The best Greek restaurant in Waltrop and the surrounding area. The food tastes great, comes quickly and the portions are generous (many guests have the leftovers packed up to take home). Ouzo is offered before and after the meal. The service is very friendly, the atmosphere is very appealing. There is a self-service salad bar. In summer, the large terrace with a view of the Waltrop outdoor pool is also open. Artemis is always our first choice, we only have to avoid it on Mondays as it is a rest day 😉

The food here is simply fantastic! The dishes are authentic, fresh and incredibly delicious. The gyros in particular are a highlight. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is super friendly. A real insider tip for everyone who loves good Greek cuisine!

My brother and I were in the restaurant for the first time and both had baked souvlaki and grilled pepperoni as a starter. We were both very pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was. We will definitely come back.

We were there on a Sunday lunchtime with 5 people. The restaurant is located next to the Waltrop city park, directly on a quiet street. Almost all of the parking spaces were full that day, but I still found a spot. We had reserved a table and were warmly welcomed. The table was more suitable for 4 people, but that was just about ok. Otherwise there is plenty of seating in the restaurant and also a small, covered outdoor area. The service was very attentive and there was a round of ouzo on the house beforehand. Both the drinks and food we ordered came within a reasonable time. We were able to get salad from the extensive buffet in advance - everything was crisp and fresh. All the food we ordered was very tasty and plentiful. In any case, we enjoyed it. Finally there was a round of ouzo. All in all, a successful meal and we will definitely be back.

Been there for the first time, prices okay but what you get on your plate isn't, far too little for the price, the staff is friendly there's nothing you can say, very annoying that when you ask you get tzatziki for €6 which was also pretty tasteless sorry, since they said small portion, well for us once and never again, since the dogs are also allowed into the restaurant, I didn't think it was so great that a dog was sitting next to us at the table.

Certainly the most disappointing Greek in many years (and I know a few, as you can see). Visually promising, stylishly furnished. The Metaxa sauce was watery and tasteless. The meat in it was apparently unseasoned and without any roasted aromas, no traces of a grill to be seen. Plus fries that were maybe just done (far from crispy) and catastrophic rice - the first Djuwet rice that I didn't finish. I had the same problem with my companion's other dish with mushroom sauce - unfortunately trying each other confirmed this.

We had a great girls' evening with good food and great service, even though every table was occupied! The food was definitely not our last meal there and the service was attentive and really great! We had dinner with 4 people this evening and it was very good.

My first visit there and I have to say: Absolutely a top Greek! Food was perfectly done. It was "just" a standard grill plate, but the meat (lamb cutlet, skewered pork steak, Suzuki, gyros) was grilled perfectly. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. A nice big portion of fries + a very good spicy sauce. You can put together the salad yourself as you wish. Service was great too. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we were able to find a decent spot. Toilets very clean and therefore not smelly. Always my pleasure!

We were there with a group of girlfriends. The food came for all 8 of us at the same time! I think that's great! The waiters were all very friendly and accommodating. Food was good, but I've eaten better steaks, so a star deduction, but complaining at a high level. It was very pleasant to dine there.

Seit einiger Zeit wieder erneut das Restaurant besucht. Wie ersichtlich, volle Zufriedenheit, jedoch ein Kritikpunkt, die Portionen der Gerichte zu üppig, zum Wegschmeißen zu schade, so dass wir uns den Rest einpacken ließen und mit nahmen. Es wäre wünschenswert, kleinere Portionen, z.B. Fleischgröße. Jederzeit kommen wir wieder.

Bei unserem ersten Besuch waren wir sofort begeistert, ich muss dazu sagen das Griechische Essen war nicht mein Favorit. Es stimmte das Ambiente, der Service total freundlich , in der Speicherkarte war eine Sonderkarte aus der ich ein Gericht wählte, absolut Top. Wir waren jetzt 5x dort und immer mehr als zufrieden. Ich war gestern zum ersten Mal bei euch. Ich wohne schon 5 Jahre um die Ecke. Ich hätte tatsächlich niemals gedacht, dass ihr ein so tolles Restaurant habt. Tolles Ambiente. Toller aufmerksamer Service. Keine langen Wartezeiten. Frischer Salat vom Buffet und super leckere Speisen. Nummer 56 war echt lecker. Mediterran angerichtet genau meins. Kann ich definitiv empfehlen. Bei Google gibt es 5* und ich komme gerne wieder! 🤗

Großartige Atmosphäre, eine ganz außergewöhnlich stimmige Kombination aus heller, moderner Einrichtung und trotzdem behaglicher Kuscheligkeit, ist extrem selten. Die Lammkeule ist ein Traum, der Mavrodaphne von exquisiter Qualität. Bin hier in Waltrop nicht zu Hause, sonst gäbe es einen leidenschaftlich treuen Stammgast mehr!

Alles Sehr gut , nette freundliche Bedienung , Salat Theke , wir durften unseren Hund mitnehmen . Schönen Restaurant, das Essen war reichlich und schmackhaft. Wir hatten einen entspannten Abend . Für mich gehört er zu den top 10 Griechischen Restaurant die ich in 40 Jahren besucht habe , freue mich auf 2024 wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren am 23.12. wieder mit der Familie bei euch. Und was soll ich sagen? Einfach wunderbar wie immer!!! Seit 18 Jahren unser absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant. Ihr seid alle so herzlich und toll. Meine Frau sagt immer, ein Tag bei euch, ist wie ein Tag Urlaub.

