A well-received restaurant with quite acceptable Italian cuisine (even if the chefs might not be Italian?). The service is almost always very friendly! It's just surprising that there are no pepper and salt mills on the tables – you get small salt and pepper shakers upon request...the salad could be prepared with a bit more care and variety.

The quality of the food is far from Italian, there are definitely better places to eat. I do not recommend it

I felt very comfortable. The service was excellent, the food was excellent, and the location was also perfect. There was no through traffic. We sat outside. Everything was just perfect. The staff always makes every effort to ensure that their guests 👍 are comfortable. I can recommend it.

Unfortunately, the catering areas were dirty with butts, among other things. You also expect more from Italian ice cream. Too bad only three stars, nothing more.

It used to be a favorite, but today it has worn off. Even when I work in the catering industry, I rarely have such a bad meal. The linguine was okay but the lasagna was completely burnt. The portion was smaller than ever! 9 euros for something like that is simply too much and too high! Too bad!

The two of us went there for a quick bite for lunch. I was immediately struck by how well attended it was, which was often a good indication. My partner had pasta and I had pizza. Both were of excellent quality and I can particularly praise the pizza I ordered. It was deliciously fluffy and crispy and the selection was also outside the norm of pizza. The service was super friendly and, above all, I found the price-performance ratio to be more than good. Conclusion: The best pizza I've tried so far in Meiningen and I'm looking forward to the next time!

It was a tad sad that one gets welcomed with “we close in 50 minutes,” but we opted to come in anyway for a drink and some ice cream. We came back a few more times, and while the service could be friendlier, the food was great. I really loved the tortellini with mushrooms and cream! And the ice cream is always delicious.

To be honest, I've rarely eaten so badly. Potatoes were bottom drawer, the steak was more of a shoe sole, the children's food was rubbish and didn't taste like anything! The criticism was coldly ignored twice... We will definitely never eat anything there again, the food was really poorly prepared. It's a shame that the review isn't negative, even one star is too much

The food has deteriorated a lot. It was all totally salty. How someone can serve such dull knives with a pizza is beyond my comprehension. You couldn't cut a piece of pizza with it. We had to more or less tear everything apart. I can't recommend this store at all. It's also overpriced. 8 euros for two small slices of bruschetta is quite steep.

My buddy Frank Blaufuß wanted to buy himself and his loved one an ice cream with the last coins from his support and the waitress complained about all the 5 cents. But it's okay if it was just for fun. He's not the brightest candle on the cake.

Too long to wait for the bill from one waitress. Unfortunately, the tip will be lower. Otherwise everything was fine. Of course you pay with a credit card, but I can't believe they complain about change. You need that to give it to cash payers. This Frank Blaufuß should have invited his “loved one” to a candle light dinner instead of complaining about a small portion of ice cream. But the money from the office was probably tight again.

HOT September 2024, Saturday evening. Without pre-ordering, the answer was “just come over” and there was a lot of space inside, but of course everything outside was occupied. Visual communication with service staff worked very well, the ice cream sundae was priced correctly and tasted perfect. Of course there were other dishes as well, and the portion size was apparently okay. No air conditioning (or not switched on), which would be pointless since the guests outside also have to be served and therefore the doors were permanently open.

Unfortunately after 2:30 p.m. there was only pizza or salad. The cook had his lunch break

We had something delivered... for the first time in my life I got a tip (50 cents) from the delivery person... Addendum: You can no longer find a map on the internet. So if you want something delivered you should go to the store and choose something. They said pickup would be quicker anyway. I'm out

We had reserved a birthday table. The staff are very friendly, we had children with us and a senior who was hard of hearing, everyone was served very kindly.

Good pizzas, nice service and you can usually get a table for 2/4 people. The prices are also cheap.

We were there for the first time yesterday based on a recommendation. The food was super tasty and the price was absolutely reasonable. The portions were great. However, the service doesn't work at all. Apparently the waiter didn't like our face but we weren't noticed at all at first. Reluctantly we were given a(1!)card and our drinks. When I asked if I could have my dish with the homemade noodles, I initially only received a tired shrug of the shoulders and he probably didn't understand my request. Then he said that ALL types of pasta are of course NOT homemade....WHAT?????? I found it very sad that no one ever asked if we wanted something to drink. What was even sadder and disappointing was that everyone else got a greeting from the kitchen (bread) and we didn't! We would have liked to have stayed longer and tried out the cocktail menu and maybe wanted dessert but somehow we didn't feel welcome... so we moved on to the Greek restaurant... What a shame!

Unfortunately, the waiter was very unfriendly, served the wrong drink and then gave a blunt answer. Ordered dishes without tomatoes (allergy), but still had a starter with dried tomatoes and a main course with tomato risotta…. Will not eat here again, price/performance does not match

We ordered to pick up over the phone, I got the tortellini with cream sauce for around €12 and unfortunately it was a disappointment. The taste was ok but quite salty. The portion was far too small for €12 and no one would have been full. I'm actually used to something different from this restaurant, both in terms of taste and portion size. Unfortunately it has slowed down a lot.

Never been to such a bad Italian restaurant... You want to order spaghetti carbonara, hoping it's made the way you're used to in Italy, then you get the cheapest cooked ham in one go... And for God's sake, what's so hard about bruschetta?! An insult to every Italian...tomatoes with mozzarella diced on dry bread... a shame ! I've never experienced anything like this before

Comfortably furnished. Servants try hard. One negative aspect, the pizza with crabs only served ice cream crabs, so the kitchen could come up with something different. If the heading is for gourmets.

