It's been a perfect restaurant visit for us for a long time!!! We became aware of the restaurant because of the good reviews and were not disappointed!!! The food was awesome!!! Shrimp as a starter: perfect! Main courses: - Crisps with mushroom sauce: Perfect! - Steak medium with pepper sauce: perfect and to the point! We really haven't eaten so well in a long time. And no, we don't know the owners. The evaluation is done voluntarily. Thank you for a great evening! We'll be back!

Great food, super friendly service. Outside seating isn't great, as it's right on the main road and very noisy.

Food arrived home cold! The kebab roll was a failure!!! Pizza cold The meat is cold! Tomato and cucumber pieces are way too big! The sauce was way too much! And 18€ for that!!! From now on I will make every meal myself, so you know what you have! Like grill oasis crap!!!!!

Excellent home-style German cuisine. Everything is prepared with a lot of heart and patience. The service is very attentive, but at the same time not intrusive. After the meal, the chef and owner of the restaurant asked whether everything was OK and entertained us with some friendly chat. The prices are not unreasonable, but the price-performance ratio is good. We would love to come back!

In my opinion, this is the best Arabic restaurant/snack bar in Bielefeld. The food is always delicious and fresh. The price is quite reasonable; a shawarma roll costs €5.50. However, there are a few problems in my opinion: 1. Very long wait times, even for small orders (2 shawarmas take 20-25 minutes), even when it's not that busy. 2. Often, by the evening (after 8 p.m.), there are no skewers left. This means you can't get anything to eat... a real shame. 3. Despite seating upstairs, which is also separated from the kitchen downstairs, you often smell of grilled meat and smoke after your visit (combined with the long wait times).

Very disappointed because it hasn't been possible to reserve a table and redeem our voucher for months. After today's request, I was snidely told that (as always) everything was fully booked, that nothing had been picked up locally for two years and that the voucher could only be redeemed in Roetgen. It's a shame because we had a very good meal there a few times and were treated kindly. Unfortunately there was no sign of that today and we lost the voucher... not a nice finish in Merkstein

Good day everybody, Since some people here are complaining that Estia has changed, I don't even know what he's talking about. In my opinion, Estia is a great place for a great evening! The food and service is great as always! The menu has changed slightly - see pictures. Today we went there and tried the Asian food and it was great. Traditional sushi, which tasted great and if you still prefer Greek food, you won't miss out here - the menu still offers Greek dishes as before!! I can only recommend that everyone give this restaurant (one more chance) despite everything!
