A very nice restaurant. Tables covered in white linens, cloth napkins. Small booths where groups can sit comfortably. Very friendly and prompt service, very good food. I had delicious spaghetti aglio e olio. Italian water. An amuse-bouche in Italian colors. From the next table, I heard the waiter offer a side dish on their own initiative, which must have been specially prepared for the guest. Good value for money. Highly recommended.

We didn't have a reservation. They made it possible for us to stay. Everything was very, very delicious 😋.

The food was okay, but nothing exceptional, and the taste was okay. I expected more from it. The salad came with a dressing that didn't taste good. You should have asked if you wanted oil and vinegar, not a mayonnaise-like dressing. The fillet was a bit stringy.

Dear team, we told you in person on Saturday, September 20, 2025, how wonderful we were with you. The food was excellent, the service was great, so we were able to sit outside! The entire team is very attentive and dedicated to making our guests feel comfortable. We were also particularly pleased by the training they provided to new employees, which is challenging in a busy day-to-day business. Despite the high workload, management remained very friendly toward the new team members. The entire team performed outstandingly. Thank you for the lovely evening. We felt very comfortable! We ordered pasta to go twice and were unfortunately very disappointed. The carbonara was dry, completely tasteless, and had absolutely no resemblance to a good carbonara. The pasta with tomato sauce and eggplant was also bland, and the portion was tiny. For us, the value for money here was completely out of our control; we wouldn't go back.

We found it a bit expensive, and the pizza size was just about right. The crust was too thick for me personally, and the salad was a bit small. Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos.

Hello everyone, we were at Paradiso last night. Unfortunately, we didn't have a reservation, but we were allowed to eat outside. We were very pleased with the food; it was beautifully presented and delicious. The service was very friendly. We highly recommend Ristorante Paradiso.

Delicious food and great service

A complete disappointment. A table was reserved for five people, but we were given a table for four, where we were allowed to add our own chairs. Our order wasn't taken until 25 minutes later, after we asked. Two people received their food, but the rest didn't. The other portions arrived after about 15 minutes. A pizza arrived after 30 minutes, after everyone had finished eating. It was no longer accepted. To top it off, the portions were absolutely tiny, so you definitely wouldn't be full without an appetizer. But the bill still included the pizza. It took another 20 minutes to sort this out. The service overall seemed completely incompetent and overwhelmed by even the smallest detail. This was definitely our last visit.

The service was completely overwhelmed. Nothing worked. The food for our group took about 10 minutes to arrive. It wasn't possible to share a meal. Another bottle of wine wasn't available. No one was able to take our order. You can certainly have bad days, but when no one has the decency to say "sorry" that you're not getting the service you paid for, that's not right.

We didn't get our meals at the same time, and one meal was forgotten. The waitress at the table said, "Shit," and another waitress rolled her eyes at us, complaining that he had already answered the question eight times. We had to ask at least three times about the whereabouts of each drink. The wait was such a disgrace, as was the service. The food was no better than "okay." We won't be going back to this restaurant.

The food was great! Unfortunately, the service seemed understaffed and at times unmotivated. The wait times were correspondingly long. Parts of the order simply didn't arrive, and unfortunately, there was no leniency offered.

We had to wait over an hour for the food. Drinks only arrived after repeated requests. It may have been an exception, but for us, who were looking forward to a change of pace, it wasn't a pleasant experience.

When we asked for a table yesterday without a reservation, the answer that everything was reserved was a bit disappointing, but understandable. When we asked if we could use one of the many (about 8) uncovered outdoor tables, we were told that this was not possible due to possible rain (1.5 hours later, 0.2 mm with 30% was forecast). OK. As we turned around, a flashy SUV pulled up right in front of the restaurant and let in a conspicuously dressed woman, who immediately approached a service employee. Within 30 seconds, someone appeared and set one of the free outdoor tables (which could not be set due to the risk of rain). I have rarely felt so miserably treated in a restaurant. Apparently, there are "regulars," then nothing for a long time, and then the shabby rest.

