Very good atmosphere and extremely cozy. The map is small but very nice. That's how it has to be. Service is very attentive. Gladly again.

Big compliments to this restaurant. The very pleasant service, the return to authentic Italian cuisine and the enormous selection of high-quality wines convinced us to come back. Fantastic culinary journey.

This lovely restaurant is a real gem in the Palatinate and has long since become our favorite restaurant. Yesterday, November 28th, 2024, it was that time again: Depending on the time of year, we sat in the beautifully furnished interior with a relaxing atmosphere (in summer we prefer the spacious outdoor terrace with its Mediterranean flair, protected from rain and wind). Piers, the owner, greets every guest warmly and personally. As always, the food left nothing to be desired. My starter, an Insalata mista, consisted of market-fresh ingredients, deliciously prepared with a good dressing. This time my wife and I ordered the Tagliatelle spinaci e salmone for the main course - accompanied by good wine and beer - a perfectly balanced taste experience with delicious al dente salmon and pasta in a creamy cream/tomato sauce - the whole thing is also a visual treat ! The Sicilian-prepared Maccheroncini alla Norma, which we ordered on one of our previous visits, is also a real treat thanks to the homemade pasta. In addition to the seasonal daily specials, the delicious pinse, including the Pinsa Vegetaria, are highly recommended. The new chef who has been here recently is doing a great job. Despite the generous portions of the starter and main course, I didn't miss the opportunity to order homemade tiramisu for dessert yesterday, as I often do. This is truly a top performance from the kitchen; nowhere else have I eaten tiramisu that is so well prepared. Even my wife, who initially wanted to forgo dessert, couldn't resist the temptation of the discreetly added second spoonful. We thought we had rounded off the wonderful and very atmospheric evening with perfect, genuine Italian espressos, but we were far from it: Piers invited us to a digestif of our choice. Finally, we should not forget to mention the very friendly, attentive, but never intrusive service from Piers and his service team. A big thank you to the Il Gusto team for a lovely evening!

Very nicely located restaurant with a wonderful view. The food and drinks were delicious and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Price/performance are in my opinion. in a good relationship, the restaurant is close to the center, our room was clean and equipped with the most necessary things. And even though there may be even nicer places: I was impressed by the friendliness and excellent service of Mr. Neuner and his team. The boss was always there not only with advice and answers, but also fulfilled our small and large wishes at all times (whether it was just two spoons with the ice cream we brought with us in the evening or the lovingly prepared snack at 7 a.m. because of an early departure. Feel-good factor because service is very important! Mr. Neuner is also currently busy building the restaurant, so I'm sure there will probably be a lot of new surprises in the rooms in the near future. 🙂 Thanks to the team!
