If you love pizza you should stop by here. There is also a vegan pizza on the menu that is awesome. It would be awesome if there were more vegan pizzas to choose from. If you want to make sure you get a pizza you should get there early. On busy days it can end very early.

We were full of anticipation at the Ristorante D'Amore in Cologne-Mülheim - and instead we were disappointed in the worst possible way. A waitress treated us rudely and disrespectfully from the start. For no reason at all, I was spoken to in an extremely insulting manner - literally: "You're stupid, get out." When asked, she even claimed that she was the manager of the house. I've never experienced anything like this before. That's not how you talk to guests - it was condescending, hurtful and completely unprofessional. We left the restaurant immediately. It's shocking that this kind of behavior is tolerated in a public place. Never again D’Amore – and I recommend that anyone who values ​​respect and hospitality give this restaurant a wide berth. Vegan cheese at no extra charge and the best pizza around! Unfortunately, whenever we are there there is a waiting time of at least 30 minutes.

Probably the most special Neapolitan pizza we have ever tasted. I'm a fan of this style anyway, but the constellations all sounded great, so we had a hard time deciding. The taste was also convincing and that's why we'll definitely come back to try it again. We had a table outside and were able to enjoy the last rays of sunshine. The service was also great - friendly & attentive. Absolute recommendation!

Beautiful to sit outside here in summer. Impressive pizzas! 🍕 Really good. One point deducted because the pizzas always taste the same after several bites. Good! But right away. Maybe that can be changed ;) The service was nice, we just had to wait a little long a few times for someone to come. I also recommend asking your guests every now and then whether everything is OK. That makes a good impression and would match the high standard of the kitchen.

Super tasty pizza with unfortunately too long of a wait (1-2 hours)

It's normal and understandable that it's full on a Saturday evening. However, we waited almost 2 hours for two pizzas and a pasta dish. The starter plate came quickly, but the main courses unfortunately took more than an hour to arrive. The pizza was served without suitable cutlery (because apparently none were clean) and only served when asked (warm from the dishwasher, okay...) Overall, very disappointing service, which was almost cheeky in some places. The food was okay and the service got better too. Overall two stars, if it had been quicker and the service was friendlier given the circumstances I would like to give more stars.

Very tasty and beautifully prepared pizzas, at a reasonable price, with friendly staff, a pleasant atmosphere and an interesting interior.

The pizzas were delicious and the creations were unique. We reserved a table for the evening. We sat inside, and the seating arrangement was extremely tight, which was a bit uncomfortable. Also, all the staff were wearing sweatpants, which I also found a bit inappropriate in this context. Overall, a really good pizza, but one star deducted due to the somewhat uncomfortable atmosphere caused by the tight seating arrangement.

The pizza was good, but I wasn't crazy about it, I don't know if that's the case (I hope not) but in the wrong margherita the red part looked like red tomato pesto to me. Very friendly and nice staff. Above all, a really very kind waitress. Nice environment but too quiet, we almost couldn't talk for fear of disturbing.

We ate there for the first time today and it was delicious! We had four different pizzas and they were all really good. The only thing that's a shame is that the reservation was only valid for 1 1/2 hours (it wasn't clear when we made the reservation) and we were then thrown out. But you'll know for next time.

I would actually like to give it 5 stars because it really has the best vegan pizza in Cologne. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat them until now. After that I went there three times and each time the vegan cheese was out. Once I was only told this after we had already waited 30 minutes for our food. Each time I was charged full price despite the lack of cheese. Really a shame :( Update: there was again no vegan cheese on our last visit and we still paid the full price. I don't know if this cheese still exists.

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the pizzas were very impressive. A very unusual selection. We will definitely come back!

We've always enjoyed eating here because they have the best pizza! We raved about Damore to all of our friends and acquaintances and ate here very often. So this evening we wanted to go out to dinner there with two families we were friends with. On November 18th I made a reservation and wrote in the reservation that we were coming with 11 people and would be happy to take 2 tables. Today at 2 p.m.!!!, 4 hours before our reservation!!! I got a call that they don't have room for us! Why is this noticed 4 hours in advance when we had reserved over 2 weeks ago??? I was told I would be called again in 30 minutes. At half past three I tried twice. Nobody answered the phone. I was called back at 4 p.m. 2 hours before our reservation!! We were canceled!! I think it's a disgrace to cancel us at such short notice and I'm very angry about it!!!!!! Unfortunately I can no longer recommend the Damore!!!!!

A reservation made weeks ago will be canceled 3 hours in advance. To deny any responsibility for a ruined evening by pointing out that reservations are always only checked on the same day. Not even making a promised call back... You guys are really great! I've never experienced anything like that. Not even offered anything as an apology.