Never again – absolutely disappointing! Today, five of us were at Paradiso in Bad Oeynhausen, which markets itself as an upscale Italian restaurant. However, there was absolutely no sense of upscale here. As soon as we entered, we were left standing at the door, even though the manager clearly saw us. Not a glance, not a hello, no hospitality whatsoever. The entire staff seemed disorganized, listless, and overwhelmed – no trace of professional service. When we were finally brought to the table, we were at least hoping for good food. But here, too, we were bitterly disappointed: My mother ordered pork medallions – they were as tough as chewing gum and inedible. My stepfather had a meat platter where every single piece of meat was tough and dry. My brother ordered a fillet steak medium rare, but got a completely cooked piece of leather. The side dishes were a complete disaster: completely overcooked, dry, and devoid of any flavor. From a restaurant in this price range that claims to be a fine Italian restaurant, you expect quality, taste, and hospitality – none of that was present here. We will never return to this restaurant and cannot recommend it to anyone.

Good restaurant and good food. Unfortunately, it's very unpleasant when you're trying to enjoy your meal and the guests at the next table are smoking. It would be nice if they could change that so everyone can enjoy their meal.

The pizza is baked on a baking sheet and isn't typically Italian. It's greasy and the ingredients are poor quality.

The best tomato soup I've ever eaten! The pasta (spaghetti carbonara) was also very good, but unfortunately the portion was a bit too small. The price/performance ratio is relatively high considering the generally high price level in Bad Oeynhausen, but it's reasonable for the excellent quality. The service was friendly and the ambiance is pleasant. Whenever I'm in Bad Oeynhausen, I like to go back to Paradiso.

We go here regularly and have never had bad luck. It's a first-class restaurant.

Unobtrusive, attentive service and delicious food, whether pizza or pasta, we're always completely satisfied. I especially recommend the tartufo for dessert. The outdoor area is very nice.

I was visiting and was hoping for good Italian cuisine. The food was delicious, but the ambiance was not. Even though the entire room was available, we were seated in the last corner by the constantly rattling bar. I felt like I was in a dog park. It was really loud. When the drinks were served, the unused glasses were simply pushed aside on the table. I felt like I was in through traffic.

All in all, it was okay. But nothing more. Given the online presence as a "chic Italian restaurant," we had significantly higher expectations. The quality of the ingredients is unquestionable. Our main course took a long time to arrive. And for pizza, we expected something other than a pan pizza from a sheet pan. The pasta was okay, the shell-on scampi were a bit overcooked. The taste was just okay. Almost all dishes have orange slices or similar decorations on the plates. For me, that's simply food waste and unnecessary. The decor is very old-school, and it was incredibly warm in the restaurant. The service staff at the beginning was very nice; it was chaotic, but they apologized for it and even offered a glass of Prosecco on the house. We were never asked for drinks in the two hours we were there. We always had to ask for attention ourselves. The clearing of the dishes was also quite rude at times. With obvious regulars, we observed that the service was significantly better. You can do that, but we don't understand the countless very good reviews.

We spontaneously arrived around 5:30 p.m. to grab a quick pizza. Unfortunately, all the tables were reserved, but they immediately offered us a table for 90 minutes (two people) – which was fantastic. We started with a "greeting from the kitchen" and fresh bread (very, very tasty). I had the Pizza Paradiso (salmon, spinach) and have to say (and I said it there too) that it was the best I've ever had – simply fantastic! My wife was no less enthusiastic about the pizza with tuna, onions, and pineapple. The staff not only strives to fulfill every guest's wish, but also makes it easy to do so; everyone is very attentive yet discreet. Everything was perfect up to this point, but when we were then given the opportunity to choose a "nightcap" on the house (we both enjoyed an excellent Sambuca), it was almost unbelievable... The name truly says it all, and the value for money is hard to beat. We have only very (!) positive things to say about all areas. The quality of the food, the staff, and the ambience set standards! Thank you for a spontaneous and great experience!!

Four of us had dinner there, for the first time. . Very nice and friendly team with recommendations off the menu. So ordered the veal liver in sage butter - PERFECT! The beef fillet was also cooked perfectly both times, once English, once medium. The meat was super tender and of TOP quality. The asparagus was also great. We will definitely be back.

Here the name says it all. For us, Paradiso is one of the best Italian restaurants in the entire area... and has been for many years. The dishes are consistently top. It doesn't matter whether you prefer pizza, meat, fish or pasta dishes. The whole thing is served in a nice environment (which, admittedly, can get a bit noisy when the restaurant is full) and garnished with always attentive, first-class service. What more could you ask for? Always a highlight for us!