I actually always liked going to Italia and didn't think the food was bad, but after I wanted to get ice cream with my loved one, I've now lost it because of the service. A scoop of ice cream costs €1.50 and we wanted 2 scoops per person for €6. So far so good. We wanted to pay with a 5 euro note, 2x 20, 3x 10 and 6x 5 cents. The waitress then asked us if we were serious because she couldn't do anything with the change and told us to please think about it. I don't understand why a shop with a price of €1.50 has problems with change, but to then react in such an almost insulting way goes against any kind of politeness. We then asked politely whether we could also pay the amount by card, whereupon we were told that card payments were only possible from €10 onwards. In the end there were only 2 scoops of ice cream because one of the waffles was already finished. So make a note... change is not welcome. Either you order 2 balls and pay with at least euro coins, take over 6 balls that you can pay with card or you order 15 balls that you can pay with banknotes. Of course it's a bit exaggerated and the issue of small change is aside, but good service and customer-friendly dealings are something different!

Chocolate ice cream was fine, but vanilla was pure cream flavor. What a pity! Ice cream in the Italian ice cream parlor, I expect more!!

Being a bit out of the way offers peace and quiet, but the view isn't quite as attractive. However, the service was good and the ice cream sundaes were delicious.

We will not visit the location again because the service seemed very rude and the food, although cheap, was not tasty. The salad we ordered was just a plate full of lettuce and seemed very soulless. The bread was rich, dry and lacking in taste. The risotto we ordered had no kick and tasted like rice with tomato paste. No trace of herbs. The water and coffee tasted good. The waiter seemed very annoyed and showed no signs of friendliness. Almost all salads are meat-heavy and the portions are a pleasant size.

One of my favorite addresses when it comes to Italian food. Nice atmosphere inside and outside and friendly service. Pasta, meat and fish dishes are excellent. The pizza is also good but not quite the kind I like to eat.

I have rarely eaten so badly, we had a fish plate - according to the menu, various fish, with either bread or another side dish, unfortunately I can't remember the number, price €22. There were 2 types of fish, then 2 shrimp tails and some squid rings (there was nothing about that on the menu). The only thing that was normally edible were the rings, one fish was so baked in the breading that you had to scrape it out, the other, salmon fillet, was so dry that you had the impression of chewing on blotting paper. Not eatable. We won't eat here anymore.

Here children are apparently only allowed to eat their pizza outside if they come alone.

Unfortunately I can only give this 2 stars. The service and hospitality is really poor. Listless waiters and service staff. I waited 1 hour for my food which is definitely too long. For the main course I ordered a large Magerita pizza, on which I found almost no tomato sauce. So the pizza only tasted like greasy cheese. The ambience is average but rather atypical for an Italian restaurant. Overall I think it's rather disappointing. A pity!

Selten so gute Carbonara gegessen!!! Sehr Gut!!! Trotz Hygienevorschriften läuft hier alles Super, das Personal ist sehr nett, die Speisekarte übersichtlich gestaltet. Alle Speisen auch zum mitnehmen, alles prima organisiert! Update: Auch zu Zeiten des Personalmangels läuft es hier super. Das Personal ist sehr gut, da gibt's nichts zu meckern. Die Speisen sind alle Top. Die Küche arbeitet wirklich auf einen hohen Niveau, macht bitte weiter so! Die Pasta ist ein Gedicht, egal in welcher Variation.

Dieses Eiscafe befindet sich auf dem Marktplatz in Schmalkalden. Es war sonniges Wetter. Daher haben wir unter einem Sonnenschirm draußen jeder einen leckeren Eisbecher uns schmecken lassen. Dabei uns die wunderschöne Altstadt angesehen. Alles war okay.

Leider auf dem absteigenden Ast. Die Qualität der Speisen wird von mal zu mal schlechter, vom lieblos angerichteten Salat bis zum faden Hauptgericht (mehrere) bei unserer Gesellschaft. Top ist der Service, schnell und immer aufmerksam.

Sehr leckere Pizzen und Eisbecher. Mit dem Service bin ich vollkommen zufrieden. Es ist immer, gerade bei schönem Wetter viel los, mit größeren Gruppen sollte man definitiv reservieren. Preis Leistung ist total okay

Dauert oftmals länger bis man die Rechnung bekommt. Die Tage erst mit einem Bekannten dort gewesen, welcher eine Magen OP hatte und daher nur eine Kinderportion wollte. Dies wurde ihm verwehrt mit der Aussage "Das sind Kinderportionen und nur für Kinder". Auf Nachfrage, dass er nur eine kleine Portion essen könne, wurde ihm das weiterhin verwehrt. Nach dieser Aussage haben wir ausgetrunken und sind gegangen. Fazit: Gastfreundlichkeit und Service am Gast schaut anders aus!

Es war kaum was los. Obwohl ich bei meiner Pizza Calzone extra die Pilze abbestellt hatte waren sie drin, war sehr mühsam zu essen wenn man nach jedem Bissen auf Pilze achten muss. Ambiente war okay, Personal war bis auf unsere Bedienung (ältere Dame mit kurzen zu einem Zopf zusammengebundenen Haaren und Brille) sehr gut drauf, haben augenscheinlich viel Spaß bei der Arbeit gehabt.

Niet alleen pizza en pasta, maar andere gerechten. Veel keuze. Smaakte prima. Vriendelijke bediening. Buiten gegeten aan plein. De prijzen zijn aan de hoge kant.

Idyllischer Ort, nette, kompetente Bedienung. Warten mussten wir auch nicht lange.
