Great service, but subterranean convenience food (breaded ribs?!), I don't even want to go into detail about the rest, the cole slaw and the fries and my colleague's food. The waitress asked about it (it's just the way of the house) and the girl was really nice and put a fire on the house. Unfortunately, after criticizing and returning the three-quarter plate, the cook - or warmer - didn't show up. If you go to McDonald's after the brewery, something must have gone wrong.

I like to go every now and then. I like the cuisine and their own beers. It's almost always busy there, so it's best to make a reservation. I like atmosphere at this restaurant

A simple yet great place to enjoy time. The outside looks slightly industrial and needs some painting. However after entering we realised that it's a big place with actual beer brewing units which makes it nicer. The attendant was incredibly friendly and helpful and been so through out the afternoon. The beers we had was suggested by the attendant and we loved them. The starter and main courses were really good. Overall a fantastic experience. I will definitely go back when it's slightly warmer to sit outside in the beergarten. Eat and drink here if you are in the region.

Ambiance and service nice/good. Unfortunately, the quality of the food is average. In summer, the beer garden with a delicious Saarfürst Helles is recommended. Parking spaces are very muddy and rare due to a construction site.

I had the spare ribs and the meat was wobbly and cold. The waiter was somehow overwhelmed with the many orders, but she was very nice!

The food was on the table within a few minutes, it could have taken a little longer. Service was subpar. The food was put out, then it took forever until the empty plates were picked up and the question of whether you would like something to drink or perhaps dessert was ignored. You were almost invisible to the waiters. It's a shame, we had only heard positive things beforehand.

I'm no longer satisfied. Otherwise you were served correctly....now it's the third time that I'm left high and dry (with or without accompaniment)...(and I'm talking about 7 to 10 minutes and there was NO OPERATION at 2:30 p.m.) and I have to go to the counter so that I can order something...I'm not coming back!!!!

Rustic like a brewery should be but still modern. The brewery's kettles are easy to see and, if you're lucky, you can even sit close to them. The menu is attractive and easy to manage. Rustic dishes, large portions (and very tasty. Several types of home-brewed beer are available. I would happily recommend the brewery!

I am absolutely thrilled with the Saarfürst Brauhaus! The food is not only extremely tasty, but also beautifully prepared. The portion sizes are generous and more than sufficient. The beer is a real pleasure and rounds off the culinary experience perfectly. I can highly recommend the brewery to everyone and look forward to going there again myself.

The lunch buffet is great, please offer it more often. Many older people perceive only love for you <3

All in all a great evening. Only the service was a bit inattentive. We would definitely have one or two more drinks taken to us.

Unfortunately our experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. The service was extremely unfriendly and very slow. We had to ask for a knife, fork and bread ourselves, even though these should of course be on the table. The starters had no taste. Both Cordon Bleus were very dry, with an extremely greasy breading, and we couldn't find any cheese either. The mushroom sauce tasted like a very bad ready-made sauce and was hardly edible for us. We also weren't asked if we wanted dessert or coffee - which we didn't want, but we could have expected a request. In the end we had to get the bill ourselves at the counter because no one else came to our table. We definitely expected more for €75. Overall a very bad experience......

We were back in the brewery after a long time - but this time it was definitely for the last time. As starters we had gratinated sheep's cheese and breadcrumbs, both of which unfortunately had no taste. The main course was cordon bleu twice with hunter's sauce and fries. The cordon bleu was quite dry, with a greasy breading. The hunter's sauce wasn't particularly tasty, and the cheese in the cordon bleu seemed to have been left in the pan. For €75 I would have expected a lot more - not to mention the service. We had to get the bill at the counter ourselves and pay it there

Very good beers and good service.

These were definitely the worst spare ribs I have ever eaten. They tasted like they came straight from the deep fryer. The service person ignored my complaint. I can't say whether this was ignorance or a lack of language skills.

Das waren definitiv die schlechtesten Spareribs die ich je gegessen habe. Die haben geschmeckt als wären sie direkt aus der Friteuse gekommen. Die Servicekraft hat meine Reklamation ignoriert. Ob dies Ignoranz oder mangelnde Sprachkompetenz war, kann ich nicht sagen.

Today we were shocked to find that the service and the dishes left a lot to be desired. We had to ask several times when our food would come, our twins had to wait a whopping 55 minutes for an inedible children's cheeseburger and a cold, dried-out children's schnitzel. The other dishes weren't much better, wrong side dishes were delivered, cold food, dry and dead fried schnitzel. The service staff were also very rude regardless of each other. Unfortunately, there is no great emphasis on families with children

Best steaks and good beer in years

For 3 out of 6 people, the food was overly seasoned and salty and not edible. Some of the fries were medium brown. The staff was nice but definitely not good service. I really advise against this restaurant.

