Unfortunately, we can't say much good about our kitchen purchase from Höffner. Two stars are justified due to good advice and planning from my colleague at the furniture store, everything was great up until then. First shock, kitchen planning at the beginning of July, earliest delivery date in December... OK, you accept as long as everything is ready, fitters get out and the first sentence was "you definitely can't build this kitchen in one day" ... no information about what happened next, telephone contact with Höffner, date for further construction in February, postponed to the end of January after protests. Day 2 of construction ended similarly to day 1. The kitchen was not finished and on this day we made the big mistake of paying the entire amount of almost €17,000. Since then, no one has felt responsible for our third appointment. After several calls, they simply said they would get in touch to make an appointment. Words cannot express how disappointed we are. Expensive kitchen, 2 appointments to set it up weren't enough, we hope everything will be ready after the 3rd and we've now had to wait 9 months.

If I could I would give this store -5 stars. Employees are very unfriendly and have no idea where to find anything in this store, even in the specialist department no one wants to sell anything. After giving precise information about what you want, there is only the statement is it only available online or are we not interested in finding alternatives. I myself come from the trade and that is a disgrace. Anyone who goes here should be prepared to go home without furniture. The restaurant is just as bad because the food is dried out so fresh looks different. All in all super disappointed 😞

The delivery took longer than stated in the purchase contract. In addition, you could not pay with a Visa card during delivery, but had to use an EC card. This should be made clearer or, even better, Visa cards should simply be accepted. If no debit card is available and no cash is available, the furniture will be taken back. Purchasing on account was also not possible.

We are extremely disappointed with Möbel Höffner, Erfurt. We urgently needed a new refrigerator. Our search began at Möbel Höffner, Erfurt. There was a device in stock that should be delivered to us promptly. When compared with other providers, the price for the device was slightly higher, but the decisive factor was the immediate availability. So we concluded the purchase contract with Möbel Höffner and waited for a prompt delivery date. Nothing worked here in a timely manner. Not even the information that Möbel Höffner decided on its own initiative not to deliver the device that was in stock, but to order a new device from the manufacturer and then deliver it. This information was not communicated to us. After being on hold every day for a week, we were able to find out this information. Never again Möbel Höffner, promises are not kept there.

Disappointing experience at Möbel Höffner Unfortunately, our experience with Möbel Höffner was consistently negative. We had ordered a bed that was originally supposed to have a delivery time of a few months. However, we ended up having to wait over 6 months for it. During this time, communication from Höffner was poor. We had to report ourselves repeatedly and were always put off for another week. When the bed was finally delivered, the bed base was damaged and the footrest was faulty. We then contacted Höffner again and had to make phone calls for weeks. It was always said that they were in contact with the manufacturer, but there were no concrete solutions. After months of delays, we suddenly received an email saying that the contract with the manufacturer had been terminated and therefore there would be no more spare parts. The only option we were ultimately offered was a cancellation change contract. After all the delays and hassle this was extremely disappointing. We would have expected more transparent communication, faster solution finding and better customer service from a renowned furniture store like Höffner. Unfortunately, this experience has left us with lasting disappointment and we will refrain from placing any further orders with Höffner in the future.

We wanted to get an offer for a kitchen. The lady was more than annoyed and told us, 'I'm taking a break now. And then I have little time.” The whole thing in one tone - that didn't work at all. The campaign took us to a small kitchen studio outside of Erfurt. We received very friendly and competent advice there. The new kitchen will be moving in soon. It's a shame Höffner, but service is different.

