Die besten Restaurants in Merzig

Since the change of tenant/owner (after Corona), I can no longer recommend it. The portions are so small that you go home hungry, and not so tasty that you want to go back a second time. Unfortunately, I have to give it one star, otherwise I can't give a review. The new tenants deserve zero stars. In my opinion, one of the worst restaurants around here. It's a shame, I used to be a regular customer with four people (before Corona with the "old" tenant/owner).

We have ordered from Janni several times. We are always very satisfied and that is why I am sending this positive review today. The delivery works great, pizza and pasta taste great and the employees who bring the food are very friendly. We can fully recommend Janni as a delivery service😊👍🏻

Unfortunately, card payment is not possible in this restaurant. This is not clearly stated anywhere. an absurdity in today's world and also incomprehensible.

The food was good. A bit expensive, but absolutely fine for the quality. What was a disaster, however, was the service. I've never experienced such unfriendly and unmotivated service in a restaurant. A tip: with the right service, the restaurant would be even more popular. It's a shame. I'd like to come more often, but the service spoils your appetite.

Ordered pizza there for the first time, the pizza was very tasty, but I thought the delivery costs were a bit higher and I ordered peppers as an extra side dish, which was not on the pizza. It's a shame, I hope it works better next time.

I have to say it was an improvement. For a buffet with drinks all included, you can't complain. There was a selection of over 20 drinks. Everything was quickly refilled and everything was warm. Sushi were also very good. Hope it stays that way. Thank you, we'll definitely come back more often.

On the way home from a shopping trip in Lux. The debate was between Italian and Brauhaus MZG? Last time, Brauhaus won. The anticipation on the way was the Lyoner with fried potatoes. What was served was nothing to look forward to. The Lyoner and side dish were as good as ever; but the fried potatoes!!! The portion was disproportionately large, probably the leftovers from lunch. It was 3:00 by now, and prepared, I suspect, in a convection oven. F... dry, not a gram of fat, let alone butter. Three dried-out onion rings and exactly two diced bacon. The whole thing was saved by a small bowl of curry sauce that I ordered with the order. The same thing happened on my wife's plate.
