First the positive: Food was great, even if fish isn't for everyone... Breakfast was great Rooms were very clean and modern (facing the street, a bit noisy)... Wellness area clean, but small (if the hotel is full, this may be a problem) and the opening times are no longer up to date... But, the gentleman at the reception (assuming he's the owner) is pretty stubborn/scratchy....he should work on his manner a bit!! Conclusion, if you like to eat well and the wellness area is not that important, good hotel!

Ordered online, delivery time was stated as 40 minutes - it took 2.5 hours. Fries were cold, unseasoned and soggy. One of two pizza breads was incorrectly filled despite an entry in the order. Both pizza breads were unseasoned, burnt and dry. Wrong dip delivered with the fries. Salad was watery and didn't taste like anything.

Enjoy your meal. Finally a schnitzel that is freshly prepared. Big portion. Friendly service. Nice to sit in front of the train tracks, but not too loud.

Nettes, recht großes griechisches Restaurant im Zentrum von Kandel. Es gibt Innen- und Außenplätze. Die Speisekarte ist recht groß und enthält alle bekannten griechischen Köstlichkeiten. Die Preise liegen eher im oberen Bereich der Mitteklasse. Allerdings gibt es auch eine Tageskarte mit Gerichten zwischen 10,00 und 15,00 €. Hieraus wählten auch wir unsere griechischen Teller (Gyros, Souvlaki und Suzuki mit Beilagen); incl. Getränke zahlten wir hierfür knapp 35,00 €. Die Gerichte schmeckten einwandfrei und waren auch mengenmäßig gut bemessen. Bedient wurden wir rasch und sehr freundlich. Einziger Kritikpunkt - die Bezahlung! Erst nach nochmaliger Bitte wurde uns die Rechnung gestellt. Leider eine Sache, die wir auch in anderen Lokalen in letzter Zeit öfter schon erleben mussten! Trotzdem - das Restaurant kann ohne Wenn und Aber weiter empfohlen werden.

I ordered lamb and got chicken with pineapple. When I complained I was told there was no lamb left and couldn't make that dish, but we could make another dish with lamb (which was more expensive). I didn't fully understand that!???? My wife had a grill plate that also had lamb on it. All of the grilled meat on it was completely dry, and the vegetables it was on were burnt. The grill plate was tasteless and without salt. When I got my replacement dish later, my wife was almost finished and the rice was cold. The service from the young lady was very friendly. Outdoor areas should have more light in the evening. The food was not satisfactory.

Very tasty food at fair prices. Friendly staff. You should know that the restaurant only takes cash. Nice pictures on the right. Unfortunately it is on the main street so it can be noisy at times.

Still cheap, original Palatinate food, we always like to go there. Also highly recommended for families. With a large playground. Simply awesome, great!!!!!

The taste is 0815 Prices like in a 5 star restaurant A water for 4 euros, a kebab box 10 euros for a handful of fries and a handful of meat Here you are being ripped off from top to bottom and if you get the food delivered to the same location you will be charged another delivery fee And best of all, you should have to pay 23 euros and give 25 euros because it doesn't fit, the money will be pocketed the same way and viewed as a tip. It simply doesn't get any more brazen than that, with such poor quality prices, to calculate your own tip without saying a word . Never order there again

Called the same evening to make a reservation, which assured us we would get a spot. When we arrived after a 30-minute journey, no one cared about how they could help us. After someone finally felt addressed by the service, I was informed that reservations would only be accepted for groups of 10 or more people. When I pointed out that this should also be communicated to the employees who take the calls, they were simply left standing in the middle of the conversation. Not only do the staff not have the ability to communicate as a team, they also don't know how to behave towards customers. Never again!
