Super friendly and fast service, fresh and warm homemade bread

We've visited this restaurant several times. I'd like to share my impressions. The service and food are excellent! Convenient location. The staff is always polite, and the atmosphere is pleasant. Meat dishes are served with side dishes and salad. Filling and delicious.

I wanted to try some authentic food again... I was in the mood for an Adana! It was very good. The ayran was really fresh. The nice lady treats German guests very kindly and well; I think she's the boss. Highly recommended.

A very comfortably furnished restaurant in the back. Very friendly staff!!! The food was delicious. We had the appetizer plate for two people, with bread and lots of delicious dips, falafel, and salad. For the main course, we had Etli Güvec with bulgur. A dream... The meat was very tender. The Sucuklu Pide was served with salad. Highly recommend visiting this restaurant!!! We'd love to come back!!!

Definitely like being on vacation! The fragrant, warm, fresh bread from the oven alone is worth the visit! I've eaten almost my way through the entire menu – everything is delicious – and at very reasonable prices. Very friendly and fast service.

It wasn't what I expected from a Turkish restaurant. The food was bad, but the food came cold. The starters were okay, but the main courses were over-seasoned. Too much. Cumin isn't everyone's cup of tea...it could have been more authentic. That's why it only gives me three stars, unfortunately. I had hoped for more from the pictures.

We received a very friendly welcome and immediately felt at home. The food was delicious and the service excellent. At the end, we were treated to a complimentary tea. The atmosphere was cozy. We'd love to come back and are absolutely thrilled.

Köz [kœ:s] - a top address in Jena! We had breakfast with tea included. It was fantastic throughout. Lovingly prepared, cleverly composed. Nothing was left to be desired. The coffee was also excellent. Add to that the attentive service and well-kept rooms with a personal touch, including a Carl Zeiss Jena jersey. Simply a fantastic service and a huge asset to the city.

I went today with a friend, the food was disgusting, there was almost no meat in the pita, the one that was raw was covered in tomato paste, the kebab was completely raw and very bad, the appetizer came before the meal, a small pita and bread hard as a rock and the price was expensive I went for the first time If you want to have a stomach upset, you can go

We celebrated a wedding here with 25 people. Our area was beautifully decorated. The staff did everything efficiently and quickly. The atmosphere was extremely friendly. They also allowed us to store our wedding cake here for the entire morning and afternoon. They were super nice and flexible. Thank you so much to the team!

(My rating): Restaurant (1/10) Poor quality service, Lack of food, prices are too high, Unfriendly and disrespectful, The food is tasteless. The service (0/10): i bought number 51 mix grill to take it away, they forgot half of the order, they forgot cutlery, they disrespected by "I have to pay before I take the food and run away" and I said what do you mean by that? he said it again!! with "I have to pay before I take it and run away because people have done that before" what a such poor restaurant, they didn't even ask for rice or chips, salad or without, they decided by themselves, and when I asked to change that they threw the food front of me and start yelling, instead of apologizing. The food (2/10): the food taste bad, nothing close to Turkish food, chicken so dry, no seasoning, bland, the meat is tasteless, dry too, paprika so spicy and didn't even ask for it, chips are cold and hard like rocks, nothing is fresh, smelling and looking like dogs food, the only thing I like is the salad taste good and I have threw everything in the trash.

I liked the welcoming , the ambiance and the decoration. I felt myself confortable and charmed by the enlightened candles placed on the table. The service was quick, and all personnel polite and helpful.The meat was excellent 👌, the baklava and the tea. Areas to improve : the tomatoe soup: was more than a pizza sauce than a Turkish domates çorbası. The taste of cumin in the rice was unpleasant, and the fattouch salad could be much better. A part from that everything was more excellent.

Good Turkish dishes and loved the atmosphere.

We had breakfast here. It was incredibly tasty, especially the bread is to die for! If you walk through to the back it is very cozy and nicely decorated. There is even WiFi available upon request.

