We ordered for the first time three weeks ago and were super satisfied! So I thought we would order something different today! Big mistake, the schnitzels were swimming in fat (packaging) and the fries tasted like old oil! Either the chef changed or he had a damn bad day! The driver was super friendly and the food was still hot!

I haven't been to the restaurant yet, I always have it delivered.. I could now write as many good things about the food as it is delicious... no matter what I order, it always gives me a taste bud orgasm 😋😋😋

Yesterday I spontaneously had no children and went out for something delicious with my wife. I've heard about it several times and even though it's practically on the doorstep, I've never found my way there. First, when we arrived, the quaint old pub that I knew from before with a nice charm of the motto Pottromantik, I would particularly like to highlight the service! Such a nice young man! Really great! Nothing was missing, it started with a greeting from the kitchen and a small bowl of champion cream soup! Our main course, the schnitzel I had with pepper sauce, was excellent, very thin and super fried, really one of the best in the city! We will come again! Good luck!

We were in the restaurant for the first time on November 8th, 2024. Very nice restaurant. There is also a nice beer garden. The landlady told us that if you are lucky you can spot deer. We ordered our food. As a gift from the kitchen there was a small bowl of champion cream soup, super tasty. There was also a plate with small slices of bread and a really delicious garlic dip. Then the food came. The schnitzels are top notch. Each schnitzel weighs 200 g and is freshly pounded and freshly fried. Every schnitzel dish comes with a great, fresh small salad plate and you can choose between fries, croquettes or potato rosti as a side dish. We would definitely like to come back. A big compliment to the chef and his wife. Keep it up. The whole economy is decorated with things from mining ⚒. Today on December 12th, 2024 we went to eat again at Pütt. This time we had Räuberschnitzel and Metaxa schnitzel. Again, super tasty. We'll definitely be back soon. Keep it up. We were there for lunch with a larger group. The restaurant makes a nice impression, everything is decorated with pieces on the subject of mining and the Ruhr area. The staff was very friendly and I would particularly like to emphasize the child-friendliness! The little ones' food wishes were implemented very well, and they even offered books and painting materials to keep them busy. The food was very rich and delicious. The schnitzels are freshly prepared and the combinations offered taste excellent.

I don't understand at all why so many give 5 stars here. . So the Jägersschnitzel I got there was really the worst thing I've ever eaten. The sauce is terrible. I have absolutely nothing against offering ready-made products, but please also prepare them correctly. It says exactly how to do it on the package. The meat itself wasn't a hit either. Salad and fries were good but that's not an art. . I give two stars for the nice service. Maybe we were just unlucky. But I wouldn't risk it again because there are so many restaurants in the area that offer far better quality. Addendum to the owner's reaction. No, I was not paid for the post. But then I might understand why the store has so many good reviews. We were there in summer. If you've never had a dark sauce like this before, how does it come to the plate? And I wrote that we won't be visiting their store anymore. Maybe you should understand that something may have gone wrong that day. But how you react says a lot. We were there for the first time today and were really excited. Very nice staff and the food was really tasty. Portions are not small either. I would rate value for money as very good. You just shouldn't drive past there just at random and it's better to reserve a table in advance. We will definitely stop by again. Our children loved the schnitzel.

You can describe the ambience as "home-style", which is not everyone's "thing" (hence neutralizing one less star for the ambience, but we like it) but is a fitting description of the overall experience. The friendliness of the service, spontaneity (we were unable to reserve in advance for technical reasons) and short waiting times convinced us. The food was plentiful, tasty and filling. Everything to our liking in terms of quality and that's why we're happy to come back. It's always nice when you come and hear the kitchen knocking for the schnitzel 😀

An outdated but well-kept restaurant, which, however, lets you overlook it thanks to its good home-style cooking and friendly staff. The schnitzel variations range from well-known to unusual but interesting combinations. The robber schnitzel is right 😋. The prices for all the dishes on offer are really very reasonable and the portions are gigantic. We'll definitely be back!💯

“Am Pütt” is located in an “old pub”. The menu is very extensive with schnitzel variations, burgers and various other delicious dishes. The prices are fair and match what is offered. The service is quick and very attentive. Our first but certainly not last visit! Oh yes… we were there in the run-up to Christmas with appropriate, appropriate decorations. In summer there is also a small outdoor terrace, which is also barrier-free via a small ramp... more or less. As far as I could tell, the restaurant can only be reached via about 4 steps. There are parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant.

