Ristorante Pavarotti in Erfurt

We had dinner at Pavarotti this evening; the food was delicious. It took a while for the waitress to notice we were there. Drinks arrived quickly, and the starters and main courses were served at a good interval. Since we made a good profit, it would have been nice to have a small drink on the house, like the guests around us were treated to. The service was very friendly. The restaurant is conveniently located near the fish market.

The waiter was very rude since the moment I got there. There was a misunderstanding while ordering because he did not make any effort to help, he even got mad I was speaking Spanish with my grandma while he was there even though I was talking to him in English, i told him I would pay for the extra dish and even though I said I would pay he was still yelling at me at the table. He was awful and this restaurant clearly does not care about their customers or at least their tourist customers. It is a shame since the food was great.

They put us at the worst table, even though there were better ones available that they gave to two men who came behind. No lamp on the table, no free appetizers like other diners. It tastes good but the dough is a little burnt. The amazing thing: when we go to pay another older waiter comes and brings us the bill, he tells us how much we want to pay because in Germany they tip, when we tell him that we want to pay what is written on the receipt, he charges us and tells us thank you for nothing. I don't recommend it. It is the first time in all the years I have gone on a trip to Germany that they have asked me for a 10% tip.

The Ristorante Pavarotti in Erfurt scores with its excellent location and generous seating options - whether outside in front of the house, in the beautiful beer garden or in the stylishly furnished interior with around 300 seats. The atmosphere is inviting, and the loving design with lots of pictures is particularly noticeable. We went there twice during our stay. On our first visit we received very friendly service, the ice cream was good - an overall successful impression that prompted us to return for dinner the next evening. Unfortunately, the second visit wasn't quite as convincing. These were only minor points, but they added up: a burnt hole in the tablecloth, longer waiting times for service despite other guests arriving later, a lack of cheese for the pasta, no asking for pepper or salad - things that were taken for granted at the next table. The spoon with the pasta was also missing. The pizza was visually great, with good dough, but unfortunately the taste was not convincing. Overall, Pavarotti is a nice restaurant with a lot of potential. If the details mentioned are improved, it can once again fully meet its own standards of quality and service.

If it were possible, I would give 100 stars! The nicest restaurant I've ever been to! Rich, intelligent! The waiters deserve special respect!

It is a wonderful restaurant in a historic setting. The food is excellent. I can highly recommend the spaghetti with wild mushrooms. There is also home-brewed beer. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. We spent a wonderful evening here. Thank you! 👍👍

We (2 adults and 2 children) came spontaneously and got a place straight away. The drinks were on the table 5 minutes after ordering (including a free aperitif). The food was also brought quickly and the portions were barely manageable. The children's plates were also richly filled. The staff was super friendly and the price-performance ratio was very good. Went there again on the second evening and were not disappointed. The volume was, like in any larger restaurant, a bit loud.

We recently visited this restaurant, which at first glance impressed us with its very inviting atmosphere and the friendly, if slightly overwhelmed, staff. The atmosphere was pleasant and invited you to relax. To start we ordered a Margherita pizza which was really good - a classic dish that's hard to go wrong with. Unfortunately, the rest of our meal fell far short of these expectations. We also chose a Wiener Schnitzel and a Chicken Schnitzel, both served with potatoes, asparagus and a hollandaise sauce. While the potatoes were fine, the asparagus proved inedible. In addition, the hollandaise was obviously not homemade, which was disappointing for a restaurant of this type. The most serious thing, however, were the schnitzels. These were so heavily soaked in oil that they just looked sad and were absolutely not edible. All in all we were disappointed with our visit. Although the ambience and the friendliness of the staff are positive, we unfortunately cannot recommend it due to the quality of the food and will definitely not be coming back.

The menu says the fries cost €3.90 and the receipt ultimately said €4.50…what a shame!

My friends and I recently visited this restaurant and left with mixed feelings. On one hand, the atmosphere was pleasant enough and the waitstaff were quite attentive, even though they could have taken the opportunity to ask if we were enjoying our meal. Unfortunately, the food itself fell short of expectations. The fries were disappointingly half-cooked, and the Pizza Margherita tasted like a Pizza Fromage. The spaghetti, laden with champignons and garlic, was overwhelmingly garlicky, and the overall presentation felt rushed and lacked care. While the service and ambiance showed potential, the culinary execution needs significant improvement to match the hospitality. I hope the kitchen takes this feedback to heart and refines their offerings in the future.

Went here spontaneously for dinner today. It was quite full but were able to get a seat outside. Drinks came promptly, as did food. However, my wife's asparagus was almost cold, I kindly told the waiter and got a new meal without any hassle, so completely, not just the asparagus. Very nice. Everything else too, hot and delicious. Only recommended.

During the visit to Erfurt we stopped at the Pavarotti Restaurant (café and dinner). A nicely furnished ambience awaits the guest (with a decorative banquet hall). The service is very attentive and friendly. The dishes (coffee, capuccino, cocoa, cakes and schnitzel dishes) all tasted good. In short: the Pavarotti is worth a visit if you are staying in Erfurt.

Great restaurant with lots of seats. Had an event with about 80 people...buffet and wine were excellent. In the heart of the old town.

We have been there several times and it tastes excellent. Unfortunately, vegan options aren't available that much yet. Vegan pizza would be another highlight. We'll be back!