We have been there a few times and could only recommend the brewery with its cuisine! Unfortunately for us the food leaves more and more to be desired. Chicken breast with bavette: the meat is very dry, but the pasta with tomato sauce is so soupy that the taste is more like packet soup with too much water. My Cordon Bleu was filled with melted cheese instead of the mountain cheese mentioned on the menu, which I didn't find tasty at all as every bite stuck to my teeth. The fries were lukewarm and limp and not really seasoned. No more comparison to earlier times!! But the service staff is quick and friendly. No matter what we have eaten or drunk there so far, it has always been great! But now I can no longer fully recommend it. Too bad!

The food was ok, but I would have preferred dumplings instead of fries for the goulash. Unfortunately, shortly after eating I became so sick that I spent the whole night on the toilet. I don't know whether it was a coincidence or because of the food.

In short: TK food with a (nice) atmosphere. Long: schnitzel, fries, vegetable side dish, burger completely frozen. Only the lettuce leaf and tomato slices are fresh. The portion size is appropriate for the price, but the taste is not convincing. Beer is OK, minimum for a brewery. Ambiance is good! Service nice.

Excellent food, huge portions at a more than good price. Ambience very suitable, cozy. Very pleasant background noise despite the high rooms. Service was very friendly, competent and very, very fast. Got everything within a very short time. Since we hadn't made a reservation but came spontaneously with four people, we had to wait a bit at the bar. But this wasn't a problem as we quickly got a good drink. Waiting time was reasonable for Boxing Day. We will definitely be back and are really looking forward to it. Please keep it up, it feels good to be served like this.

Very pleasant restaurant where you feel like you are in good hands.

We have decided to eat here regularly since our first visit. The ambience is adapted to the brewery style and lives up to expectations. Rustic large bar, pleasant lighting, brewing kettles and pipes complete the overall picture. To eat : So far I've mainly eaten Jägerschnitzel and steak, once a Brauhuas burger. For the schnitzel: For the price you get 2 schnitzels, a side salad and fries. The portion is adequate and filling for good eaters; not too overloaded. In our experience, the schnitzel itself has always been tender and the breading crispy. The sauce with fresh mushrooms and no sauce in terms of taste. The steaks: medium with bacon beans, onions/mushrooms, fries/fried potatoes. There were no complaints about the steaks either, they were always on point. The meat is also left to rest, which is noticeable in the small amount of meat juice that comes out. The steak arrives well seasoned with pepper and salt, but not overly seasoned. The steak is topped with fried onions and fresh fried mushrooms, which prevents the steak from cooling down too quickly. The bacon beans are not cooked soft, but rather firm to the bite. The fries are served with the dishes in mini frying baskets. The Brauhausburger: Unfortunately not the best choice for burger fans. It's a standard burger in a larger version, but unfortunately it doesn't taste anything special. Just a TS burger. About the beer: As a dark beer fan, Black Pearl is absolutely thrilled. It has a slightly malty aroma and is a bit tart. Not a sweet porter, more like Köstritzer. Bright, mild in the finish and drinkable. The red is reminiscent of ale and also has a mild finish. Depending on the season, different beers are offered in addition to the standards, as well as additional dishes that are seasonally adapted. About the service: Always friendly staff, seating is organized even without a reservation. Special dining requests are taken into account. The food is delivered quickly and promptly, with no unreasonably long waiting times. Even when there is a high volume of guests, people ask whether everything is OK, but not in a penetrating, intrusive manner, but at an appropriate distance. Why only 4 stars for service? We have now had 1 experience where our invoice was incorrectly stated. But it was immediately changed and the outstanding amount was returned. The drinks we ordered didn't arrive once and were unfortunately forgotten. But you have to praise the service staff, because when asked, they offered to bring the drink on the house. All in all, a highly recommended restaurant for young and old.

nous avons fini notre périples des marché de noël à Merzig et nous nous sommes posés dans cette magnifique brasserie située le long de la Moselle; nous avions réservé pour éviter de chercher un point de chute. accueil courtois du patron. service rapide et amabilité du personnel au top. bien sur nous avons consommé la bière fabriquée sur place, vraiment très gouteuse! Plats typique d'une brasserie pour ma part j'ai choisi la "goulash" maison que dire de plus si ce n'est que "trop bon" de la viande de très bonne qualité cuite à point et un plat sincèrement pour 2 personnes! j'en ai laissé malheureusement très copieux avec frites et salade complète; la salade au blanc de poulet etait aussi copieuse, franchement jamais vu des salades comme telle dans aucun restaurant français, pas un blanc coupé en lanières...4 blancs! franchement top! bien sur pas de dessert plus de place surtout que nous partions pour le Wolfpark

In addition to delicious home-brewed beer, the brewery in Merzig also offers delicious food. The rump steak and spare ribs are definitely recommended. Due to its size, the atmosphere has something of a train station hall.