What use is a furniture store that is good and accessible if everything inside takes forever? Today we bought a lamp, selected it and then looked for a seller, finally found it, went back with the seller through the department to the lamp in question, showed us which one we wanted, the seller scanned it, went back to the service counter with us, gives us the invoice, then we had to pay for the lamp at one of the overcrowded checkouts, waiting time..... finally pay, we then had to go to the goods issue point inside the building, there in front of it! Wait until it's finally our turn, the warehouse worker drives through the hall with a forklift, appears with the tiny light truck and forklift and wants to hand it over to us, but! It's the wrong lamp, not the one we bought, the seller probably wrote us the wrong item in the invoice, but since the information was almost identical to the lamp we chose, we didn't care about the price or the color that it was another of the same kind. Looking for a seller, no one there, after another employee had finally finished serving other customers, he was now all alone in the lighting department, we went back with him to the exhibition on the shelf, showed our lamp again, new scan of it now the correct lamp, go back to the service counter, create a credit note for the incorrect lamp, print out an invoice for the now correct lamp, go back to the checkout, stand in line to pay for the correct lamp and credit the incorrect lamp. Back to the goods issue, line up again and wait for your turn, numerous pieces of furniture are handed out in boxes, finally it's our turn, the forklift makes its rounds through the hall again and brings us the right light. We go back and finally to the parking lot. It has now been over an hour since we first paid for the small lamp when we can leave the building. Thank you Möbel-Höffner for this incredibly great shopping experience today, January 3rd, 2025! I think we will buy lighting on the Internet in the future, more peace of mind when choosing, no more standing around forever, looking and waiting for sellers who are not at work but are hiding somewhere invisible and delivery two days later to the front door, no need to cork fuel because of a small light 36km back and forth, because the postal vehicle comes through the street every day anyway, whether with items for us or without. It was a real shopping experience that we won't soon forget. We will probably hardly use Möbel-Höffner again. Thanks for the afternoon that was over.

****Update****Okay, after almost 4 months of waiting for my cupboard, finally a new day of delivery and then it fails because there is supposedly no parking space available for the truck^^ 2nd delivery attempt, the cupboard is now broken It's a bit of persuasion for me and after everything has been written down you come back here just to set up a truck and you can't park again...that's really a big deal when you're told that you signed for it when you bought it, but you don't do it again it is pointed out^^ or that one would have said You could then prefer to come with a transporter (but how do you point that out when you don't even know that this option is available^^) ....just ridiculous! ....the best thing was that a neighbor said what the problem was, her entire kitchen was also brought by Höffner and there were no problems. So the furniture store is really great and has a lot of selection, but when it comes to delivery you really have to improve a lot, the shipping company really makes it a bit too easy for itself, at the expense of the customer!!!! Unfortunately, Höffner is through for me, I don't see the point of buying anything bigger anymore, that's just embarrassing and no one here feels responsible! If those who built it hadn't finally given in, I would have had to take a pointless day off for the third time to build a closet 👌🏻 No thanks! If you want to try out the worst service in the world, I can recommend Höffner!

We have had very good experiences with Mr. Stiebritz (salesperson in the wardrobe area). Even though it was just before closing time, he still responded to our wishes. After consulting with the manufacturer the following day, he even made it possible for one of our wishes to be realized. In general, the furniture store makes a very good impression and always offers interesting promotions. The rating applies to custom-made kitchen furniture. I do not recommend Höffner! If you want to wait forever for your new kitchen to be finished, this store is for you...We entered into a contract for a new kitchen on February 27, 2024. The delivery date specified in the contract: week 19-21, 2024. Actual delivery date: June 27th, 2024, i.e. 26 KW. Of course the order arrived incomplete and one cabinet was the wrong size. Complaint for the closet being too big. Second delivery date: September 3rd, 2024. The missing elements arrived, but the cupboard that was complained about was missing. The online service refers you to the seller, the seller redirects you to the head office and the answering machine at the head office redirects you to the online service. It's been 9 months since we ordered and our kitchen is still unfinished. What's more interesting is that mechanics throw cigarette butts next to the house. I will never buy anything from Höffner again!

We bought a kitchen here. To say that the furniture store is expensive is, in my opinion, very short-sighted. Because there is something for every price range. We decided on a Nolte kitchen. The whole process was totally uncomplicated. The advisors were very competent (for us it was first Mr. Diener and then Mr. Meidrott), patient and polite. The appointment for the measurement was made quickly; the appointment took place in half an hour. Financing was also no problem and even 0% financing. We would buy there again and again and recommend this furniture store at any time!