The whole inn is decorated with lots of things from the mining industry. The innkeepers were very nice. You can also bring your dog with you. A beer garden is available in summer.

We were in the Pütt at the weekend. Ambience is quite good. The service was great. The staff at Pütt were all very friendly and attentive. We were asked several times if everything was OK. We ordered 4 schnitzels. Beforehand there was the first greeting from the kitchen (rolls with a kind of aioli). The aioli is very watery and doesn't taste particularly good. Afterwards there was another greeting from the kitchen. A mushroom soup. It was a little weakly seasoned, but tasty. There was salt and pepper on the table for seasoning, but that wasn't quite what was missing. Each dish came with a mixed salad. Here, too, the dressing was a little weakly seasoned and the amount was not enough for so much salad. The main course was delicious. The fries were delicious and you can get mayo or ketchup with them at no extra charge. The quantities were very generous and for 4 people including dessert and a drink each we came to less than €100. Unfortunately, the apple strudel was not recommended. The ice cream had large ice crystals and the apple strudel was more mushy than crispy on the edge. Vanilla sauce and cream was okay. All in all, we would come back because the main course was really good and the staff are very nice.

We ate at Am Pütt last Sunday and this restaurant is highly recommended! In my opinion, they have the best schnitzels here, and I especially found the Canada schnitzel extremely tasty. We were there for the first time today for my birthday. We are thrilled, the fries were super fresh and crispy, the Jägerschnitzel was super tasty. Salad dressing could have more spice, more seasoning, I don't mean salt and pepper, it was on the table. The ambience is great with the mining stuff and I particularly liked the music, general charts. We'll definitely be back as there's still a lot to try out on the menu.

Today we went to "Am Pütt" for dinner once and we have to say we can't understand some of the negative reviews here. We actually wanted to order a schnitzel but after we saw how big the schnitzels were at the next table - we didn't have a tupper bowl with us - We switched to tagliatelle noodles (once with roasted onions and peppers and once with shrimp). Our conclusion: It was super tasty and more than plentiful. And everything was freshly prepared, which you could tell straight away from the fresh peppers etc. It was also ok that there was enough sauce. The schnitzels from the next table were also not frozen goods - that was what you heard from the kitchen when the schnitzels were being fried. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, too The owner, who we got to know, is a tough guy with whom you can have a quick chat. We'll definitely be back, that's for sure. Never again!! Ordered twice Forgot the sauce twice Money was given back for the sauce the first time, but the money didn't come until 3 hours later. Even though the driver was basically still standing at the bottom. The second time I didn't even pay for the sauce. After consulting with the boss, there was little understanding. The fries are soft soggy and cold. The only thing that is really good is the schnitzel, which was cold and, as I said, the sauce was missing. Just a disgrace

So I don't often rate restaurants. But I have to intervene here now. When I read some of the intellectual outpourings that some “guests” give here as negative reviews, I am speechless. We went there several times to get our fill of food. What do the negative reviewers expect here? This is a small, local restaurant. Rustic atmosphere as usual back then and very attractive to me. Anyone who says the schnitzels are pulled from the freezer is wrong... I heard the schnitzel beater coming from the kitchen. And yes, of course the croquettes are probably frozen... even high-priced restaurants use frozen croquettes. It's no longer affordable these days. And that doesn't mean bad quality at all. And if you complain that fries arrive “limp” when delivered... Fries steam out water and since it's difficult to put an open plate in the delivery van, it's inevitable that the fries will become softer within a few minutes . Tip here: Preheat the oven before delivery and simply put the fries in the oven at 180 degrees for 3-4 minutes... crispy. On the subject of sauces... I've always enjoyed them. But here too, the sauce has to go somewhere when it is delivered. And since we all don't want to use a lot of plastic unnecessarily, the sauce is best stored with schnitzel instead of in a separate container that might leak. If you don't like it... Ok, that's a subjective impression and it's okay. But what do the self-proclaimed gourmets expect here? Michelin cuisine or 5 star gastronomy? Of course delivery takes time. If you only have one driver, then it just takes time. And on top of that, as a restaurateur you also have to strike the balance between preparing “in time” and delivering quickly. I can only recommend it and will always be happy to come back to you.

