An extremely long wait for food. This hasn't been the only experience.
The food was delicious, the service friendly, but if they had been more attentive, we certainly would have ordered more drinks.
The atmosphere was cozy, yet very warm.
It's a very nice pub 😄😄👍👍👍👍👍👍! You can sit here very comfortably and enjoy your drink and the prices are very good compared to other pubs!
You can also play darts!
And you don't have to go out to smoke because it's a smoking bar 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😀👍👍👍👍👍👍😀😀😀
Unfortunately it's just below average, at least when it comes to pizza. However, the price promises to be upper class. 18.90€ for a pizza Naooli (capers, olives, anchovies, garlic), approx. 27-30cm is quite cheeky, considering that it is also a pan pizza that is not particularly crispy, not particularly airy and unfortunately not particularly tasty either. But primarily rubbery and a bit too greasy. I can neither confirm nor deny whether only mozzarella was involved. A little salt and pepper made it slightly better. At least the small mixed side salad only cost €3.90 and there was no problem getting one even though it wasn't on the menu. But it shouldn't have cost more due to its size and taste. But I don't want to complain about that. What I also find cheeky is the price for a 0.2l San Peligrino mineral water. The main purpose is probably that you prefer to take a 0.75l bottle for €6.90, which is unfortunately normal for German extortionate prices for mineral water. Unthinkable in Italy.
The ambience was quite nice, but unfortunately a bit drafty when guests went in and out to smoke. Luckily I was sitting right next to the heater so it was bearable.
Conclusion: If you want to eat pizza, you should go somewhere else or order from a delivery service. There is probably a lot more choice there with the same or perhaps better quality, but certainly at a much fairer price. If I'm in Itzehoe again, I'll definitely eat somewhere else.