It hasn't been an insider tip when it comes to pizza culture in Cologne for a long time. Unusual pizza creations that are visually striking and provide real culinary delight. The whole thing is served lovingly and unobtrusively! Simply great.

We happened to be in Mülheim and were looking for a pizza - we found it through mitvergnügen. When we arrived, I was a bit skeptical, as the restaurant looks rather unassuming from the outside. But ultimately, it's all about the pizza, and it was outstanding! A Neapolitan pizza gem on Schäl Sick! The prices are completely reasonable in my opinion, and the service is attentive and friendly. I would come back anytime.

I just wanted to have a little something to drink with my kids while passing through, I wouldn't have spent 10 minutes there, but unfortunately we weren't allowed to occupy a table outside if we didn't eat anything with it, according to the waitress! She only offered us a standing table but my kids weren't interested in that! And that's why I can't give it more than one star!

Delicious pizza, perhaps the best in Cologne so far! We were allowed to sit inside with a baby and toddler, even though everything was reserved, and use the time until the table was occupied. We were served very quickly even though it was busy. We'll definitely be back for dessert and non-alcoholic cocktails!

A week ago reserved for on September 7th, 2024 for 8:30 p.m. today, September 7th, 24th reservation canceled at short notice at around 5:30 p.m. Arrival was 200km for a festival, which is why the juice shop was reserved earlier

The one server said he was part of happy hour. I got it, then shortly afterwards another waitress came and told me that this cocktail was more expensive and wasn't part of happy hour. I then said that it was the waiter's fault and not mine and she reacted extremely arrogantly and snatched the cocktail away from me. 😄 The colleagues were nice.

I absolutely loved this pizzeria! The pizza is super tasty and authentically Neapolitan, with a perfect, fluffy dough - not too runny in the middle, as is often the case. The prices are fair and the staff is very friendly. In addition to classic varieties, there are also unusual creations such as truffle pizza and pistachio pizza that simply taste fantastic. What's particularly cool is that you get a large pair of scissors with which you can easily cut the pizza. I hope the quality stays as good ;)

The two of us spontaneously went there for dinner and it tasted really wonderful! Absolutely recommended pizza. There were some difficulties with the meal, but the service took care of that and was very accommodating, so it was a great evening for us.

My girlfriend and I had an excellent dinner on a Saturday in the city of Cologne and the truth is that we fell in love with the attention, the decoration and the delicious food. We tried two pizzas, one vegetarian and one with meat and we were very satisfied with the quality of the ingredients. We definitely have to go back to try more menu options

The pizza is without a doubt one of the best I've ever had in Cologne. It's really worth trying out the menu here. The service was great on all my visits! Very attentive and friendly staff. I deducted one star because the pizzeria is unfortunately surrounded by rather unsightly buildings and appears to have converted an old Kölsch pub, which simply doesn't do justice to the quality of the gastronomy here. Either way, I will definitely come back and just take my pizza a few meters to the banks of the Rhine and eat it there in the appropriate atmosphere.

Really one of the best pizzas in Cologne. I love coming here, but unfortunately I have to say something negative today: Repeatedly on different days no one answers the phone if you want to order in advance. When I asked, I was told that the number was correct and that I could also call. What's wrong with that? When I went there one evening I was told "sorry, but unfortunately there is no pizza anymore today, only pasta". 2 hours before closing time. So I had to go somewhere else...it's a shame because the pizza is really very good. I will continue to come but I would like the service to be a little better, especially on the phone.

Everything here is a 10/10, from the delicious pizzas to the thoughtful wine list to the super delicious cocktails, and of course a piece of homemade tiramisu is a must! I celebrated my birthday here with 10 people and they went above and beyond to make it a very special evening - everyone agreed it was the best pizza they had ever eaten!

I had dinner with friends at Restaurant D'Amore about 2 weeks ago. I ordered "Tagliatelle D'Amore" and was very hungry waiting for the meal. Unfortunately the pasta didn't live up to what the name promised, namely Love "D'Amore". After eating, the pasta was very heavy on my stomach, so that after a few hours I had to vomit the food like a gush. Unfortunately, the vomiting continued throughout the night and several times. To make matters worse, I also had diarrhea - the day was over for me. I have made the decision to never eat there again, even if this restaurant were the only one in the world. No thanks! I or we have decided to eat regularly at Localino, just a stone's throw away.

The pizza was very tasty, although I ordered the "D'Amore" pizza with beef. I was made a parma (pork) pizza instead and sold for the same price. This was annoying because I don't eat pork and still had to pay the expensive price. I then had to ask my girlfriend to swap the pizza with me (Margherita). This was very annoying and therefore leads to a lower rating point.
