Nettes gemütliches Lokal mit Außenbereich unter Weinreben. Übersichtliche Speisekarte, für jeden Geschmack. Unser Essen war sehr lecker. Obwohl Seniorenteller war es sehr reichlich. Service freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es lohnt sich auf einen Besuch allemal.

Der Gastraum ist urig. Im Lokal hat es jedoch stark nach Zigarettenrauch gerochen, mein Mann wollte trotzdem bleiben. Der Service war korrekt und das Essen kam schnell. Als super lecker würde ich es nicht bezeichnen, eher Durchschnitt und für mich nicht unbedingt wiederholungsbedürftig.

Wir haben uns direkt sehr wohl gefühlt „in der guten Stube“ und das Essen war sehr lecker und hoch-qualitativ! Wir kommen schon bald wieder. Danke 🙏🏼

Im Krabbenescht ist die Küche einfach hervorragend. Der Wirt ist immer sehr freundlich. Jedes Jahr kommen wir nach St. Martin und jedes Jahr ist ein Besuch im Krabbenescht selbstverständlich. Manchmal sind es sogar zwei Besuche in einer Woche. Wir sind noch nie enttäuscht worden.

While looking for a restaurant, we paid a visit to Krabbennescht based on the great reviews and were not disappointed. A wonderfully cozy wine bar with German/Croatian delicacies. To enter the restaurant, you pass through a pleasant covered courtyard. Unfortunately, all the seats were already taken because we had reserved too late. The timber-framed interior creates a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Our Croatian meal was delicious. There is also a good selection of wines from various local wineries. The service is attentive and fast. What more could you want? We'd love to come back if we're in the area.

It looks very nice from the outside. Unfortunately, the company's holiday season isn't clearly communicated; we stood in front of a closed restaurant for several days, and the sign simply said "Closing Day."

We spontaneously arrived on a Sunday while on vacation without a reservation, but the service was still friendly and delicious. The food was good and, for St. Martin, absolutely reasonable value.

Unfortunately, the restaurant has deteriorated considerably! Meat skewers, neck chops, side salad, mostly green leaf salad with cheap dressing!

A nice restaurant offering both Croatian and Palatinate cuisine. The far more appealing part of the restaurant is the covered outdoor area—it's worth mentioning when making a reservation. Everything served was fresh and delicious. The service is very attentive and pleasant. We'd be happy to come back.

Restaurant with Croatian specialties We were here for lunch on Saturday. The food was served after about 20 minutes. We had chevapcici and pescavicha. Both were delicious, although they were made with pork and not the usual beef. The side salad and fries were OK, but the djuvech rice was unfortunately mush. The service was friendly but unhelpful with information. The restaurant does not accept credit cards!!! Unacceptable these days! Affordable solutions like SumUp are available.

Very good Croatian restaurant with a friendly owner. Despite the large number of visitors, our food came very quickly and everything was on point. We were a larger group and got two starter platters on the house, which unfortunately I didn't take photos of. But they were also very good. Anyone who likes grilled food will love Croatian cuisine.

The wine bar is very cozy, everything inside and outside is decorated with great taste. At this time of year there are heaters in the sheltered courtyard/terrace. The ambience is right. The food is German/Croatian, rich and delicious. We had schnitzel and a Croatian dish with skewers, everything was fresh and cooked just right. There is a good selection of wines from different winemakers. It was our first time there and we would love to come back.

We came to the wine route in September with a couple of friends to go hiking. We were able to enjoy the hospitality and cuisine in this rustic restaurant. From the greeting from the kitchen to the main courses to the delicious breakfast the next morning, everything was perfect. The owners and conditions were very helpful and we felt very comfortable. We would definitely go there again.

Yesterday we had dinner at Krabbenescht St. Martin. The portions were large and, something you see less and less today, the dishes included a side salad. The whole thing for under 20 euros. The service was very friendly and the schnapps afterwards was also free. A big compliment. Keep it up, we would be happy to come back to you again.

We go to the crab nest regularly, several times a year. The service is very good and warm and the food, whether Croatian or German, is very good and plentiful. The rump steak is more than recommended. We always enjoy coming here. You should definitely make a reservation. Unfortunately I can only give 5 stars, I would like to give more. The rump steak today was a dream. And ate again at Krabbenescht on October 29, 2024, the Block House Steak of 300 gr. was great again. And also the Cordon Bleu. Look at the pictures.

Restaurant with Balkan cuisine. Food quite good, portions very large. Service was very good, reservation recommended. Outdoor area covered. Karlsberg Pils is quite bitter.

Einen Tag vorher Tisch für den nächsten Abend reserviert. Hat gut geklappt. Dann die Riesenenttäuschung! Bestellung aufgegeben, Getränke bekommen, dann über 1 Stunde auf das Essen gewartet. Nachdem 6 Gäste am Nebentisch, welche deutlich später erschienen waren, alle schon ihren Salat bekamen, sind wir schließlich gegangen. An einem anderen Nebentisch saß in bester Unterhaltung mit weiteren Gästen vermutlich der Chef oder Betreiber des Restaurants. Ihm haben wir Bescheid gegeben, dass wir jetzt gehen, war ihm egal- es kam nur ein "ok", keine Entschuldigung oder Sonstiges! Traurig- schließlich würde man einiges an Geld liegenlassen. Scheinbar ist das nicht nötig. Hätten gern das von anderen gelobte Essen probiert. Nun bleibt nur eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung in Sankt Martin.

As locals, we really enjoy eating out here with the family for birthdays, for example. The food and service are always excellent and fair. Unfortunately it's too meat-heavy for my taste, so a star deduction. The vegetarian selection can be counted on one hand, but the only option for vegan options is fries with ketchup. If that doesn't bother you, go for it! With larger groups there were also one or two appetizer platters from the house. This has always been a highlight, you could eat your fill of it alone. The outdoor area is now glazed and heated with mushrooms. Very nicely done-

What a lovely experience in this restaurant. Friendly welcome and great food, wine and beer. The owner is originally from Croatia and we had such a lovely evening...even when we realised that our bank card wasn't accepted, he was very patient while my guy walked to the nearest ATM to get cash. When we said it had been my birthday he gave us a complimentary bottle of the Riesling wine and THEN went and hot his guitar and sang Happy Birthday to me!!! A birthday evening I will treasure!!