The food was good, the service was very attentive.

Seven of us had dinner there this evening, I had schnitzel with fries and a mushroom cream sauce which was charged extra, unfortunately only one of the two schnitzels was edible, fries were just fries and the sauce was much too thick when it was poured out, it fell like a lump. When a complaint was made, it was said that the food (schnitzel) was on the house. When paying, it was charged, another person had the pepper cream sauce, which only saw a fries and was returned as inedible. But even with moderate clearance a chef should be able to prepare a pork schnitzel!. The first and last time

With 7 people Waiters 0 attention sat in front of empty plates for a long time and were not even asked if we would like anything else Ordered rump steak with onions and fried potatoes, so many onions that you couldn't find the steak By fried potatoes I mean something different Fried potatoes should be raw and fried in the pan U no dried out jacket potatoes I had bavette with cherry tomatoes and scampas So much garlic that I couldn't taste anything at all Sparibs are a disaster You can include a salad with some dishes without having to pay We skipped dessert and went somewhere else I'm always happy to be with you I'd rather invite my guests somewhere else next time

The Saarfürst Brauhaus is beautifully located in the Merzig marina area... Good food in a nice atmosphere. The service was very attentive and we didn't have to wait long for drinks and food. The toilet facilities have also been designed to accommodate younger guests, which we also liked.

Highlight of the day: baked potato

Been here on 01/30/22. What more could you want after a walk along the Saar. Very friendly service. Delicious beer (the dark one). Delicious burger (made from 200 grams of the finest meat), with mouth lock function and homemade BBQ sauce. My only complaints are the way it is arranged on a board and the blunt knives.

I like to go to the Merziger Brauhaus very often. There are delicious brewery dishes at moderate prices. Great ambience inside and outside in the beer garden with a view of the marina. The beer garden is currently being expanded. And in two years you will celebrate your 25th birthday. There are still tasty dishes. The goulash soup is excellent and almost fills you up on its own. The schnitzels and pasta dishes were also very tasty. It's just a shame that the pickled herrings are now gone, but carnival will be coming again soon. 😀

Ich kann die ganzen sehr negativen Erfahrungen nicht nachvollziehen. Wir waren an 4 Abenden zum Essen im Brauhaus und wurden jeweils sehr freundlich und engagiert bedient, trotz zum Teil grossen Andrang am Feiertag. Natürlich ist das keine Gourmetküche aber die Qualität und das Preis- , Leistungsvethältnis stimmt. Einzig für Vegetarier könnte es etwas mehr Auswahl geben. Wir haben uns dort willkommen gefühlt.

Delicious schnitzel, friendly service and fast.

The price-performance ratio is still just right. The food is always really good and plentiful. Service very friendly. Give the dog a bowl of water without asking. It's just a shame that delicious knuckles aren't always available

Good food in a cozy atmosphere.

We were there in the early evening without a reservation, but that wasn't a problem. Service was very friendly and accommodating. But what really bothered me was the noise level. We sat down on the side of the restaurant where there was less activity, but the open room design made the noise really annoying. Conversing with the waitress as well as with each other at the table was difficult. The portions of the food were manageable. The ratio of my potatoes to the quark that was served with it was not suitable and the taste of the quark reminded me of a familiar ready-made product. The sauce for my companion's meat also looked like it was based on a ready-made product All in all, we will leave this restaurant behind for a while. It gets worse...but it was much better there

We recently went spontaneously with 4 people and were able to stay without a reservation. The service was very nice, but a bit overwhelmed and took a long time at times and my child was initially ignored when ordering. Nevertheless, the food was very tasty and I will definitely go there again.

Nice atmosphere, prices at the upper limit

When the weather was nice, I didn't know where you could eat better, the food was a dream. The waitresses were always present and very communicative. And when the weather is nice, the terrace is unbeatable. Always happy ❤️

Full marks for this great restaurant. Nice atmosphere with the great beer garden. The food was very tasty and the portions were generous. First class service, very nice and friendly. We can only recommend it.

First of all, if you could give minus stars, I would give them. This has never happened to me before. We were at the brewery at the weekend with a group of around 25 people including children. The order for the drinks was taken quickly. Some drinks arrived after about 10 minutes. But after 30 minutes all the drinks were still not there, including drinks for the children, we asked the staff in a friendly manner and were rudely told off that there was nothing There was also some bonking. But at least half of the drinks were still missing and that at 30 degrees. Nobody came to order food, after 45 minutes we asked again. Why are tables that were occupied after us served with food and drink? The conditions are totally unfriendly: small tables are preferred and children are only human. This audacity made us not eat anything there. We ordered the bill for the drinks that had come and left. I've never experienced anything like this before. You're probably not a welcome guest there in the brewery. Unfriendly, inflexible and totally rude. It's a shame.

