Da Salvo in Bad Oeynhausen

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. Despite having a reservation, no table was reserved for us, so a table belonging to a large group was taken and placed right in front of the entrance. The waiter took our order, but then we were forgotten. The obvious regulars, who arrived 20 minutes later than us, were served immediately and received their drinks right away. This table was directly behind ours, and the owner was personally serving them. We felt completely ignored. After 30 minutes, I approached the waiter and said we were leaving. After some stammering, I finally received an apology. Overall, a very disappointing experience, and we left with the feeling that who gets served and who doesn't is decided based on personal preference.

I went there again today and unfortunately have to say that the tiramisu this time was store-bought, which was very disappointing since I paid almost 8 euros for it. That was the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to. It's a really charming little place where you sit close together. Incredibly cozy and beautifully decorated. The food and service were superb. But the best part was the owner's little singing performances; he'd stand in the middle of the room with wine and lyrics and sing Italian classics. An unforgettable evening! Thank you :)

The owner is incredibly attentive to every guest and, with his warm manner, ensures that you feel completely at home. I especially like that he even sings for the guests – it makes the evening an unforgettable experience! 🎶 The food is a delight every time – fresh, incredibly delicious, and authentically Italian. The entire team, both the lovely ladies in the waiting room and in the kitchen, contributes to this wonderful atmosphere with their friendliness and dedication. Apparently, we were unlucky here, so I can't really confirm the many good reviews. After a visit to the GOP Kaiserpalais, we wanted to end a lovely evening there with our two children. After our initial drink order, our food order was forgotten. It was only taken with a rather harsh "attention" gesture, but not before the waitress complained about her own colleague because we hadn't ordered yet. We then had to wait over an hour and a half for our food. We were already considering canceling our order; by then, it was getting dark and considerably cooler. This wasn't an isolated incident that evening; during the long wait, we discussed it with the other guests. Before we could bring ourselves to leave, we received our food, and after such a wait, our mood was already pretty low. The food was mediocre; the fillet was overcooked and therefore barely distinguishable from a steak, and the side vegetables seemed reheated. The chicken salad was quite good, as were the lasagna and spaghetti. So, the food is rather average, but the prices don't reflect that at all. Apparently, not everyone gets the obligatory nightcap when paying—not exactly appreciative behavior. Next time, we'll try one of the many other restaurants on this street, as they have a very pleasant atmosphere on warm summer evenings.

What a unique taste experience! I've rarely eaten such a good pizza! The service was super professional; I received excellent advice and exemplary service! Authentic, very tasty, highly recommended! The ambiance outside was okay. It was very busy due to the downtown festival. The owner can't be blamed for that. He still tried to create the most pleasant atmosphere possible for his guests. Quite a nice little restaurant. But unfortunately, where there's an Italian restaurant in front of the restaurant, the food isn't always delicious. Overall, disappointing. From the appetizer to the main course, everything was mediocre.

The last time I was there was in September 2019. It was a great restaurant, delicious dishes, and a chef with a big heart❤️ Update June 2025: I recommended it to my friends, but they were rather disappointed. The bread was too dry, the lasagna was very oily, and the wine was delicious. Limoncello was advertised, but it wasn't brought.

You have to go there.....!!! Unfortunately, we were unlucky. The food was good, even though it took over an hour before we were even asked what we wanted. Ordering drinks was difficult because no one came out. The staff were inattentive and distracted. The receipt was a disaster, with zero transparency; everything was booked under "kitchen miscellaneous." The house lemonade never arrived either. We're disappointed!

Stopped in Bad Oeynhausen on the way through. The Italian restaurant is a perfect choice for dinner in the evening. Like a short vacation in Italy. Everything goes here. Do it calmly and carefully. The restaurant is also extremely busy on Mondays. Why? After eating the fresh food everything becomes clear. Very authentic cuisine, prepared and served with love. If you're looking for pizza, you'll be looking in vain, but the menu on the board still whets your appetite. Keep it up and thank you for a perfect evening.

