Subway in Merzig

Went to the subway in Merzig today and ordered and paid for 5 cookies but only received 2 out of 5 cookies! Beautifully ripped off 😡

Whoever came up with the idea of ​​replicating the McDonald's principle with the ordering machines probably hasn't ordered a sub themselves. The very last! Have we forgotten that people can talk to each other? It would be nice if people took a common view, shut down the machines again and resumed the old ordering method with the employees. The waiting time has definitely increased too!

There is often a constant change of staff for whatever reason, the last two were very nice, but the young man with long hair had to do them together - he at least prepares the food.

The only way is through these terminals, much more complicated and uncomfortable, and we're too old for that. Order at the counter was refused.

Apparently a new operator... I wanted to put cucumbers on it but unfortunately I saw that they were already moldy and had hair on them. He then asked him to remove them and he also left the cucumbers in the display. I pointed out the cucumbers to him several times and even asked him to come forward and show him! After 30 minutes, the cucumbers were still not removed It was the last time for us there.

The store is no longer what it used to be. We had to wait a long time before we were even acknowledged. One employee just walks around with his Airpods in his ear and calls his girlfriend on Face Time. The cell phone is obviously on the counter and everyone notices it. At 9:30 there were hardly any cookies left and the employees were slightly overwhelmed when they said we would like to redeem the gourmet block. Had to explain to them how it works. The cleanliness at the counter was also neglected and the vegetables didn't really look appealing. The food was also better and the toppings were very stingy.

The employees have really become so bad. I made my order wrong twice and had to wait over 30 minutes from ordering until it was ready. You don't know which surface is which. Operating the cash register is also apparently difficult. Talking to customers or using simple words like hello is not an option. The tables were also dirty and in the end my order was still not correct. And the last four times we were there the store was closed well before closing time, which was marked with a handwritten note in the door.

Otherwise always a top contact point! Went there twice within 2 weeks and twice there was no bread or only one kind! Something like that shouldn't happen, especially when it's just before rush hour at 6 p.m.!

According to the writing on the door, open until midnight on Fridays...closed at 10:30 p.m. (not for the first time!) Very annoying! Edit: Labeling has been adjusted...now there is also an asterisk.

Store looks modern. Self-service terminal didn't work.

Even after the store reopened, the service wasn't working and there were a lot of side dishes that were missing. The employees are happy to keep customers waiting. All in all not recommended. Unfortunately it's the only shop nearby, otherwise I would change.

0 Sterne von mir. Unglaublich schlechte Bedienung. Ich habe in meinem Leben noch nie so einen. Schlechten Mitarbeiter gesehen. Ich habe eine Halbe stunde für nichts gewartet. Ich wollte einen Gutschein einlösen. Dies hat er nicht akzeptiert. Als ich dann etwas ohne Gutschein Kaufen wollte hat er mich einfach ignoriert. Unhöflichkeit wird bei Ihnen wohl groß geschrieben. Da muss sich was ändern. Ich gehe dort auf jedenfall Nicht mehr hin und werde das auch jedem so weiter erzählen. Einfach nur Respektlos.

Since I live close by, I have experienced all phases of this subway since it opened. A few days ago the staff was (once again) almost completely replaced. The reasons for this can be found out from the employees themselves in discussions. That will probably be the reason that two employees from the India / Bangladesh area are now preparing the sandwiches, which basically doesn't matter if these employees actually spoke German. On top of that, I had to explain to them how a sub is assigned. So staff put there completely untrained, they'll do it somehow. I had to wait 20 minutes for 2 subs even though there was no one in front of me! Within 20 minutes, 5 other customers gathered behind me and the same tragedy could be observed there. The main thing is to install these new ordering machines, which then don't even work properly! The card reader, exactly like that, was broken for weeks ago and it still doesn't work properly! Today's experience was really bad.