An all around lovely experience! We ordered two pizzas – the “Pizza Paradiso” with salmon and shrimp and the “Pizza Ordino” with artichokes and chicken breast. Both tasted absolutely great: crispy base, fresh ingredients and perfectly balanced. The wine also went well with it and made the overall package harmonious. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere – people (and we too) will be happy to come back here. Clear recommendation for everyone who loves good pizza! Unfortunately no picture of the pizzas was taken in advance, only with almost empty plates :)

First surprise: a large parking lot right next to the restaurant! We had lunch here on a Wednesday and absolutely loved it. Starting with the delicious "greetings from the kitchen" (a thin slice of baguette with two pesti and parmesan) through the very good wine to the best pizza or salmon fillet we have ever eaten, there was absolute satisfaction at our table. The service staff were very friendly and attentive. We didn't wait too long for our food. The individual components of the dishes were characterized by their freshness. We didn't waste a single dollop of this great olive oil, instead we licked everything up with the delicious baguette. We attach great importance to wholesome, good quality food at home and were not disappointed here. If we didn't live so far away (368 km), we would have found our new favorite restaurant.

It's a nice shop in itself, but for a good price I also expect good food. My lettuce was brown at the cut edges and nothing special in general. In addition, when I address deficiencies, I expect that people will at least say something about them and not just walk away in silence...

Service was top. The tomato soup is recommended. We also ordered pizza - unfortunately the dough was mediocre.

My husband was in Bad Oeynhausen for rehab and I visited him on his birthday (8.1.25) I had previously chosen where we could go in the evening and found the Paradiso. We were so excited. It was a wonderful evening and everything was just right!!! Beautifully set table, beautiful ambience, very accommodating, friendly staff and the food was just sooooo delicious!!! It's a shame that we live 220km away, otherwise we would definitely be here more often!!! Keep it up, just great!!!

The waitresses don't know anything about the menu. The starter and main course were of poor quality. Drinks are often forgotten. You would have to remind yourself of this several times.

We were looking for a restaurant in Bad Oeynhausen for lunch, and it wasn't that easy. We ended up in Paradiso and didn't regret it. Starters, lasagne and raspberry tiramisu were super tasty, the service was very nice.

Simply delicious!🍽 We ate baby calamari from the grill with salad, side dish, garlic sauce, and pizza bread with garlic butter. They were fresh and properly prepared, beautifully tender and simply tasted fantastic.

Delicious Italian food, I had a delicious Calzone with a fantastic Sabayon for dessert, highly recommended. Share it with two people, but you won't finish it! Starters shared. We had dinner with 6 people and everyone was enthusiastic.

We have been here several times and are always impressed: The ambience in the restaurant is beautiful. Very classy and calm. The tables are always lovingly set and offer enough space for you to sit comfortably. The service always gives you enough time to choose food and drinks, but is quick to respond if you have an additional request. Everyone here is really friendly. The food? Heavenly! I'm often picky when we eat out. So far we have had excellent meals every time at Paradiso. Whether with or without meat, the dishes we ordered were always of the highest quality and tasted excellent. The gigantic plates are always a little misleading at the beginning as to whether the food served is enough, because at first glance it might look a bit small on a huge plate, but we always got so full that we've never had one before ordered some of the delicious sounding desserts from the menu. Conclusion: Absolute recommendation!

Never experienced such poor, uncoordinated, unstructured service. The blonde waitress is completely incompetent!!!! Took our orders and our food came quicker than drinks, but out of 6 food orders 2 were wrong and after the drinks arrived (asked 3 times) 4 out of 6 drinks were wrong. It took 30 minutes until we got the right drinks! We had to wait 45 minutes for the right food. Hmm, eating together is something different. The worst thing is that the blonde lady, instead of apologizing for all her mistakes, always blamed it on all the other employees! She only took our orders and we were neither offered parmesan with the pasta nor did she bring it even though we asked for it!!! McDonald has better service! We will never visit this restaurant again!

Ok, the food was served quickly and was mediocre. The blonde lady who served us was nice and friendly. In the restaurant a gentleman kept walking past our table and taking orders...I think he was the boss. The man never once thought it necessary to ask us if everything was OK. etc. is! The coronation took place on the way out. The unfriendly guy looked at us and didn't say a word....no thanks and goodbye! I'm not mad at my money...I'm not bringing it to this guy anymore!