We got a table for 6 people on Saturday without a reservation. But I would advise you to make a reservation if it is not spontaneous. Our order was taken quickly. As a welcome there was a Prosecco on the house. Our food came after just 15 minutes. It was super tasty. The pizzas are topped with fresh ingredients on an original Italian pizza dough. But the spaghetti and risotto were also incredibly tasty. The waiters are always very friendly.

Excellent atmosphere. Vitello tomato, and risotto were good. The beef was ok. It was very nice they offered free Prosecco to start with. We ordered Mojito and beers. All good. This restaurant was introduced by peer colleagues in Erfurt. Not expensive and good for a happy dinner with friends.

A very well-known and well-attended Italian restaurant for Erfurt residents. You can expect very good quality traditional Italian cuisine here. Since we have a large selection of Italian restaurants in Erfurt, Pavarotti stands out in terms of its size and location. It is certainly possible to celebrate larger celebrations here. The location is perfectly centrally located at the fish market with a connection to the train not far from Domplatz, Anger or Wenigemarkt.

Das Essen war geschmacklich nicht schlecht,aber negativ ist uns aufgefallen das es gefühlt eine Massenabfertigung und somit der Lärmpegel sehr hoch war - was auch sehr stressig war. Auch platzmässig waren wir sehr beengt gesessen, was bei bei mehreren Personen auch schon eine Herausforderung war.

If you are in Erfurt, you should look for a restaurant other than Pavarotti. Overcrowded, unventilated, not very clean and way too loud. The food is ready-made (frozen) goods, made quickly, not tasty and expensive. We had two tickets with different prices. When we were finished eating and just wanted to sit for a bit…. The waiter gave it his all, so he deserved more stars, but his boss ruined everything with a change-the-guests hand gesture. That doesn't work at all. There was nothing left to earn from us...that's rude. We then left and will not recommend Pavarotti (they are not Italian, but Bulgarian).

Today I had spaghetti with porcini mushrooms, garlic and rocket. Highly recommended . Today only 3 stars for the service because it was not possible to taste the semi-dry red wine at €9.50 a glass beforehand.

We had an excellent meal here with 7 people on Saturday evening. Although it was very busy, the drinks and the delicious food were served very quickly by a very friendly and attentive waiter. There was also a welcome glass of wine. We had 7 different main meals as well as starters and desserts. Everything was fresh and deliciously prepared. The different lemonades are very refreshing. We can highly recommend the Pavarotti and would love to come back!!😋😋

Extraordinarily good Italian in the center of Erfurt. The restaurant was very full, but we were able to get a nice table very quickly and the service was very nice and attentive. Excellent food was served at a pleasant pace. It wasn't too loud and the prices were reasonable. Clear recommendation. If we come to Erfurt again, we will definitely come back.

Unfriendly service! When we entered the restaurant we were assigned a dirty table in the middle of the aisle with no cutlery or napkins. Nobody cared about us. When I asked the waiter about the condition of the table, he refused to clean it and claimed that it had already been cleaned. He also didn't take our order and said, "Then go eat somewhere else." Something like that can quickly put a customer off - and that was the case with us. Once and never again!

Unfortunately the restaurant is just average. A little more authenticity would be good for the restaurant, the large number of non-Italian dishes does not contribute to the quality expectations. The food was solid but not outstanding. Unfortunately the dishes were served very late. Not a mistake for hungry people, but by no means a compelling recommendation.

We were in the restaurant in the run-up to Christmas, it was very lovingly and festively decorated. Direct greeting when you come in, nice service, good food. Relatively noisy as the restaurant is large. The selection of food is very large, spaghetti and schnitzel were good, not special. Dessert was very tasty.

I was with a friend. We ordered two different pastas - pasta with seafood and pasta carbonara. They brought it to us quickly. But both my friend and I started having serious stomach problems just half an hour after dinner. It's just a disaster. You can't poison people. And for the second day now I can’t come to my senses

Ein Trauerspiel. Essen eine Katastrophe. Nicht nur, dass die Pizzen schlecht und die Schnitzel aus der Tiefkühltruhe kamen, nein, es geht noch schlimmer. Frische Pasta, fast zu Brei gekocht, dazu sollte es frische Steinpilze geben. Dem Nudelbrei wurde dann nur Sahne ohne Gewürze dazu gegeben und die frischen Steinpilze, 3 kleine Stücke lagen am Rand des Tellers in eine Sulzsoße. Niemals wieder werde ich da etwas essen, zumal alles überteuert ist. Wenn die Qualität stimmen würde, sind die Preise ja ok. Aber für das was wir bekommen haben.....ohne Worte. Ach ja vom dreckigen Geschirr wollte ich erst garnicht anfangen.

I definitely drank one less beer than my companion. Then why do we have to pay for 14 beers? Definitely 3 too many. Grappa doesn't make up for that.

Great Italian restaurant in the Gilde Haus in Erfurt. Decorated for Christmas and rated grade 1! Even received a nightcap shortly before closing time!

Delicious food, good service but you feel a bit like you're at the train station. Due to the location and the time, the restaurant is incredibly full..

Welcoming atmosphere, good food reasonable prices. A nice touch is the complimentary glass of juice or Sekt to accompany a meal.

We come to this restaurant every time we visit Erfurt. Super friendly, professional, fast service, top quality, fair prices, you just have to go there. And sensationally decorated at Christmas time.
