The food is okay, but not good enough to justify the prices. For this price you can eat much better, and some things just weren't right. If you don't eat meat or fish, the choice of dishes is limited to three. These three dishes are not particularly creative and can be found in every run-of-the-mill canteen. The vegetable gratin doesn't taste bad, but for more than €20 you'd expect a lot more. The crème brûlée was warm and barely tasted like vanilla - a crème brûlée needs to be cool and have a warm, crunchy layer of caramel on top. That would all be okay, but for the price it just doesn't deliver the desired result.

The food here is incredibly delicious - every dish tells a story and offers an incomparable, unique taste experience. The quality of the food is exceptional. The service is excellent: the staff is highly professional, friendly and ensures that every guest feels welcome and comfortable - almost as if you were at home. The atmosphere of the restaurant gives the experience a special charm that makes it even more impressive.

The kebab was edible, but unfortunately nothing more, everything inside is very worn and dirty, I would never go there again. The guy who was working there at the time was friendly despite having headphones in his ear.

During our evening visit it was so cold that all four of us kept our jackets on. The staff was very friendly and the food came quickly. We like almost everything. Criticism was handled in an exemplary manner. We will come back when it is warmer.

Very bad, I asked for wasabk and left a good tip and I had barely gotten wasabi when I got home even though I repeated it several times that I needed wasabi

A really very good restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, nice people and good food. Always worth a visit! Also great for celebrations.

Unused kebab skewers are reused here the following day. This is FORBIDDEN according to food hygiene regulations!! I will therefore report this to the food authorities.

Directly with a view of the city park on a spacious terrace, large selection of dishes. Service was good and not easy on the tongue ;) We had a warm appetizer platter with 2 plates, super tasty and really powerful. There was already gyros there. Then my husband had grilled liver with fried onions, which was also delicious!!! Really well seasoned, tender and juicy. I had Asterix senior plate, delicious gyros, I couldn't handle so much meat. Next time it will be enough to have a starter and 1 main course with 2 plates. Super 😋 delicious

Greek food is good here. Food was tasty. Although we had to wait quite a long time. When we entered it was busy and cozy. Later it was very quiet.

We had a larger celebration with a buffet organized there. From planning to further agreements and implementation, everything was perfect. The Ellerhof has a great location with a view over Merzig, a rustic-chic atmosphere, and a really nice terrace that invites you to linger. The boss and his team simply deliver: food, service, atmosphere - simply great and absolutely recommended.

Small hotel - good rooms - very clean - good service - good value for money.
