The food was delicious, with many vegetarian options. Tastiest lassi I've ever had. Super friendly and relaxed service. We were really happy to have tried this place! Note: it is much nicer inside (very cosy) as it looks from the outside. Wonderful surprise, great find in Erfurt.

A good place to meet up with friends. We had a lovely evening here with friends and we enjoyed it. The food was delicious (tip giant currywurst), the service was excellent (friendly, quick and helpful) and there were just nice people at the other tables too. The next evening is already planned there. We wish the team all the best. You're doing a great job.

We ate here with a large group and were a bit disappointed. Since someone in the group had allergies, we checked the menu online in advance. Unfortunately, on the day of our meal, there was only a pizza menu and a crumpled note with some of the daily specials. When we asked for other dishes, as offered on the online menu, we were unfortunately refused. Also, some pasta dishes arrived at the table only lukewarm. The service was good, and the pizza was delicious.

An absolutely horrific experience! My girlfriend and I went to this restaurant, and everything was fine until we went to the restroom just before leaving. And then the real nightmare began. The door opened, and a woman working in the kitchen rushed toward me. Apparently, she had a personal dislike for me. This employee grabbed my jacket and hair and threatened to rip out all my hair if I came back there again. But that's not all. Before that, she even went outside and started talking some utter nonsense. We ignored it because it was obvious this woman wasn't quite right in the head, but what happened next in the restroom is simply shocking. I was forced to file a police report because the restaurant employee just attacked me. I've heard a lot about this restaurant, and now I can say with certainty that the negative aspects far outweigh the positives. The owners should be much more careful about who they hire. This behavior is completely unacceptable and I will never enter this restaurant again.

Very nice for eating and bowling

The Johannesklaus is a beautiful old pub with delicious food and relaxed service, who always has a saying on their lips. The only drawback were the fried potatoes, which could have used a little more time in the pan. Otherwise price performance really good

The store is very confusing. If you park in the wrong spot in the parking lot and pay at the cash register, you'll have to walk a long way to your car.

Unfortunately, our visit to this restaurant was not a pleasant one. When we asked if the fried potatoes could be made without bacon for a vegetarian, we were refused, saying they were already prepared. We had specifically ordered a dish that wasn't so time-consuming to prepare, as we wanted to go to the cinema. After an hour and a half, the food still wasn't ready. We left without eating, which was a real shame. The location itself was quite nice, but the music was a bit too loud.

My recommendation, good food for a good price.
