nicht von Sterneküche oder einem exklusiven Fine-Dining-Erlebnis – es war einfach eine enttäuschende Leistung für eine überzogene Rechnung. Am Ende zahlten wir über 100 € für zwei Personen für eine mehr als überschaubare Mahlzeit. Für ein gehobenes Restaurant sind höhere Preise nachvollziehbar, aber dann müssen auch Qualität und Portionsgröße stimmen. Das war hier leider in keiner Weise der Fall. Insgesamt bleibt der Eindruck, dass das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht gerechtfertigt ist.

The food had no taste, a total of 6 pieces of meat (sliced ​​size) in one portion for 11.90 euros. It's a shame that the price is not justified for this food.

Very nice reception and top service. The ambience is rustic in keeping with the location in Elisabethenburg Castle and it's not just the food that's good. We had dumplings and roulades and the advertised dumpling burger. A little dream. Both very tasty. The Toma Hawk steak from the next table also looked very good. You can also buy dumpling dough on site.

I have been eating here regularly for several years and really enjoy it. I have now tried large parts of the menu and can say with a clear conscience that everything here tastes wonderful. Whenever I feel like trying something new, I always receive good advice or special requests are made. I think the new sushi menu is particularly brilliant and I can only recommend the number SE1 to everyone. Considering that you are in a Kaufland, you can still sit very comfortably and enjoy your food. Absolute recommendation!

A great team, very friendly and fun to have. The food tastes very good, so you have to expect a wait on some days. You will be rewarded with great food. So to everyone out there, I personally recommend this pizzeria and am not so lenient on a few days of waiting...It's definitely worth it

Ich hatte mich mächtig auf den Petersfisch mit bunten Karotten in Wermut-Limettensauce gefreut und wurde leider sehr enttäuscht. Der Fisch war ähnlich einem Schnitzel paniert und schien auch dementsprechend lange in der Pfanne gelegen zu haben. Das Möhrengemüse hat an meine Schulspeisung in den siebziger Jahren erinnert. Nicht, dass dies grundsätzlich schlecht gewesen wäre. Wermut oder Limetten konnte ich jedenfalls nicht herausschmecken. Es gab aber auch etwas Positives — die Pasta war al dente…