We had 1x spare ribs with salad and potato wedges, 1x currywurst with fries, 15 minutes wait until you get attention from the staff. The spare ribs came after 5 minutes while the currywurst came 15 minutes later and the currywurst was inedible, as was the side salad from the spare ribs. You had to talk to the staff for 15 minutes until they took 1 drink off the bill. In addition, the staff seems to be very exhausted and the unfriendly people from the basement only came late rather than never - that's probably a new motto.

Overpriced rude staff not recommended. After waiting for 1 hour we left the restaurant without food.

Unglaublich und unverschämt können wir den Besuch im Brauhaus in Merzig nur beschreiben. Wir waren eine Gruppe von etwa 25 Personen mit Kindern dabei und wollten nach einem Ausflug hier noch etwas zusammen essen und trinken. Es wurden die Getränke aufgenommen und nach einer kurzen Zeit auch serviert ...aber nicht vollständig....einige Erwachsene und Kinder bekamen ihre Getränke nicht...auf Nachfrage kam eine unfreundliche Antwort dass was bestellt ist auch kommt....fragt sich nur wann...nach einer halben Stunde warteten immer noch mehrere auf ihr Getränk....zur Aufnahme der Essensbestellung kam auch niemand mehr...andere Tische die nach uns kamen wurden bedient.....auf weitere Nachfrage nach den fehlenden Getränke und der Essensaufnahme wurde uns sehr unfreundlich mitgeteilt dass kleinere Tische weniger Aufwand wären und schneller bedient werden....auch dass Kinder bei 30 Grad immer noch keine Getränke bekommen haben nach 30 Minuten sagte man: Kinder sind auch nur Leute....das Personal insgesamt sehr unfreundlich......und wirklich keiner von uns allen war unfreundlich oder pampig geworden in dieser Situation ....was man leicht hätte werden können.....wir hatten nach fast einer dreiviertel Stunde keine Lust mehr bezahlten unsere Getränke, die , die welche bekommen haben, und gingen. Sowas ist mir und auch allen anderen so noch nicht passiert....Freundlichkeit. Gastfreundschaft , Kompetenz und Höflichkeit sieht anders aus. Hier ist eine größere Gruppe wohl nicht willkommen.....Nie wieder.....

We had dinner there yesterday on a Sunday with 8 people. Unfortunately it was very disappointing. Two people had a hair on their plate and one person had one of the two schnitzels that wasn't cooked through but was still raw. It wasn't particularly tasty either, I don't know exactly, but the schnitzel was reminiscent of frozen food. Neither the mushroom cream nor the pepper sauce tasted good. Conclusion for us was, once and never again

Terrible, rude service, comprehensive failure to organise the place for Saturday night resulting in utter chaos. Tables competing for the attention of waiting staff that looked petrified to engage the customers, seeking holes I n the ground to swallow them. Never managed to order as incompetent management was more interested in perfecting dismissive hand gestures.

Interior design absolutely harmonious, rustic, hearty. Beer garden also ok, but uncomfortable chairs. Service friendly, does her best. Recommendation: Brewery goulash with fried potatoes. Very tasty, a lot for a reasonable price.

There is very good food in the beer garden in Saarfürst. The home-brewed beer is also tasty. 🍺 I have rarely eaten such a delicious rump steak with fresh champions and onions with fried potatoes and very tasty princess beans. My husband also really enjoyed the brewer's goulash. The portions were barely manageable. However, you have to bring some time with you during peak times. The atmosphere is quite nice in the beer garden and in the inn. Unfortunately the wooden chairs have no cushions and are therefore quite hard outside. The look into the The small marina is nice, but the path to the brewery could be better maintained. That's probably a matter for the city.

After visiting the Garden of the Senses, we wanted to have dinner with 5 people. Even without a reservation, we were quickly offered two tables to choose from. The order was quick and the food didn't take long either. We all enjoyed it. Price performance was top.

Absolut enttäuschendes Essen. Es ist einfach Usus, dass Fleisch nicht in die Fritteuse kommt, und somit keine Schnitzel oder Cordon-bleu. Absolut trocken, hart und die Panade mit Fett getränkt. Ungenießbar! Die Pommes wiederum an der Fritteuse bestimmt vorbei gelaufen. Ich erwarte von einem Brauhause hier bessere Handwerkskunst.

Disastrous cheapest frozen food, I will never do it again as a family to eat there on a Sunday. In a brewery I expect a fresh schnitzel and not such impudence. It's a real shame, the atmosphere could be more, only the waiter was very friendly and unfortunately helpless

Absolutely disappointing food. It is simply common practice that meat does not go into the deep fryer, and therefore no schnitzel or cordon bleu. Absolutely dry, hard and the breading soaked in fat. Inedible! The fries definitely passed the deep fryer. I expect better craftsmanship from a brewery here.
