Baecheleck in Sankt Martin

Rather inconspicuous from the outside, the restaurant surprises with a modern and spacious interior. The menu is well-stocked and, in addition to the local classics, there are also one or two dishes that are not available everywhere. The quality and taste of the dishes are convincing. The staff is attentive but not intrusive, which is very pleasant.

We were there again after almost two years. The food was very good as always, the service as always very friendly and accommodating. The ambience is convincing and the prices are right. Even after many years, we are still impressed by the Baecheleck and always come back there.

Today we were guests at Bächeleck for the first time, but definitely not the last time. It was very tasty, the trip from the Hinterpfalz was so worth it.😁🤗

Very good food, great service, prices are always right

Very tasty boiled beef with a delicious horseradish sauce was served to me by the friendly staff. In the summer there is certainly a great atmosphere outside (we weren't inside). Now in autumn - like everywhere else - everything is a little grayer. But there are enough cozy blankets available.

Nice little restaurant, probably due to the lack of staff the service unfortunately didn't understand what we wanted. The food was simple but good.

We ate here today, like every year. The food was delicious as always but the portions get smaller every year and the prices go up. The tagliatelle with salmon for around €21 was a very small portion. The plate was more of a bowl. After the complaint, the waiter deducted €3 from the bill. Why not just reasonable prices or portions. Too bad.

Good food but unfortunately the service was quite slow and inattentive.

It had to be quick, so we used the recommendation of a fellow winemaker and took a look. We were warmly welcomed and given a table right next to the bar. Ordered drinks and food quickly. Drinks were served promptly and we waited around 40 minutes for the food. So everything within a reasonable time frame. Tasteful, good home cooking. Our expectations have been fulfilled.

+ Very cozy atmosphere. - Food took a very long time, 1-1.5 hours, until the starters and main courses came +/- Most of the food was very tasty, e.g. the rump steak that was ordered medium was, however, rather well done and medium as ordered - Dishes quite expensive

Restaurant with various dishes, open at lunchtime. Service was ok, portion size was still ok. Cola tastes very sweet.

Classic Palatinate cuisine can be highly recommended

A cozy inn with very good quality home-style cooking. We liked it and would like to come back if we are ever in the area again.

We have eaten here a few times and have always been completely satisfied - and that was the case again today. The beef liver with fried potatoes was excellent.

Der kleinste, schlechteste Apfelstrudel, den ich je gegessen habe. Wäre das Stück noch schmaler geschnitten worden, hätte es wahrscheinlich nicht mehr Strudel heißen dürfen. So bekommt man vom Convenience-Strudel halt die doppelte Menge verkauft… für 8,50€ pro Stückchen mit einer Kugel Eis und nem Klecks Sprühsahne. Unverschämt!

Normales durchschnittliches Essen. Ist okay. Aber nicht so das man sagen muss da muss ich öfters hin. Wie schön die Bewertung sagt 3 Punkte sind okay.

Cozy terrace, good food and good atmosphere!

No matter whether in the restaurant in winter or outdoors in summer - the Baecheleck is always worth a visit. The food is always very tasty and beautifully prepared. The choice of drinks, alcoholic or non-alcoholic, is also impressive. From the reception to the farewell you are only confronted with friendliness.

Very nice, attentive staff, delicious tarte flambée and salads, prompt service even when the terrace is full At our request the awning was also extended. We recommend. The only drawback in Sankt Martin is the somewhat chaotic traffic and parking situation. But that has nothing to do with the restaurant.

I have been to the Palatinate many times, especially to St. Martin. On our tour through the southern wine route, we stopped back in Bächeleck. Once again, I and my followers were completely thrilled. From the ambience to the friendly service to the dishes. The ox shreds!!! a dream. Anyone who doesn't stop here has missed something.

Were in the covered beer garden. Was pleasantly warm. Food was okay too.

Super delicious food & good wine. The waiters make everything possible, everything inside was actually full, then an extra room was opened up so that we could sit inside, even though it had already been prepared for an event. Excellent!

We were visiting St. Martin for 2 nights and actually wanted to try 2 different restaurants. After we liked it so much on our first evening, we decided to eat here a second time. We were warmly welcomed and looked after here and felt very comfortable here and of course ate very well. My 14-month-old daughter also received a warm welcome and had fun :) Thank you for the two lovely and cozy evenings with you!

We ate here twice a week ago during our short stay in St. Martin. Very nice atmosphere, very good food and very friendly service. Above all, we were impressed by the warmth and the fact that the needs of even the smallest guests are taken into account. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend it!

Arriving a few minutes before 21:00 was already too late for dinner... The kitchen was closed and we were sent away. This place advertises being open until 22:00. What a joke!

Friendly welcome, good service. Good wines from the area, regional food, delicious shandy, everything your heart desires. It's worth taking a look. Asparagus cream soup was delicious.

