I come here often because the espresso is actually really good—when it's made well. Unfortunately, that's not always the case. Sometimes I pay, but I can't drink it because it tastes too sour or burnt... I don't know what to say, and to be honest, I'm a little embarrassed. It's not the coffee itself—it's top-notch—but the person making it. If you find the right person, you can really get one of the best espressos anywhere.
I actually just wanted a delicious Dürüm with halloumi. Instead, I was served a culinary mystery: Was it really halloumi - or just very sad, white rubbery strips?
Luckily, they were specially placed next to me, even though I wanted them in Dürüm - I'm almost grateful for that now. That way I could at least see what I didn't want to eat.
The Dürüm itself? Oily enough to lubricate my bike brakes. I didn't actually want to bite into it - but then I did.
The halloumi wasn't just not crispy - it wasn't even cooked through. Hardly any temperature, no bite, no texture - just something mushy.
And the oil, which the halloumi apparently carefully avoided, was collected with full abandon in the kebab itself - presumably as a substitute for any taste.
A real oil spill that spilled onto my pants.
Conclusion:
If I had wanted to drown half-cooked chewing gum in used oil, I could have done it cheaper and with less frustration at home.
We celebrated my birthday here today. We made reservations in advance by email and pre-ordered a cake. We were 9 adults and 5 children, a large table had been reserved for us - outside because the weather was wonderful. The service was great, the cake was great and the drinks were very good. We were very satisfied ❤️ big recommendation!
A waitress who is overwhelmed, a kitchen that cooks at the limit and food that was burned out.
Small portion at Munich city center prices. Dishes sold out at 6 p.m. All in all, not recommended.
