Anyone looking for a touch of Mediterranean Mallorca flair will find it, right here in Meiningen. Delicious cuisine for both the palate and the eye. The drive from Erfurt was well worth it, and the price was right. Definitely going back.

Zwingergasse 8Every time we're in Meiningen, the Goldener Zwinger restaurant is on our itinerary. We weren't disappointed 😞. The food was delicious both days. The service was excellent, and the price/performance ratio was great. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Meiningen.

Markt 8Small portion for a lot of money. The meat was still red, undercooked, and sometimes sinewy. The cutlery was completely unacceptable. Any children's cutlery at home would be better than that at an Asian bistro. Not even coffee in the late afternoon. Not worth recommending. Once, never again.