Das Restaurant Bächeleck liegt sehr zentral im wunderschönen Weinort St. Martin. Wir hatten reserviert, wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und zum Tisch gebracht. In der Weinkarte gibt es eine überschaubare aber mit guten Weinen aus der Region bestückte Auswahl. Wir denken auch, dass es in der Speisekarte für jeden was zu entdecken gibt. Vegetarische Gerichte, wie auch Fisch, Fleisch, Geflügel, Wild, eine bunte Auswahl an Salatvariationen und eine gute Auswahl an Dessertvariationen runden den sehr positiven Gesamteindruck ab. Der Service war aufmerksam und jederzeit freundlich. Fazit: sehr empfehlenswert.

The Bächeleck restaurant is centrally located in the beautiful wine town of St. Martin. We made a reservation, were greeted very friendly and shown to the table. The wine list has a manageable selection of good wines from the region. We also think that there is something for everyone on the menu. Vegetarian dishes, as well as fish, meat, poultry, game, a colorful selection of salad variations and a good selection of dessert variations complete the very positive overall impression. The service was attentive and friendly at all times. Conclusion: highly recommended.

The restaurant was recommended to us and we were not disappointed. The food (I had the liver) was very tasty, the liver was tender as butter. The fries were extremely crispy and deliciously seasoned. The dressing on the mixed salad was delicious, everything was beautifully presented We can only recommend this restaurant.

Wir haben unsere diesjährige Weihnachtsfeier im Bächeleck ausgerichtet. Es war alles perfekt. Ohne ausdrücklichen Wunsch wurde der Tisch schön dekoriert und die Präsente fanden ebenfalls Platz. Das Essen war traumhaft und trotz vorgerückter Stunde bekamen wir weiterhin Getränke serviert. Vielen Dank und gerne wieder!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend mit tollem Service. Wir haben die Gänsekeule bestellt und fanden das Essen super. Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder um auch die anderen Essen die auf der Karte stehen zu genießen. Daumen hoch. Das Restaurant und der Service sind auf jedenfall weiter zu empfehlen.

Essen sehr lecker und das Servicepersonal ist total freundlich. So stellt man sich eine gutes Restaurant vor. Die Leberknödel waren absolut top und gratuliere zu Eurer super tollen Bratensoße.

Sehr gemütliche Einrichtung wo für meinen Geschmack Alte Baukunst mit moderner Art gut kombiniert wurde. Das Essen war auch sehr sehr lecker und mit liebe zubereitet und angerichtet. Würde gerne wieder vorbei kommen wenn ich in der Nähe bin.

Gegessen haben wir leider nichts, Aber der Rest war klasse.

Wir waren heute Mittag zum Essen im Bächeleck und haben von der Wochenkarte, die preislich nicht ausgezeichnet war, eine Gänsekeule mit Beilage gegessen...der Preis lag schockierend hoch bei 35,90€ für 1 Portion! Sorry aber das ist unverschämt! Der Einkaufspreis sei auf Rückfrage so teuer. Das können wir nicht nachvollziehen, zumal die Knödel viel zu klein waren. Sehr Schade.

Wir waren mit Freunden dort und haben sehr lecker gegessen das Restaurant können wir nur weiterempfehlen

Update: 28.10.23 eine heiße Liebe mit 2 Kugeln Eis für 6,90 Euro ist leider sehr teuer. Faire Preise. Lecker essen und freundlich

Recht schmackhafte Speisen zu vernünftigen Preisen. Das Restaurant ist stets sehr gut besucht; eine Reservierung ist angezeigt. Die Wirtin tritt recht rustikal auf. Damit kann man aber leben.

Soooo lecker, wir wurden spontan aufgenommen, konnten uns zu zweit nicht entscheiden, was wir essen. Die liebe Bedienung hat uns dann angeboten, beide Gerichte hintereinander mit einem "Räuberteller" zu bestellen. hervorragend. Die Weinberatung war super und der sensationelle Koch kam am Ende nochmal vorbei, um uns das Rezept der tollsten Soße zu Fisch zu erklären.. Sehr, sehr, sehr zu empfehlen

Perfect place to relax with a wine and good food

Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt und auch das Ambiente ist in Ordnung. Die Abwertung auf null Sterne ist begründet dadurch, dass wir permanent von Horden von Fruchtfliegen umschwärmt waren.

Seit vielen Jahren besuchen wir den schönen Weinort Sankt Martin und genießen jedes Mal die frisch gegrillten Gerichte im Bächeleck. Hier stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm und die Stimmung innerhalb des Teams ( Familienbetrieb ) hervorragend. Bedienung nur durchschnittlich freundlich. Ambiente noch im Bezug auf Preis/Leistung gibt es deutlich schöneres.

Super Atmosphäre und ganz professionnelles Personal. Die Ochsenfetzen waren besonders lecker, kann ich nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Wer in St. Martin ein authentisches Lokal mit ortsüblichen Speisen sucht, ist hier falsch. Das Essen ist zwar OK - aber auch nicht anders als der Jugoslawe um die Ecke, der sich an ortsüblichen Leberknödeln versucht. Macht im Weinort Werbung mit "Bier vom Fass" ...
