Super delicious, always fresh, and always friendly service, as it's a family business. The ambiance is beautiful, enhanced even further by the nearby river and forest.

A heartfelt and sincere five stars from a colleague for the truly excellent taste and quality of the food. One really tiny criticism would be that the food was served a little too quickly (starter not ready, main course already served). Since I'm not that picky, that's no reason to deduct a star.

The meal was great and very tasty. It just took a while for the drinks to arrive.

The dishes didn't match the quality of previous visits. The pizza, in particular, was underseasoned and topped with cheap cheese. The bruschetta was thick, cold slices of baguette. It's not worth the trip.

The food was "super delicious"! However, it took a long time to arrive. Drink orders were taken, but never arrived. The dessert menu we ordered never arrived, despite there being enough staff. What a shame!

A chipped plate was served. The staff member poured water next to us from a bucket that smelled of chlorine. The garden around the tables was dry, and empty flowerpots stood everywhere. The food was delicious.

Good and delicious food. Staff were nice and friendly. One was a bit unsure, and when I asked about my order afterward, the response was, "I have nothing to do with that." It wasn't the answer I was hoping for. Oh well. Overall, it was good. But given the prices, I expect professional and trained staff.

A very friendly welcome at the restaurant. We were able to sit outside in the beautiful weather. We chose delicious dishes from the menu and ordered them along with our drinks. After a short wait, we received a "greeting from the kitchen" and then our starter. It was already very tasty and well prepared. Then we got our main courses. The pizza was very good, just right. Delicious and crispy base, the toppings were top-notch. The pasta was also very tasty with a generous portion of garlic. Delicious! We didn't manage to have dessert, we'll have it next time. But there was also a small schnapps on the house. We opted for the limoncello, which was also very good. Conclusion: very good service, delicious food, and (despite it being very busy) a very short wait. You don't see that often. We can confidently recommend the Da Angelo restaurant (also because of its location). Thank you very much!

The four of us were in the restaurant in perfect summer weather. After initially being kept standing for a long time, we were assigned a table. We only received the menu after several waiters rushed past us without really noticing us when we asked for it. Luckily, we placed our drink orders right away. We observed that there was obviously no system in personnel management; everyone served everyone else. Very often, the staff stood on the outdoor terrace looking for food, sometimes going back inside, only to come back out shortly afterwards and hand out the food to the customers. There was even the occasional comment, "We didn't order that," and so they pushed us off again. This also happened (almost) regularly with drinks. Our dessert order didn't arrive until after we had ordered it for the second time. We had the impression that there were some staff who were completely uncoordinated and therefore ineffective as they walked around the terrace. The food was okay, but nothing more. The quantity of fries was more suitable for small children, not for an adult. Last but not least, we were charged €15 for a dish we didn't even get and hadn't even mentioned when paying. That's unacceptable! So, we probably won't go there again.

There was a screw in the food (cream cheese spread) that was only discovered in the mouth while eating. Horrible! There was only an apology and a few jokes about it, and nothing more. The appetizer platter that contained the screw was charged at full price, and there was nothing other than an apology on the house. It's a real shame that we had to experience something like that.

After being assigned a table, you had to wait a long time before you could finally place your order.

The service should be more attentive. You order a small beer but get a large one; you order still water but get a sparkling one; you get a large pizza instead of a small one. Otherwise, everything's fine.

In glorious weather, it's always worth a bike ride. Friendly service, delicious food with a welcome drink, and limoncello on the house. What more could you want?

The bruschetta, a welcome from the kitchen, was placed on the table with great flourish by an annoyed waiter without comment. We received the antipasti a la chef we ordered after a 50-minute wait without a word of apology, and they consisted largely of convenience foods that you can buy at any supermarket. The tables were set close together, making it easy to follow the conversation at the next table. It was pure mass processing and definitely not worth recommending.

We waited a good 40 minutes for our food. The terrace was packed with guests, so we sat inside because it was empty. The salad we ordered was really poorly presented. The grilled meat consisted only of the meat, fries, and a single lettuce leaf. The meat and fries were quite dry. Maybe you should stick to pizza and pasta at an Italian restaurant. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice.

The food is okay – simple, down-to-earth, no-nonsense fare, but it's filling. The pizza was a pleasant surprise. Prices are fair, service is decent, and the selection is decent. What's not to like, however, is the ambiance. The decor seems dated and unloved, tablecloths were very dirty and completely wrinkled, and the flowers still had visible price tags. There's a lot of room for improvement.

Very nice restaurant, good selection, reasonable prices, a very nice welcome from the kitchen (bruschetta) beforehand, the service was very friendly, the food was OK, the lasagna tasted good but had too much cheese and hardly any sauce, the calzone was well filled but the crust was very thin, my husband is disabled, the restaurant is on the ground floor and has a dedicated disabled toilet, great. We would like to visit the restaurant again, there were plenty of other dishes on the menu.

Excellent food, lovely ambiance. Service left something to be desired. Unfortunately, the spices we ordered for the main course didn't arrive. It was probably too busy, and some of them got lost. After the main course, there was no service for a while, and no one asked for drinks or dessert. When we finally ordered, the desserts were brought quite quickly; the tiramisu was delicious. Conclusion: We liked it, the service staff were generally very friendly, but there's still room for improvement in terms of organization.

When walking through the beer garden and inside the restaurant, hardly any table really invited you to sit down: lots of plates, glasses and loose food leftovers that hadn't been cleared away, edges of glasses on the outside of the tables that hadn't been wiped off and some stained tablecloths inside. Judging by the reviews, the food seems to be so fantastic that hardly anyone cares about these disgusting uncleanliness - but I do.