I'm a Subway fan. And today I was in the branch in MZG for the first time, which looks very modern. After ordering on the screen, we wanted to sit down until the order was ready. There wasn't a single clean table, even though only 2 tables were occupied, meaning the many free tables hadn't been cleaned after the guests had left. I overheard that a customer who was having a sandwich made right at the counter wanted the same bread as me and was told that it was sold out. I then observed how my sandwich would be prepared and unfortunately discovered that an alternative was being processed that I would not have been informed about if I had not actively asked. I was then just told matter-of-factly that if my choice wasn't available, they should use XY because that was the closest thing. Maybe I would have liked another bread instead? But the employee can't know that because she didn't ask. When I unpacked it, I realized that my bread wasn't cut in half. My daughter's does. I don't know what went wrong... Overall, I had the impression that the two employees were overwhelmed by the relatively low number of customers. An additional force that can clean up or put bread in the oven every now and then would perhaps be a relief. Since I really like Subway, I will definitely go to MZG again. It could have been an isolated case. But it wasn't professional.

Unfortunately, due to the constant change of employees, the quality is not maintained. We always enjoyed coming here to Merzig because the subs were always well filled. However, the ingredients are now just scraped on, as thin as butter on bread (tuna) and the toppings are generally very lean. Extra bacon costs €1.80, previously 5-8 strips were added, today only 2 strips. We won't make the extra journey any more.

The Subway in Merzig is a real recommendation for anyone who appreciates fresh and delicious sandwiches. The service is particularly noteworthy here - the staff is friendly, courteous and works very efficiently. The restaurant itself is surprisingly large and offers a cozy atmosphere that is a pleasure to spend time in. The cleanliness and order that characterize the entire room is particularly pleasant. When it comes to food, Subway in Merzig leaves nothing to be desired: the ingredients are fresh, the bread is baked to perfection, and the sandwiches are put together exactly as desired. Overall, a great experience that we would love to repeat!

Unfortunately, my SUB wasn't really warm because the employee had already taken it out before the doorbell rang. As a result, the cheese didn't flow properly. It also bothered me that I had to put my SUB with the paper on the table. Where are the trays please? The table wasn't clean either. I cleaned it myself, a bit unappetizing. Then an employee came and instead of using a damp cloth, he cleaned the crumbs from the tables and stands. The hygiene leaves a lot to be desired.

It was very clean there, my sandwich came as requested and very quickly. The service was very friendly and helpful. We'd love to come back

Little going on and quick service

The price was described in the old German way: 39.12 DM (20€) for 2 loaves of bread. respect. OK, no one forced me to do it.

I ordered a menu. You can choose several types of bread, but the wholemeal bread is definitely not wholemeal! Unfortunately, around 7 p.m. the food in the bowls was very unsightly and wilted. The green lettuce was already brownish everywhere and the cooked ham was already colored and curled at the edge. I can't imagine if I had used tuna how long it had been was standing. At the checkout you could choose a drink from the fridge from the menu. There was no cup or tablet. Instead there was a soft biscuit. When paying I had to ask whether the price of €14.30 was correct. Very expensive for such a meal!

Everything is great except the food is way too expensive

Friends of the night, it tasted very tasty, but with so little toppings my wife got so mad that I got the whole bad mood. Happy wife = happy life. Very important principle. We will soon be ordering a new Stiftung Warentest from you. Keep going !

Subway ist einfach ein klassiker.. Schmeckt immer.

Sehr sauberes, Qualität der Gerichte ist gut. Direkt vor dem Geschäft stehen Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Das Personal könnte etwas besser gelaunt sein, telefonieren mit Kippe in der Hand direkt vor dem Haupteingang ist eigentlich ein no-go und hinterlässt einen unschönen Beigeschmack.

Subway in Merzig hat mir gut gefallen. Die Sandwiches sind lecker und man kann sie zwischendurch gut essen.

Mein erstes Mal in einem Subway. War angenehm überrascht. Kompetente Beratung, kein Stress und leckeres Essen.

Schönes Restaurant mit guten Parkmöglichkeiten, Die Bedienung erfolgt trotz hohem Besucheraufkommen bisher immer schnell und freundlich.

