In summer there is a beer garden in front of the historic backdrop of the former colliery - with delicious food and drinks from Gasthaus Stromberg.

Very tasty and fresh food, highly recommended.

Stood in front of the closed door at 9:30 on Saturday. No information, neither on the door nor on the website. We, and another couple who were also standing at the door, were very disappointed. Not a good first impression. Addendum: They called back in the afternoon, clearly too late, and explained the non-attendance with a Christmas party the evening before. That's no way to treat customers. We won't come back. Update January 2024: once again the owners are unable to keep their website up to date and communicate their vacation times, you have to be lucky to get the information from neighbors in the community. Nothing learned from the past, it's a shame. So our decision not to go there remains.

And now it's the turn of the most rude staff! Let's start with the cleaners! 2 people come and it takes 4 hours to clean half a bar. Leave a dirty beer cellar behind, leave the washing machine on and leave, but the main thing is one smoke after the next that works! To the chef: Dirty to the point of being dirty! Sheets, pans, cupboards etc etc! Now it's over, otherwise I'll come over there, I'll tell you! I don't waste my free time on idiots! I also have 3 grandchildren plus 5 children and that is now over for us too Ms. Suttmann

so here again and again really good starter goat cheese with lamb's lettuce and warm goat brie main course blackanges steak with pepper sauce fries and salad as well as ash cheek with celery puree and onions in the best sauce dessert pumpkin cake with hazelnuts ice cream and espresso hip mega delicious service as always excellent As a starter I had beef tartare with chanterelles and my husband had tomato mozzarella with tomato ice cream (tomten ice cream = taste explosion) Main course Fried octopus with artichoke and my husband oven ribs with coleslaw, all super tasty and good portion Chocolate mousse with brownie Beeen sorbet I was in heaven The waitress and waiter know how to have fun, are super friendly and know their trade revisit Per person 3 A course with a wine and a soft drink can cost €50-70 This time we sat in the upper part, very chic. Food was excellent, like last time, very good service. Definitely worth a visit. Quality of the food and the price is reasonable. Just came from the restaurant, sat in the lower part, very nice atmosphere. Super nice and competent waiters. Very nice little menu. We had baked goat cheese on beetroot with cress and pomegranate apples and cauliflower coconut soup with curry popcorn. Both were extremely tasty. For the main course we had beef eolade with red wine onions and puree (the sauce was so good to die for) and beef fillet with almond puree and oven-roasted vegetables (I've never had almond puree before, it was really tasty). For dessert we had crème brulee and chocolate hazelnut cranberry. It was so delicious that it was palate sex. We'll be back, it was great

Not a good kebab... The meat is absolutely not tasty. The only positive thing is the salad is delicious and fresh

We were there for the first time and will definitely come back. Very comfortable seating, rarely have I sat so comfortably in a restaurant. Friendly service, extra requests without any problems. The food was prepared very tasty. The price/performance ratio is completely okay.

Well...they're slowly getting up to speed...it used to be nice, but now...well, you're no longer served in a friendly manner, all the service staff are just annoyed...if you've reserved a table, you're almost thrown out in an unfriendly manner after 2 hours. ..I'm done with it... but you can see what happens when it comes to the money! And when you see how they leave the park behind when the wooden hut is built back and forth again and again. And the food is also totally overpriced..It tastes 10 times better in the Frittenranch...I don't know if I'll survive this outlandish Alm for long...there are other things in Waltrop...I can leave it...It's hospitable something else...but the main thing is that the cash register rings!👿

The tastiest pizzas I've eaten so far came from here! The kebab is always top notch. Wednesday pizza day, you can try pizzas that you wouldn't otherwise order. I've already discovered one or two pearls 😊