Went there for lunch today because of the good reviews. We were served at an outdoor table promptly at 12 p.m. 2 times soup as a starter, once spaghetti scampi, once pizza (spicy) Food was okay so far, the pizza was visually a failure, looked like a pizza from the supplier - I expected a lot more here. Considering we were the first guests that afternoon, our main course took a long time (1:10 p.m.). Ordering a second drink failed due to the attention of the entire staff, who always walked past our table very hastily and without asking. After paying I was completely sure: Even Google doesn't always tell the whole truth - for me there's no reason for a second time 😉

I don't usually write reviews but this time I have to!!!! The service, especially the older lady with blonde hair, is a disaster and arrogant. This is mass processing and has nothing to do with fine service. There were 4 of us, 3 of them women, and the blonde waitress instead of greeting us just looked the women up and down and then just grumbled: There's the table in front, they can sit down there. (The tablecloth was stained and had several holes) Not even a smile came from the waitress. (And the store wasn't full!) Also, when she put my salad in front of me, half of her thumb was in my salad plate, so I didn't want to eat it anymore. On the other hand, the young man (waiter) was very nice and he reacted immediately and brought me a new salad. When I got my pasta (unfortunately again from the blonde waitress) she didn't even offer me parmesan and didn't even wish us bon appetit. When I asked the young man if I could have Parmesan, he responded immediately. When we collected the cash, the waitress neither asked if everything was OK nor thanked us. And she put the extra tip we gave for the young waiter in her wallet and didn't say anything about it. The food was tasty but that's probably why people come. The atmosphere also needs a renovation, everything is run down, flowers on the table are wilting so carelessly. It's a shame that the restaurant is already higher priced!

The Paradiso restaurant lives up to its high ratings in every respect. The tables were beautifully set with great attention to detail, from the elegantly folded napkins to the fine cutlery. We were particularly impressed by the young man who served us. He did his job extremely professionally, was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The Paradiso not only offers excellent food, but also first-class service. An unforgettable experience that we would like to repeat.

We had dinner at Paradiso last night. Luckily we had reserved a table because it was already very full at 6 p.m. The tables were set with white blankets as well as cloth napkins and glasses. From the house there was a ciabatta with Italian colors. We had spinach lasagna with salmon and pizza with crab and garlic. The food was served very hot and tasted very tasty. The friendly service rounded off the successful evening. Lovely again.

Too bad, too bad, too bad... We have been guests at Paradiso for many years because it is a very good restaurant with excellent cuisine. Sometimes we are only here once a year, sometimes several times, depending on what suits us because we don't live locally. During our current visit, the food was once again very good, although some of the meat on one plate was so mixed that it was not edible. On another plate it was very English. You can live with that. We said we didn't want dessert because we were going to the GOP. Despite this, the waitress talked our daughter (11) into a dessert. Since he spoke to her directly and lured her with ice cream, there was no turning back. The child's dessert came with plenty of eggnog. Of course something like this shouldn't happen. After we pointed this out, it was immediately brought back. The bad and really disappointing thing was the boss's cashing in. He didn't even look at us and didn't say a word when we entered it into the EC device. He placed the receipt on the table, turned away and left without a word. We don't know why. No “thank you very much” or “did you enjoy it”, no, just nothing. I put the tip I already had in my hand back in there. This manner seemed very arrogant and clearly gave the feeling that we were not welcome. Or maybe he was having a bad day. Maybe we'll go again and see how the evening goes, because the food is really, really good.

Ambiance doesn't say anything, walls could use some refreshing. Tablecloths with holes and stains, plates cracked at the edges. Quality and service, well. (Could be better) Organization completely messed up. Getting wrong food orders. Not everything at the same time but with a time delay. Food meaningless and carelessly decorated. After eating, don't see any more of the staff. You have to come forward and let them know. When it comes to numbers, the boss quickly gets to the point and messes things up. Conclusion, it was the first and last time.

Pretty tasteless, the decoration without love. The side dish with the lamb is really bad. Rosemary potatoes with broccoli. Taste and appearance, really bad. The lamb is laced with tendons and fat. At the price of 36.50, it's just a shame. The lady who served us was nice. Absolutely no recommendation. Maybe for pizza and pasta..