There were seven of us and we were told at the beginning that everything would take a moment longer today because it was very crowded. I appreciate this transparency and so we were able to adapt to it. In addition, the whole team attached great importance to ensuring that the guests were satisfied. We were often asked if everything was okay, if we needed anything else and my daughter was also offered lollipops, toys and something to paint. The food was very good and everyone was full. The portions are large enough and the schnitzels are fried, not fried as usual. What is also worth mentioning are the “special” schnitzels, such as the “Schnitzel USA”, which is served with marshmallows. The atmosphere is a mixture of a pub and a home-style restaurant, which I personally really like. The bottom line is that we are looking forward to our next visit and can definitely recommend “Am Pütt”!

We ordered and it arrived cold. It didn't taste good at all, the fries were soggy and had no seasoning. The sauerbraten didn't taste good at all and the red cabbage was also disgusting. The tomato soup was actually just cold ketchup. The skin on the half chicken wasn't crispy at all. We threw everything away. We called and were told we would get the money back but it was still debited. I called again and the man on the phone accused me of lying. Just don't order it. They are absolutely unfriendly. If I could I would give minus stars.

If I could I would give 0 out of 5 stars. I ordered on Saturday. The food was cold to lukewarm at most. The food didn't taste good. The fries were unsalted, the sauerbraten was unseasoned and very tough and dry, the sauce had a strange aftertaste. The tomato soup wasn't a soup, but looked more like pureed tomatoes with pieces and didn't taste good either. The skin of half the chicken was totally limp and the meat itself was very dry. When we called on Saturday to explain everything, we were told that the order would be canceled. This was not done and when the money was withdrawn I called repeatedly. Suddenly everything was denied. “The food couldn’t have been cold,” “He can’t believe that the food wasn’t tasty,” “I should look at all the recessions.” Recessions or not. The food arrived cold and the food was NOT tasty. When I said this on the phone I was just told to complain to Lieferando and he just hung up on me. THIS is NOT customer friendliness. On Saturday you first said that the order would be canceled, then didn't do it and when you brought it up, you suddenly objected to everything and just hung up. I find that disrespectful to me.

A pity!!!! Today was the first but also the last time I ordered there! Delivery time over 120 minutes (although only 5.5 km away). The food was only lukewarm. The fries were soggy and soaked in oil. The cream sauce turned out to be gravy (ready sauce?). The tagliatelle noodles in tomato-pepper-onion sauce were poor and the price-quantity ratio (10 euros for a handful of noodles) wasn't right. Unfortunately I cannot recommend it as a delivery service.

We came to this restaurant through a tip and we rate our impression very much The beer garden is cozy, a bit like being on holiday. The food was very good portions, the salad was plenty and fresh. The drawback with our dishes was that the sauces were too much and much too thick. The schnitzel was almost drowned by the sauce. Unfortunately, the waiter didn't respond very well to our criticism. We'll definitely come back again, as there are still a lot of them on the menu exciting dishes.

My husband invited me and my mother-in-law to eat there yesterday because a few other restaurants he had chosen were unfortunately closed. We came especially from Lünen. Well, the atmosphere is as we imagined it and as the name suggested, a pub/restaurant from the Ruhr area. It would definitely have been nice to sit outside as it was quite green. But unfortunately the weather was not so good. However, I was disappointed with the food. I ordered a “Balkanschnitzel”. The schnitzel was ok. Maybe it could have been a little juicier (and a little bigger), but oh well. However, the “Balkan sauce” didn’t work at all. It basically consisted only of ketchup. With a few soft pieces of pepper in it. My mother-in-law was craving an onion schnitzel. She liked it. However, I have to say that I thought the amount of onions was manageable. She had ordered croquettes with it, I assume they were frozen. The fries were OK. However, I would have liked real mayo with it, not the pre-packaged bags that were already on the table. The salad was so làlà. A bit unimaginative. Lots of green lettuce, a tasteless tomato, grated carrots and radishes and some corn. Didn't knock me off my feet. After dinner I looked at the dessert menu but refrained from it. The pictures alone promised convenience food at its finest. There was chocolate mousse, semolina balls, baked bananas and apple strudel. I would have preferred to pay a little more and get better quality. That's my conclusion of the restaurant. I wouldn't necessarily come and visit the restaurant anymore. By the way, the service staff was very nice and attentive.