Then last week we drove back to Höffner to complain about the matter personally, we were traced from A to B and sent back to A? Nobody here feels responsible or has any idea how or where to complain! Photos taken of the damage, printed out, we were supposed to call on Monday, as the saying goes, useless telephone. There would be no one there who could give information, we now had to complain via email, take photos again, and now NOTHING, no calls, no written communication! Maybe customer service will read this and someone will feel called to take care of the matter. Thanks for nothing!!! Should I go to the store three times? The selection of furniture, decoration, home textiles and kitchen accessories is huge and there is something for every taste and in every price range. The advice and service were top. As of September 29th - the dishwasher still doesn't work (exactly 100 days after the water damage)- details added at the end of the post! We are currently extremely disappointed with how we are currently being treated (customer service). We ordered a new kitchen at the beginning of the year, which was installed in mid-June. The kitchen planner was great, it gets 5 stars. The Kempfle kitchen itself also has 5 stars. During construction, the extractor hood was missing (we were informed about this in advance), a wall cupboard was broken, and the tap/mixer tap was also missing. Subsequent delivery and installation of these missing items 6 weeks later. And now to the actual fiasco. The builders did a sloppy job when connecting the dishwasher. When we first used it, water ran into the cupboard and onto the floor or under the laminate. After calling Höffner, a customer service manager came by 5 days later to assess the damage. He couldn't do much because he was alone and didn't remove the dishwasher. Ordered a new hose because part of it had broken off (was under the kitchen). Since there is now neither a tap nor a dishwasher, I asked for it to be done quickly - it was noted as urgent. We heard nothing for 14 days and went to Höffner in person. You should then send another email with the photos for the insurance. Didn't hear anything again for 14 days. We sent an email to Höffner with a deadline - again we didn't hear anything from Höffner. Called again and went there in person. Then I received an email from the insurance department saying that nothing had been done with our case because information was still missing, which the fitters provided on July 29th. (i.e. the date when the missing parts should be installed). The fitters came. Demonstration effect after the water was turned off for 6 weeks - everything is dry and the dishwasher works. Everyone is gone again. We use the dishwasher. Water in the closet and on the floor again. Höffner informed. Now the customer service manager is coming back next week. Mistakes can happen, we are all human. But the way customer service/customer service has treated us since the damage has left us speechless. We hope that something will finally happen. Current status September 29th. The dishwasher is still not usable, missing parts have not been delivered and installed. Customer service manager came on August 22nd. - he had no information about what happened on July 29th. was made. Great preparation for a repeat visit to customers where a lot has already gone wrong. It's also quick. On August 23rd New water connection installed, customer service for the dishwasher glhat on September 4th. replaced the hose. And nothing since then. I'm really at a loss for words!

On September 9th, 2024 around 2:15 p.m. there was only one cash register occupied, quite a long line of customers!! We had been standing there for over 10 minutes and it was very slow, as usual there was always some problem with the check! Now the following happened: a young lady came, everyone thought she was going to open a cash register, but no, she stood next to the first customer and the cashier hurried out of the cash register to the toilet that was in sight!! Of course it took a few minutes until she appeared again, and now she was standing but the customers are already up to the aisle through the stands!! We stood in 5th position and spent about 20 minutes to pay!! If that's normal, then... you ask yourself whether you were still in the right place!!

One of the worst services we have ever experienced. We bought a kitchen for >15k€. After 1 1/2 years the refrigerator breaks and we contact Höffner about the warranty and a replacement immediately. With 2 small children at home, we are literally lost without a refrigerator. We should contact the manufacturer and they tell us that a replacement can be made in 2 weeks at the earliest. The worst case scenario was that Höffner asked us when we asked for an interim replacement that we could pick it up ourselves in 5 days. The sales consultant wrote us an email when we asked whether you could speed up the exchange: "Well, there's nothing you can do about that." Amazon understands how customer service works, Höffner definitely doesn't - no wonder why online sales are continuously increasing and the shopping and department stores are thus driving themselves out of business. We won't leave a single cent more in this house.

