Small, rustic owner-run pub. Very nice landlady. Moderate drink prices.

On the way home from a shopping trip in Lux. The debate was between Italian and Brauhaus MZG? Last time, Brauhaus won. The anticipation on the way was the Lyoner with fried potatoes. What was served was nothing to look forward to. The Lyoner and side dish were as good as ever; but the fried potatoes!!! The portion was disproportionately large, probably the leftovers from lunch. It was 3:00 by now, and prepared, I suspect, in a convection oven. F... dry, not a gram of fat, let alone butter. Three dried-out onion rings and exactly two diced bacon. The whole thing was saved by a small bowl of curry sauce that I ordered with the order. The same thing happened on my wife's plate. I think something needs to change in her kitchen, or maybe replace the fried potato maker. On the next trip home, with 100% Italian food. !!! Little Week. Br. from St. Fr. Lac. (F)

Very close to train and bus station. Good, rich breakfast and also a recommended restaurant Nice rooms, good service. And there are also special menus from time to time for seasonal occasions. Like now, for example, an interesting asparagus menu. I will definitely use it this week. There are also wine or whiskey tastings every now and then, which are often sold out. So reserve early. :-)

Since the change of tenant/owner (after Corona), I can no longer recommend it. The portions are so small that you go home hungry, and not so tasty that you want to go back a second time. Unfortunately, I have to give it one star, otherwise I can't give a review. The new tenants deserve zero stars. In my opinion, one of the worst restaurants around here. It's a shame, I used to be a regular customer with four people (before Corona with the "old" tenant/owner).