Unfortunately I can't give any information about the food. Food was ordered via Lieferando (delivery time stated when ordering was 35-50 minutes). After the order was placed, the delivery time was 90 minutes!!! After 110 minutes we asked by phone when food was coming. The boss said the food didn't come even after 150 minutes (time 10:00 p.m.). Allegedly because of a driver's accident, it was claimed after some time when there were no more arguments. When you weren't happy, the boss himself became very loud on the phone. Never eaten at the Pütt before and it's now done. Unfortunately, I read in the reviews on Lieferando that it happens very, very often. Accident questionable?! A pity! To the answer from the owner: And now it's being blamed on the storm?! I thought a driver had an accident... If asking me not to yell at me like that is “extremely offensive,” that says it all! A SIMPLE APOLOGY would have done the trick!! FYI I canceled the meal. I had to figure out how to get my money back myself.

Perfect schnitzels (freshly pounded and fried in the pan) in many, sometimes daring but always super tasty variations, great burgers and much more from the real Ruhrpott cuisine. Super nice, relaxed and always in a good mood service. The beer is freshly tapped, the ambience is absolutely authentic, like a journey back in time to the 70s with loving decorations from the buddy milieu. You really feel welcome and comfortable here! We discovered it a few years ago, back then there were still some beer tent sets in front of the fence and there was a sandpit next to it for the little ones. I was impressed by the atmosphere from the first moment. And after we ate, I thought it was one of the greatest restaurants ever! 👍♥️ Since then we have been driving over to Waltrop every now and then and enjoying the quality of the products and the warm service. The people who are so disappointed with the delivery service here should just get dressed and drive over! You feel like you're visiting friends anyway and everything comes to your plate in the usual quality.

Cozy, clean, friendly and fast service, fair prices. But I have to complain about one small thing. I had the celery schnitzel with salad and hash browns for 12.90 euros. I had a small breaded slice of celery, which was definitely not enough! But the schnitzels with meat are big.

I've been avoiding meat for a few months and had dinner here today on the occasion of a birthday. I ordered the vegetarian celery "schnitzel" which I really enjoyed and I didn't feel like I had to go without in any way. The portion was perfect and the side salad was fresh and delicious. Only the vegetable burger would have 'could have had another moment'. The fries were also excellent. However, we particularly liked the absolutely fresh salad. All in all, highly recommended, the delivery took place before the specified time. We look forward to eating on the terrace in the summer!

Food was tasty and plentiful. Timo, the waiter nice and friendly. Will definitely come back.

The delivery service is a disaster. 1 hour was scheduled. After an hour and a half I asked once and they said the food was the next thing out and asked again after 2 hours. Then they said the driver had taken the food with him but hadn't delivered it yet. After over 2 hours the food was delivered. Ordered three meals with mayonnaise, only two bags of mayonnaise with me. Quality is okay but for us it is no longer an option to order here. If you can't get it organized, you should admit it to yourself and simply stop the delivery service.

We really enjoyed our visit with the whole family, including the dog, to Am Pütt. Food: The food we ordered came quickly and was delicious. Service: The service for people and animals was perfect. We would be served quickly and given water and treats for our four-legged friend. Ambiance: The ambience is a Ruhrpott original, with many pieces from the mining industry. Interesting to look at but must be enjoyed.

Six of us were there yesterday and I was there for the first time after people raved to me about how great it would be there. From the outside it makes a chic impression. Quite exciting and cozy from the inside. The welcome was warm and the service was friendly. I ordered the shrimp schnitzel. The portion is appropriate, you can taste that it's fresh and homemade.☺️ I'm thrilled and will definitely be coming back! 🤗