Very inconspicuous at first, but this is wrong. A rich selection of Turkish / Anatolian specialties. Anyone interested in such specialties is in good hands here The only difficulty you have in this restaurant is finding the food you want on the menu. Every time after you think you've found the right one, you "stumble" upon dish, which seems to be even better. There were three of us in the restaurant and we decided to take three different starters and share them. An absolutely right decision. The meat and vegetables in the main course were cooked to perfection and the taste was absolutely fantastic. The service is fast, friendly and helpful. The kitchen staff also works quickly. The appetizers were on the table quicker than expected. There are also enough vegan dishes on the menu. At the end there was tea for everyone. Absolutely recommended. We would be happy to come back at any time.

Really great here. Again and again. Everything delicious. People friendly. Actually more focused on meat, but vegetarians can still get their stomachs full with delicious pide or the mixed starter platter, which is totally loving and rich. Of course you pay but somehow it feels like family.

Unfortunately we didn't take my food intolerance (gluten) concerns seriously. The waitress didn't know her stuff at all and said false things.

The food is decent here with the adana kebab being enjoyable along with the provided side dish. A friend tried the minced meat with Aubergine starter which also seemed to be a value for money dish considering the amount provided. However the diced lamb dish was a bit tough to chew and seemed less palatable than the other dishes. Overall the ambience of the place is nice. The portion sizes could be slightly improved for some of the dishes though.

Unfortunately, Adana Kebab was very dry. But the chicken was very good. Unfortunately, a 15 euro dish won't fill you up.

Really delicious food (had the Adana Kebab) and unique in Jena. Service was very nice and courteous and the atmosphere is cozy. You get flatbread and dips as a starter and raki after the meal. We'd love to come back :)

Whenever I go to Jena, I like to eat here. It's nice that most of the staff can speak Turkish. I also loved how friendly and attentive they are and that they even offer free little things like tea. The food tastes great and the place is very cozy and beautiful. I can only recommend it to everyone.

Loved the Adana kebap! The homemade sauces were the perfect starter. Super friendly service & and the vibe in that cute, lively side street was amazing on a sunny day – I’ll definitely be back!

Simple, authentic restaurant in bistro style. You sit well and not on top of each other. Service is very friendly, good explanations for beginners with Turkish food. Skewers grilled on charcoal and meat is perfect. An older, obviously needy man was given his coffee - with a smile, mind you !Baklava at the end was great - thank you

Really recommended. The food is plentiful, very tasty, fresh and homemade. We had the starter plate with lots of delicious creams, grape leaf clearly not industrially produced. Afterwards I had the lamb stew with okra. When asked, my impression was confirmed that the okra pods were fresh and not frozen. If you want to enjoy authentic Turkish cuisine other than kebab, this is the right place for you

We were there with 3 wheelchair users and have to say that we were given a very warm welcome. The older lady from the service took great care of us. Tables crazy, umbrellas open, really totally adorable. The food was excellent. We had fried vegetables, pide and yogurt with garlic. All very tasty.

A great place to eat, drink and relax. We were served very well and friendly by Zeki (super nice guy). Food was very authentic and we were very close to the original. Keep it up. So - you have to come here and enjoy the time.

Very family-run café with lunch, I get my coffee here every now and then. Since the situation is student-oriented, the team reacts flexibly and still keeps its offer original. Always happy to come back for a coffee!

Very nice service, the guys are doing a really great job! We had a pide with garlic salami, the chicken and veal grill skewer and salad. Overall successful and very tasty. There was even a greeting from the kitchen, very unexpected and very positive. The salad dressing was also exciting. Is there sesame combined with a touch of watermelon? I have no idea, but it was really tasty. Gladly again.

We have now been to a few restaurants in Jena and in every respect this restaurant is something special! Unlike the sarcastic waiters in the taverns, here they are nice and tactful. Very attentive and with humor, they serve even larger groups very quickly and friendly! So a real tip! My recommendation is the mixed starter plate! P.S. Thanks again for the mojitos!

I was asked to sit next to the door which would never close causing extreme discomfort because of cold wind coming in. This is despite the fact that half of the restaurant was empty. I ordered Adana Kebab, it was below average

Wir waren zum Mittagessen im Köz und hatten Falafel, Pide und gegrilltes Gemüse. Alles sehr lecker und frisch. Und auch nicht uberwürzt, so dass vom Gemüse mit Joghurtdip auch die Lütte mit probieren konnte. Das alles in angenehmer Atmosphäre, zu angemessenen Preisen und mit einem aufmerksamen Service kombiniert. Empfehlung.