A visit to this restaurant helps you lose weight surprisingly well: 40 minutes until someone has taken the order and another 40 minutes until the food came - clearly too long. The quality of the food was good, but nothing special. The excuse 'lack of staff' doesn't count for me - if you don't have enough staff, you should serve fewer guests. Will there be a second time? Rather not.

Friendly service, the steak was very good, I would have eaten the side dishes even if there had been more. I get the salad better. The rooms have become beautiful after the renovation. You can sit comfortably by the window. However, it is a large "hall", screens or room dividers would improve the atmosphere in my opinion. make it a little more pleasant. Priced appropriately for what is offered. [Update May 1, 2025] Ate there again yesterday. We sat outside on the spacious terrace. Service was very quick, friendly and accommodating. The food was tasty and still very reasonably priced. We can definitely recommend Da Angelo. However, if you are on the Else-Werre cycle path, the access is now a cycle road and there is a lot of cycle traffic there - many guests were there on their bikes yesterday - proper support bars for the bikes would be very nice! The few rim breakers aren't even suitable as an alibi stand.

Great Italian on the Werre. Very nice service - even if you have small changes to the menu - no problem. In terms of quality, one of the best Italians I know. All dishes are prepared to perfection and exactly as they should be.

Very great Mediterranean restaurant

Four of us went for dinner. The appetizers were delicious. The main course was delicious, too. I haven't had such a delicious pizza in a long time (the crust was very fluffy 🤩). Fair prices 👍🏼 Friendly service. There was a bit of confusion when paying, but it was resolved quickly and easily 😊 We'll definitely be back and would love to 😊 ☺️

I went to this restaurant for the first time today with a friend, even though I've known it for a long time. We were both very happy with the food and enjoyed it very much. For starters we had bruschetta and for main course we both had pasta. The service was also very good 👍🏼 We'll definitely be back 👍🏼

The pizza is really good. I can't say anything about the antipasti because it was simply forgotten. Drinks were also not brought or were partially brought. Our waiter was very inattentive. We were three adults and a child of 12 years The menu is great. Something for everyone and not over the top. Drinks are served at a pleasant temperature. The service was also great. For us it was a great dinner. We really liked everything, including the well-kept atmosphere.

Food is good but not great. The ambience inside has something of a train station hall. Very, very loud when it's full. From the acoustics you can tell that it was once a dance hall.

The most delicious pizza you can find anywhere in the area. Tastes like Italy. Definitely try it. Also a great range of beautiful dishes. The tiramisu was also amazing. Not something like that with cream but, as it should be, with mascarpone. Top. We felt very comfortable and had the food on the table quickly. Service was friendly and in a good mood. Keep it up! Since October 2024, it has been wonderfully quiet since the guest room was modernized. An acoustic ceiling was installed. It's amazing how quiet it is now, despite the full dining room. Convince yourself of it.

We are regulars at Da Angelo and always enjoy being guests there. The food is super tasty, the price/performance ratio Conditions are good, the service team is great and always for a little fun. Until now it was unfortunately often very loud inside the restaurant, so that the "noise" "backdrop" was very unpleasant. After extensive work on the sound insulation on the ceiling, etc., it has been significantly quieter since last week. The measure has made a huge difference and it also has a much more harmonious effect. Great!! A big thank you to the entire team for the wonderful time we can always spend with you.

We were invited to a larger celebration here. Outside in the beer garden with buffet. The food was great. It sometimes took a while to get the drinks, but that was okay with me. A beautiful view. I can only recommend it.

A really beautiful location and natural surroundings, for which I give it 4 stars. However, it is sad what is made of it, a power strip hanging from the wall of the house does not contribute to a nicer overall appearance of the facade. The service is really at diner level. The glasses and plates are handed out and not placed on the table. The tray was placed directly in front of me and the drinks were passed over my head to other people. The cutlery used for the starter was put back on the bare table by the waiter when it was cleared away for the main course. Our sauce for the very "sad" grill plate was served 8 minutes before the grill plate, it was already "clumping" and therefore became cold, and it also tasted very much like a finished sauce. On the grill plate there were 6 small pieces of meat without any special features and a mountain of fries - plus the cold sauce and a salad soaked in vinegar beforehand. Our grandma had a salami pizza instead of the vegetarian pizza she had ordered, so everyone at the table had to wait for the new pizza. None of us finished and I'm a really good eater, but everything tasted like frozen food and glutamate. The Mediterranean food concept with its variety of spices and specialties was simply not recognizable. I have to admit the prices were really cheap. which probably explains why the restaurant is so well attended.

Great service, delicious food and an Italian holiday atmosphere. Very committed hosts. I can only recommend a visit. Even if the restaurant is relatively large and it can get louder when there are companies present, if you don't let that distract you, you will still enjoy relaxation, Italian hospitality and a bit of that holiday feeling. When the weather is good you can also sit on the terrace. Unfortunately we weren't able to because it was raining. Conclusion: Absolutely recommended!!! Hospitality and gastronomy are still alive here!!! A little tip: The price-performance ratio is absolutely right. The appetizer platter is enough for 2 people for normal eaters...

The ambience was actually quite nice. Unfortunately the food was mediocre, but the red wine was really very good! I didn't like the dough on the pizza and I could have done much better in terms of taste. That's why I only give the food two stars out of five. Unfortunately, our request was not responded to. A Hawaiian pizza was ordered without ham, and it still had ham on it.

Drinks were only brought once upon request...the pizza was hardly topped and the portions of the pasta dishes were small and sometimes not well seasoned. The waiting time was okay for us. The food...antipasti, pizza, fish and tiramisu were very good. The boss apologized a thousand times for the wait. Ultimately it was a nice evening
