Very good pizzeria in SÜW Kandel. We had various starters, pizza, pasta and parmesan schnitzel. Everything was delicious and huge portions!

Pizzas are great but a little expensive.

Restaurant was fully booked then it was very noisy

Was my first time here. The restaurant looks chic, the staff is also nice and friendly, but could be a little more attentive (it was busy though, so I don't blame them). The food there is actually very tasty, but I was brought the wrong dish, which still tasted good. For the price you got a decent portion and it filled you up.

The pizza is a real dream and the service was a bit slow and had to be addressed several times

Pizza, pasta with porcini mushroom sauce, schnitzel with white wine sauce were delicious and enjoyed by everyone The tiramisu was also delicious, but too “light” for me (made with whipped cream/no mascarpone and without the flavoring agent Amaretto or similar)

We have been regular guests at Da Salvatore for several years and have been more than satisfied every time! ☺️ The food is always very good and freshly prepared. We have already tried the menu up and down within the family and look forward to the specialties of the monthly menu as well as familiar things every time we visit. The service is great, the food comes at the same time and the employees are always friendly and attentive! Even if the restaurant is regularly fully booked. Small recommendation: be sure to reserve! If we can't get a seat because we decide too quickly, we'll happily drive 20km to get a pizza.☺️ It's more than worth it! We look forward to all further visits!

Der Service ist unterirdisch, unpersönlich, teilweise unhöflich. Telefonisch erreicht man zu den Öffnungszeiten auch in Randzeiten niemanden. Das Essen schafft es dann auch nicht eine darüber hinwegsehen zu lassen. Nudelgerichte sind Massenware, die Pizza gehört tatsächlich zu den Besseren. Zu einem Restaurant gehört eben auch Service und den vermisst man hier.

Unfortunately the pizza wasn't cooked through (the base was very light, the cheese wasn't completely melted). Waiting times are okay, but they regularly take over with orders, which delays the process. High star ratings could have arisen due to the lack of competition. The ambience is really good, but people passing by are annoying. At least we'll eat pizza somewhere else next time.

We go to Salvatore's regularly (not to mention quite often) :) Whether pizza, salad, pasta dishes, veal schnitzel in white wine sauce or the super tender beef steaks, and everything else that we have eaten at Salvatore, everything is always delicious! The whole team is friendly, attentive and very quick. You never wait long for the drinks or the food. And the prices are absolutely right. The price/performance ratio is right here 👍 We are already looking forward to summer when we can sit outside again. Then we will come more often!

Wir haben hier die beste Pizza seit kangem gegessen. Der Boden soooo fluffig, der Geschmack der Pizza einfach nur perfekt. Die Pizza waren sehr groß! Das Ambiente sehr schön. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

This was my second time eating here in just a few weeks. As a starter we had bruschetta. This was very tasty, although there was a bit too much oil for my personal taste. For the main course we had a pizza (which was very large and very tasty). Also a schnitzel with gravy and potatoes. (also highly recommended) For dessert we ate the Nutella pizza (eg according to the menu with hazelnut - we didn't have any on it, but we don't have to be more papal than the Pope ;) ). This was also super tasty. 2 points deducted due to service!! We were greeted very warmly when we were greeted. A lady brought us a menu straight away and asked what we wanted to drink. We told her that we would like to take a look first. Unfortunately, judging by the look on his face, that didn't go down so well. We had the starter for maybe 5 minutes before the main courses were brought - a shame, as we wanted to eat comfortably and not everything at once... but good - you can ignore it here too. However, there was no apology or a “did you perhaps want to wait a little longer?” I would have expected that for this price range. Especially if you explicitly order an appetizer. After eating we were asked if everything was okay and we had the leftovers packed up. Unfortunately, we never saw anyone again after that. We had to actively ask the waitress (after probably a good 45 minutes) whether we could have another card. The drinks were brought to us including dessert. After a good hour (it was now after 10 p.m.) the employees started to call it a day. Everything inside was set up - no one came to the table again and we sat in front of empty glasses/plates for at least 30 minutes. Here too we had to actively ask for someone to come and for us to pay. We wanted to pay by card. This is where the challenge began. The reception of the device was so bad that the process was aborted at least 10 times. Communication with us is 0!!!! They just kept saying “it doesn’t work”. At some point we also asked what the error message was. They couldn't or wouldn't (?) answer that for us. Only when we suggested going in was it complied with. Even when we gave a tip, there wasn't even a thank you. Yes, okay, I understand if it's late and you'd like to call it a day. But it can't be that you simply stop offering service! A thank you should also be standard. The previous time the gentlemen ate together at the table. Absolutely no problem if you go to the tables again beforehand and ask if everything is okay! People are also welcome to call out the “last round” politely. Everything is possible and would be understandable, especially during the week. Due to this. Eat good. Unfortunately service can be improved greatly!!!!

We spontaneously went to this restaurant for the first time and were pretty much treated there. The pizza wasn't even fully cooked yet, you had the feeling all the time that you weren't wanted and that the staff would prefer you to stuff it in quickly and then leave. The food isn't really great either. A pity...

Food was good, although the Serrano was a bit too salty. Delicious honey mustard dressing, just not enough on the salad. Pizzas are more than adequately sized and well topped. We wanted a cappuccino at the end, the staff walked past us a few times without paying attention to us until we unfortunately had to call. I didn't like the rows of tables, but space has to be used.

Wow! This was once again a restaurant experience that I haven't had in a long time. Attentive staff, from greeting to ordering to payment. Modernly furnished dining room that still exudes a lot of charm. The menu is not too big, but still offers enough choice so that there is something for everyone. Very fair prices (large pizza for 11-13€, side salad for 5€), solid wine list and fast service despite the full restaurant. I rarely have anything to complain about in a restaurant, but here everything was on point. The pizza is by far the best available in the area. Molto Buono!

Als ich mal das Da Salvatore besuchen wollte wurde ich vom Ladenbesitzer abgewiesen und ein wenn ich schätzen müsste ein 15 Jähriger Junge hat mich von der Seite angelagert was ich den hir mache und warum ich kein Sitzplatz hatte diese Aktion fand ich sehr inakzeptabel dieser dreckige Junge ich hoffe er verliert seine knie Scheiben Frohes Neues außer an dieses dreckige Kind

Wir haben sehr gut gegessen. Service könnte etwas freundlicher sein, Ambiente sollte freundlicher gestaltet werden.

Auf dem Rückweg aus Italien kamen wir an einem Samstag Abend ausgehungert hier vorbei. Trotz vollem Haus, wurde uns kurzerhand ein freier Tisch gezaubert und wir konnten extrem leckere Pizzen bei super schnellem und freundlichen Service genießen. Ein wundervoller Stopp und absolut empfehlenswert.

Auf unserem Heimweg aus Italien musste der Urlaubsabschluss natürlich mit Pizza erfolgen. Obwohl das Restaurant bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt war, konnten wir dank netter Gäste und sehr bemühten Mitarbeitern einen Platz für 3 finden und eine richtig leckere Pizza genießen. Pizza mit lockerem Boden, üppig belegt und schon die kleine zu groß, eben wie man sich eine Pizza vorstellt. Danke für den schönen Urlaubsausklang!

Der beste Italiener bei dem ich je gegessen habe. Ich liebe die Meeresfrüchtepizza, den italienischen Salat und das Tiramisu. Aber auch sonst kann man die Karte hoch und runter schlemmen. Leider kein Lieferdienst, aber Abholung ist möglich. total liebes und freundliches Team, ganz besonders zu Kindern. Immer ein Besuch wert 👌
