Simply a poem, highly recommended

Restaurant with Balkan cuisine. Food quite good, portions very large. Service was very good, reservation recommended. Outdoor area covered. Karlsberg Pils is quite bitter.

As locals, we really enjoy eating out here with the family for birthdays, for example. The food and service are always excellent and fair. Unfortunately it's too meat-heavy for my taste, so a star deduction. The vegetarian selection can be counted on one hand, but the only option for vegan options is fries with ketchup. If that doesn't bother you, go for it! With larger groups there were also one or two appetizer platters from the house. This has always been a highlight, you could eat your fill of it alone. The outdoor area is now glazed and heated with mushrooms. Very nicely done-

Super nice hospitality and good food

What a lovely experience in this restaurant. Friendly welcome and great food, wine and beer. The owner is originally from Croatia and we had such a lovely evening...even when we realised that our bank card wasn't accepted, he was very patient while my guy walked to the nearest ATM to get cash. When we said it had been my birthday he gave us a complimentary bottle of the Riesling wine and THEN went and hot his guitar and sang Happy Birthday to me!!! A birthday evening I will treasure!!

There are very tasty things to eat here. Friendly. The yard is completely covered and heated. The cordon blue with mushroom cream is simply good.

Very great restaurant with very tasty cuisine. A great host who is always nice and accommodating. The prices are fair and reasonable. The portions are generous and the food is delicious and beautifully prepared. We come to St. Martin 2-3 times a year for a short trip and a visit Crab nest is now a must for us! This is (for us) a place to feel good! We wanted a glass of wine before we wanted to cook ourselves - and then it was so homely and pleasant (and smelled so good!) that we stayed. I don't know what they call the cuisine today, when I was a student we said we were going to 'Yugoslav'. Balkan cuisine? No idea, important: it tasted good! In addition, Palatinate cuisine, schnitzel and beautiful wines. In between, a serenade from the host himself (with guitar) for a guest's birthday. We like the store!

Wir waren zum erstenmal dort und wurden nicht enttäuscht. 4 verschiedene Gerichte und alles sehr lecker. Die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam. Wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder.

Zum wiederholten Male im Krabbenescht gewesen und wieder komplett wohl gefühlt. Phantastisches, kroatisches und pfälzisches Essen, super regionale Weine und ein tolles Ambiente machen das Krabbenescht zu einem absoluten Muss bei einem Besuch in St. Martin. Tintenfisch mit Spinat-Kartoffeln und der Grillteller waren, wie immer, sehr lecker. Küche, Service, Gastgeber 5 Sterne+ Wir kommen gerne wieder, bis zum nächsten Mal.

Die Bedienung war stehts sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Getränke waren schnell am Platz. Preislich vollkommen in Ordnung die Speisen hatten eine gute Qualität. Ich persönlich würde mir mehr vegetarische Gerichte wünschen.

Köstlich auch mein Hund wir sehr gut willkommen. Geheissen und mit Wasser bewirtet einfach ein Genuss intersantes Ambiente und endlich ein mal hier im Ort, nicht so viel Tische sondern klein Aber fein hier ist man. Einfach noch ein Mensch der wirklich wie auch in der Martinustube als der, Mensch willkommen, und sehr liebevoll freundlich bewirtet, wird mit köstlichen zubereiteten Speisen reichlich sehr schoen garniert es ist sehr gemütlich und, das was man unter guter Gastlichkeit mit gut schmeckenden Speisen rund um. Sehr zufrieden im kleinen, ruhigen, vollkommen. Entspannen ausruhen einkehren genießen eben Leib und Seele zusammen halten sich sammeln mit Kraft und Freude, wieder gut gestärkt, zu neuen Ufern ziehen,

Wir sind oft und gerne dort. Service ist absolut super und das Essen ebenso. Und erst die Herzlichkeit und das Ambiente 👍👍👍👍👍 Wenn wir gemütlich und wie im Urlaub einen Abend verbringen möchten, gehen wir ins Krabbenescht nach St Martin.

Das Essen war sehr gut, der Wein könnte etwas besser sein. Die Wirtsleute sehr aufmerksam. Dank meiner "Freundin" Denise Viertel, gab es noch eine Überraschung.