Very narrow, even waitresses could hardly get through, very loud, normal conversation not possible (Italian flair?). I had duck breast fillet, very plain, tough and tasteless. My idea of ​​going to a restaurant is different.

I don't often give my opinion on restaurants. But everything was great here. The food came quickly and was super tasty.

Unfortunately a divided visit. We were there yesterday with 4 adults and 1 child 5 years old. After we sat down, we waited 10 minutes and didn't receive a card, then we asked and another 5 minutes passed until we received cards. The lady wanted to take drinks straight away without us having the opportunity to look at the menu. Then another 10-15 minutes passed until we could order. However, the food came quite quickly and we all enjoyed it; we had the spaghetti with salmon and truffle tortellini. Unfortunately we found the portions a bit small. We weren't asked again about drinks or whether we liked it. Unfortunately for us it was the first and last time in the store.

Absolute recommendation. Small, cozy restaurant with very good cuisine. The staff is very warm and happy to sing a song.

We decided to have something to eat with family at short notice. It's a restaurant, not a pizzeria. All dishes are freshly prepared in the open kitchen. And you can taste it too. Excellent. And with bruscetta and tortelloni we received very friendly service. Small drawback: the tables were slightly sticky as was the floor. Therefore 4 stars, recommended.

Although we didn't have a reservation, we were warmly welcomed and offered a table, although we were immediately told that we would definitely have to wait an hour. But since it smelled so delicious in this restaurant, we accepted it and didn't regret it at all. The people in service were very friendly and attentive and the pizza was first class. We really enjoyed the visit and will definitely come back when we are in Bad Oeynhausen. Great!

Little bit of a strange atmosphere ordering, as the only English speakers were the cooks, but that does not take away from the fact the food was excellent! Freshly made generous portions of delicious pasta. Friendly owner hanging out in the restaurant too, making sure everyone is ok.

Based on the very good reviews, we decided to give the restaurant a try. Overall it was okay and the food was tasty. But, it wasn't breathtaking or super amazing. I was happy to eat a super delicious pizza, which wasn't the case because there is no pizza. I then ate tagliatelle with scampi, which tasted good, but I could have made it myself at home. Unfortunately, you couldn't have a conversation in peace or at a normal volume because the music was simply too loud. Price performance was good, service too, but I won't eat there again.

Sicuramente uno dei migliori ristoratori italiani in Germania, i piatti sono molto abbondanti e curati anche nell'aspetto. L'ambiente non è grandissimo ma molto caldo e accogliente. Lo consiglio vivamente.... Da consigliare sicuramente, non rimarrete deluso.

The food was very good despite the lack of a regular chef. The boss was in a good mood. Everything is fine, except for the toilet, which needs a refresher program. Otherwise, gladly again.

Unscheinbar, überschaubare Anzahl Plätze, aber absolut feines und empfehlenswertes Ristorante. Die "besondere" Speisekarte auf der Schiefertafel zeigt Köstlichkeiten, die in diesen Kombinationen eine Seltenheit sind. So fällt die Entscheidung zwischen den verschiedenen Köstlichkeiten sehr schwer. Das Weinregel ist eine Reise durch Italien - Rot-und Weißweine gleichermaßen....und Spitzenqualität zu anständigen Preisen. Die Krönung ist der Chef, der uns mit seinem Gesang echtes italienisches Flair hergezaubert hatte. Ci vediamo a Da Salvo!

Sorry, but something like that doesn't work!

Atmosphere incredible - the owner came out with a karaoke machine and sang Italian songs. We felt like we were on vacation in Italy. Prices totally justified. Only recommended!!

Wir haben einen schönen Abend verbracht. Das Essen war sehr gut. Wir haben folgende Gerichte bestellt: Bruschetta (sehr lecker) Gnocchi mit Burrata und Rucola ( Sehr mächtig und lecker) Brecchiette mit Salsiccia (sehr lecker) Teramisu (nicht empfehlenswert, da Fertigprodukt) Die offenen Rotweine waren gut. Der Service war freundlich und die musikalische Unterhaltung einmalig. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Typisch italienisches Restaurant ,authentische Küche und ein Inhaber der locker am Abend ein paar Lieder schmettert. Tolle Stimmung!