Now, how do you want to value a furniture store these days? I think what counts is the overall package of beautiful and inexpensive furniture, a very friendly staff (I think it's great that someone with a speech impediment can work in service there!!!) and its own restaurant with an amazingly high quality. Everything just fits there. By the way, the advantages of a customer card are enormous...

I'm already disappointed! Everything has worked well so far, even if there were problems they were solved. But when you order something that needs to be assembled and then get it and it's not assembled, I think it's not so good. Service=0 especially when you have to wait another month until assembly 😳 and the old furniture has already been disposed of. You can only learn from mistakes. Customer service didn't care, but now we get the money back for the installation and take care of it ourselves. But very annoying when I think about what we spent there and how we were treated. But you have it for free.😡

I'm posting my experiences with the restaurant here because the management probably doesn't realize what's been going wrong there lately: I'm a regular guest. Unfortunately the quality has declined recently. Portions are smaller, or dishes are “out” at lunchtime. Currywurst sauce is dried and diluted with water in front of the guests. There's been a lot less choice in salads lately and unfortunately it's no longer fresh. I have to change my “I am” to “I was a guest” as long as the operator doesn't change here. Does the management at Höffner care about what happens there???? I hope not…..

We recently moved to Erfurt and wanted to set up a nice bathroom, so we went to Möbel Höffner. After good advice, we found and ordered bathroom furniture. The bathroom base cabinet was only available after a long delivery time. After 8 weeks he came and it wasn't the right one. We cannot be satisfied with the conversation with customer service and the employee's statement. Unfortunately we have to wait about 8 weeks again. Purchase contract number 7467668. Large Höffner branch with the famously huge selection. In terms of price, everything can be found here in the middle segment. The gastronomy on the top floor is particularly noteworthy - the furnishings and concept are an experience in themselves.

Nice furniture store, really lots of selection. Staff are always there and help immediately. But I have to deduct one point for the lady in the bed linen department. This time too we left again when we got to the department. Actively called for help this time, then she said something briefly in annoyance and quickly left again. Sorry, but if you don't feel like doing the job, then look for something else. We then just left without buying anything in that department.

50 km journey. Inviting architecture in the form of a huge gate. It should be a new bed. Up on the 2nd floor then disillusionment... graveyard quiet, a few customers, consultations at 1 or 2 tables. Got my bedroom delivered and set up today!! Great service from the sales conversation with Ms. Herthel...the delivery and assembly team Mr. Weisse and Mr. Herzog were absolutely awesome!! Quick, careful construction in what felt like 30 degrees this morning!! Friendly gentlemen who fulfilled customer requests at short notice. We chose and ordered a very expensive couch locally in February. The seller told us that the couch would be delivered very promptly (2 weeks). After two weeks we called to ask when we could expect delivery and were told that the couch wasn't there yet. Every time I asked about it over the phone, the delivery date was pushed back further, the customer service was very rude and unfriendly in every conversation, no apology, no nothing. Now (18 weeks later!!!!) the couch still hasn't been delivered. Never again!

We were more than POSITIVELY surprised by the service and expert advice regarding our bed purchase!!! Mr. Mark-Vincent Taufmann advised us in Erfurt on May 15, 2024. When we arrived, Mr. Taufmann was on his lunch break in the bed department and we were able to sweeten the short waiting time with coffee and tea in Höffner's "chef's hat" (we were given a voucher for this). With Mr. Taufmann we had very good, customer-oriented and technically competent bed advice. He took a lot of time to answer all of our questions and concerns in detail. We tested various beds, mattresses and concepts. Info: By our standards, we were in the furniture store for a very, very long time and, following the TOP advice, we concluded a purchase contract for a premium bed (several thousand euros - but quality has its price). The previous advice at another furniture store was not as good and nowhere near as detailed. If the delivery and assembly work in about 10 to 12 weeks, then everything will be PERFECT!!! Thank you. Not recommended at all!!!!!! Extremely long delivery times, then the couch comes and is broken, no one feels responsible for it, after a complaint only part of the new couch arrives and no one knows anything about it. Now you are put off because you get the other part of the couch 6 weeks later!!!