Katastrophe, geöffnet bis 21:30 Uhr Um 20:00 Uhr keine Cookies mehr da und auch das Brot war schon weggeräumt. Man war auch nicht begeistert das man noch was essen will vor Ort. Salat war stellenweise braun. Absolut nicht was ich bin Subway gewohnt bin. War sehr enttäuschend 😔

Super liebe Angestellten und top Service. Essen ist wie überall gut. Lediglich die Sauberkeit im Gastraum könnte besser sein. Überall Haare Krümel und Dreck.. Ich denke es sollte kein Problem sein zwischendurch mal die Tische und die Bänke zu reinigen. Aber ansonsten super.

Sehr geil... Hier wird noch mirgedacht und die Subs sind immer super. Würde ja ein Bild vom Sub machen aber ich habs schon wieder aufgegessen weils so lecker aussah 😅😅😅😅

Unser erster Besuch in einem Subway überhaupt. Preise finde ich etwas überzogen. Essen ist wie bei allem Geschmackssache, für uns war es jetzt nichts besonderes. Der Laden an sich war sauber, und das Personal sehr nett. Fazit: Für einmal dort zu essen war es okay, müssen aber auch nicht nochmals da hin.

Gehen gerne und oft hier hin. Waren auch immer zufrieden und falls mal nicht wurde sich schnell und nett darum gekümmert. Selten ist etwas ganz ausverkauft und kurz vor Ladenschluss muss man meiner Meinung mach auch nicht erwarten, dass noch das komplette Sortiment da ist.

Nettes und freundliches Personal, manche Mitarbeiter scheinen demotiviert oder hatten vielleicht einfach nur einen schlechten Tag. Es ist halt immer nur eine 'Momentaufnahme', da wir das Wssen meist mitnehmen und eher selten vor Ort essen. Ambiente ist halt typisch Subway-Style: hell und schlicht, aber absolut ok. Essen ok - vielleicht wären bei manchen Lebensmitteln (Schinken/Salami/Putenbrust) Abdeckungen sinnvoll, damit die Ware nicht austrocknet und unappetittlich aussieht. Temperatur der Kühlgeräte könnten angepasst werden, damit ein Teil der Lebensmittel nicht an den Behältern festfriert. Ansonsten waren die Räumlichkeiten und die Theke immer sauber und aufgeräumt, wenn wir vor Ort waren.

Sehr dreckig und mein Essen war kalt

Subway eben... Oft sehr wenig Betrieb dort. Die Speisen sind wie immer super.

Sehr entspannte, nette Mitarbeiter. Man fühlt sich gar nicht gestresst, geht sehr schnell und das Essen ist eh top. Vor allem die veganen Cookies:)

Sehr freundliche Bedienung, man gibt sich hier sehr viel Mühe den Kundenwünschen gerecht zu werden.

War Heute mein erstes Mal im subway. Die Mitarbeiter haben mich top beraten und haben sich die Zeit für mich genommen was nicht selbstverständlich ist in der heutigen zeit... Da war diese eine nette wunderschöne Blondine er hat mir den Kopf verdreht Es war wie liebe auf den ersten Blick. Helfen Sie mir ihn zu finden!!!!!

Das Essen ist gut. Besuche diesen Subway öfter, bis jetzt nie irgendwelche Probleme bezüglich des Essens gehabt. Das Ambiente, naja ist eben klassisch Subway. Der Service könnte manchmal etwas besser sein. Oftmals neue Mitarbeiter welche noch nicht so ganz den Durchblick haben. Service aber im Allgemeinen gut.

Das Essen war wie immer sehr gut. Sehr ordentlich und die 2 Mitarbeiterinnen waren sehr freundlich und haben auch eine rolle ruhige Ausstrahlung gehabt. Man hat sich als Kunde nicht gestresst gefühlt, obwohl einiges an Kundschaft in der Schlange stand. Darum ein großes Lob an die euch beide und danke! Macht weiter so, da kommt man gerne wieder vorbei.

Das Essen war super, die Mitarbeiter freundlich. An Cookies gab es leider keine Auswahlmöglichkeit, entweder mit Schokolinsen oder kein Cookie. Schade! Die Sauberkeit im Lokal ist grenzwertig. Überall Krümel und Dreck ,hier hätte ich nicht essen wollen.