Ein Chef, der gerne unterhält und gerne an jedem Tisch mittrinkt - etwas top much für meinen Geschmack. Der Rest des Personals steht im Hintergrund. Das Essen ist Mittelklasse, weder besonders gut, noch schlecht. Wahrscheinlich muss man Stammkunde sein, um den etwas abzugewinnen. Beim nächsten GOP Besuch werden wir was anderes suchen.

Sehr netter Ort. Super Essen. Offene Küche was sehr schön ist. Bedienung etwas überfordert an einem Freitag. Heute leider keine Seltenheit.

Fine Dining in einer familiären Atmosphäre, teilweise wirklich überraschend gut für einen sehr familienfreundlichen Preis. Der Limoncello wird von Salvo‘s Bruder hergestellt, sehr zu empfehlen.

War sehr schön und hätte eigentlich auch einen 5. Stern verdient. Leider hatte ich ein Haar im Essen. Die Kellnerin hat mich sofort gefragt ob ich mein Essen neu haben möchte, hab es dann trotzdem gegessen. Schön wäre hier ein noch besseres Achten auf die Hygiene. Mein Getränk wurde auch vergessen, beim daraufhinweisen hat man mir dann statt einem Softdrink eine große Flasche Wasser für 5 Euro hingestellt. Cool war es, als der Ladenbesitzer noch ein kleines Ständchen auf italiensich gesungen hat, das hat die Atmosphäre noch verbessert. Würde trotzdem wieder hingehen, war nämlich sehr lecker. Denke es lag auch daran, dass es wirklich gut besucht war.

Familiär sehr gut geführtes italienisches Restaurant

Wir waren übers Wochenende in Bad Oeynhausen im Privathotel Stickdorn und das Restaurant ist ganz in der Nähe. Wir waren ohne Reservierung dort und wurden freundlich empfangen und haben draußen noch einen Tisch ergattern können. Wir haben als Vorspeise Caprese und das Rinder Carpaccio gewählt. Es kam zügig und es hat so lecker geschmeckt. Wir konnten in Ruhe unsere Vorspeise essen ohne das der Hauptgang schon gedrängelt hat. Das Zeitmanagement war toll. Unsere Nudeln im Hauptgang waren selbst gemacht und auch hier waren wir sehr begeistert. Mein Mann und ich waren mit der Essenswahl sehr zufrieden . Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, wenn wir mal wieder in Bad Oeynhausen sind!

Sehr lecker, mega riesen Pizzen für bezahlbare Preise einfache Ambiente aber dafür lecker,beste Pizza Man kann nur mit Bargeld bezahlen!

Cibo italiano nella media . Grandissima pecca, la mancanza di aspirazione dei fumi. Siamo stati messi a mangiare sul soppalco che hanno costruito in sala. Era quasi impossibile respirare dal fumo dovuto alla cucina. Nessuna finestra. Forse ai tedeschi piace così...... AUGURI

Restaurant mit dem offensichtlichen Anspruch sich von einem klassischen Italiener abzuheben. Dieses gelingt im Hinblick auf das Essen durchaus. Der Service lässt jedoch zu wünschen übrig. Ein italienisches Restaurant im überdurchnittlichen Preissegment sollte seine Freundlichkeit nicht nur den Stammgästen gegenüber zeigen. Sorry, für den nach Außen gezeigten Anspruch deutlich zu wenig.

Gute Pizza für eine klein Stadt Kann man hingehen

Eher unscheinbar von außen und da keine Internetseite vorhanden ist war ich sehr skeptisch. Aber der Service und das Essen war sehr gut. Es gibt eine Tageskarte und alles wird frisch zubereitet, dadurch sollte man mir etwas Wartezeit rechnen. Aber das lohnt sich. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Frisch zubereitete Gerichte, sehr lecker und eine sehr umfangreiche Weinauswahl.

Wer einmal richtig gute italienische Küche genießen möchte ist hier genau richtig!
