Das Pottkind eignet sich hervorragend für ein Essen der besonderen Art in lockerem, sehr freundlichem Ambiente mit einem jungen, aufmerksamen Team.
Das Überraschungsmenü war sehr abwechslungsreich und alles war schön und detailverliebt angerichtet.
Wenn man wie wir die Möglichkeit hat, bei schönem Wetter draußen zu sitzen, kann man das rege Treiben der Südstadt verfolgen und in unserem Fall hat sogar noch ein sehr netter, freundlicher Herr am Tisch mit seiner Gitarre musikalisch sein bestes gegeben.
Wir hatten hier einen sehr schönen Abend und auch der Stern ist sicherlich gerechtfertigt. Vielen Dank.
I would actually like to give it 5 stars because it really has the best vegan pizza in Cologne. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat them until now. After that I went there three times and each time the vegan cheese was out. Once I was only told this after we had already waited 30 minutes for our food. Each time I was charged full price despite the lack of cheese. Really a shame :(
Update: there was again no vegan cheese on our last visit and we still paid the full price. I don't know if this cheese still exists.
This restaurant is beautifully located. However, the food there is a disaster. The Boquerones are limp and taste old. The Albondigas have the consistency of Königsberger Klopse from the canteen and the Chipirones only had a lot of breading. Anyone who has eaten papas bravas (real papas bravas) once in their life will be reminded of their children's first fried potatoes in this restaurant. The only thing that helps is to look deep into the glass. The good location and a bottle or two of wine cover up the bad taste in your mouth and make you forget it for a moment. Still, I had to write this - unfortunately.
Nice corner pub.. Food was good, delicious Peters Kölsch and a Köbbesin who rocked the place inside and out on her own (and it was really really full). Really a tip...
The food is really good, but I gave it 3 stars because my lahmacun experience was not very tasty, but if you prefer lahmacun without salad, it is very good.
The only downside to this place is that the restaurant is run by 3 nice people, which means there can be relatively longer waiting times when times are busier. However, you are welcomed by a nice older couple and the food is worth the wait. Tip: If you use the hot sauce, REALLY use a little at first
I wonder what genius came up with the idea of introducing the new map. It is totally misleading because the pictures either do not match the description or the dish does not even exist in that form. After placing an incorrect order, the employee behind the counter was kind enough to take a completely new order from me. I couldn't have tolerated the other dish.