Zur Bewertung einer jungen Dame, die als Local Guide Bewertungen schreibt. Das Artemis ist ein familiengeführtes Restaurant und dort gehört Service, Qualität und Freundlichkeit selbstverständlich dazu. Das Essen hat immer beste Qualität, ein sehr gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis und es werden Wünsche des Gastes immer ernst genommen. In der heutigen Zeit ist es so wichtig, auf Intoleranzen und Allergien einzugehen. Die Majo und Ketchup Flaschen geben dem Gast die Möglichkeit, die Inhaltsstoffe zu kontrollieren. Auch wird dem Gast die Menge an Majo und Ketchup nicht vorgeschrieben. Er kann sich soviel portionieren wie er mag und es kostet nicht 1 Cent mehr. 👍 Hier werden eben keine Kleckse aus 10 kg Eimern auf dem Teller gegeben, wie in anderen Lokalen,, die womöglich mehrere Wochen alt sein können. Das ist ein Service des Hauses, steht auch für Frische und wird gerne für den Gast zur Verfügung gestellt. Jeder Besuch lohnt sich und zeigt, wie die Familie ihr Restaurant mit Leidenschaft führt. Wie gehen immer wieder gerne hin und können es nur empfehlen 👍

Wir waren heute mit der Familie bei Artemis essen ! Das Essen war sehr lecker! Vor allem das Fleisch hatte eine super Qualität!! Die Kellner war sehr aufmerksam und haben uns super bedient ! Auch sehr kinderfreundlich!! Aller bester Grieche in der Umgebung !

Waren hier zum 2ten Feiertag essen… natürlich ist es da voll und stressig … aber sowas hab ich auch nicht erlebt . Man kriegt ne ganze Mayo Pulle von Lidl auf den Tisch gestellt , bei solchen Preisen geht das gar nicht . Die Pommes waren Ungenießbar da diese viel zu lange frittiert wurden und auch nochmal solange im Fett gebadet waren das sie total eklig geschmeckt haben. Ich hatte ein Haar in meiner Soße . Das Fleisch war zumindestens aber ganz lecker . Das alles hätte man dem Service mal sagen können wenn denn dann mal wer kam . Ich persönlich war das erste und letzte mal dort . Schade … die Erfahrung anderer war Voher positiv.

Das Lokal war sehr voll, wir haben den letzten Tisch bekommen, trotzdem war der Service sehr freundlich und schnell. Leider hat das Gyros den Spieß viel zu früh verlassen, das Fleisch war so eben durch und warm, keinerlei Farbe, Kruste , Röstaromen, schmeckte daher auch sehr fad und hatte auch optisch nichts mit Gyros zu tun,,

Wir waren hier nach Monaten erste mal wieder essen. Der Tisch war reserviert und wir konnten uns leckere Speisen aussuchen. Schnäpschen vom Haus, dann gar nicht lange warten und unsere Essen waren schon da. Kinderteller klasse, Kreta Teller und Fino Teller, alles lecker und schön angerichtet. Hatten einen schönen Abend und kommen wieder.

Hier muss man sehr viel Zeit einplanen, sofern man überhaupt bedient wird. Nach ca. 30min gab es noch nicht einmal etwas zu trinken, die Kellner gingen in ignorierender Art und Weise an einem vorbei. Nachdem ein Kellner angesprochen wurde, entschuldigte man sich höflich. Leider ging das Spiel nach dem Essen genauso wieder weiter. Das geschilderte Erlebnis hatten wir jetzt bereits zum 2x. Der komplette Aufenthalt für ein schnelles Abendessen lag bei 2,5 Stunden. Zu guter letzt hat man unser Essen, welches wir einpacken ließen, mit dem Essen eines anderen Gastes vertauscht. Absolutes No-Go!!

Wir besuchen das Artemis öfter,bisher wurden wir nicht von der guten Qualität der Speisen entäuscht.Besonders das Salatbufet ist zu empfehlen,es ist immer frisch zubereitet und wird immer nachgefüllt.Der Service ist aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Parkplätze sind vor dem Reastaurant geügend vorhanden.

Sehr netter Empfang, promte Bedienung, nette Antworten auf Fragen zur Karte. Das Essen war sehr lecker, besser als erwartet, hatten die Vorspeisenplatte, alleine das hätte uns schon gereicht, so viel und lecker war es, von allem was; Dann hatte ich eine gemischten Teller mit Gyros (sehr saftig), Leber und Hackküchle, dazu Djuvecreis. Mir hat etwas der Zaziki zum Gyros gefehlt, der ist so lecker (wr auf der Vorspeisenplatte). Mein Mann hatte Hackfleischküchle und Pommes. Als Nachtisch gabs eine heiße Schokolade und Tiramisu. Das ganze hat nichtmal 50€ gekostet und war mega lecker! Ouzo gabs aufs Haus mehrmals. Preisleistung TOP, kommen gerne wieder.
