Thai Street Food in Köln

We eat here regularly. The food is good. But today, we just asked about food. This staff member was not friendly to us at all. He was loud and dancing while we were eating there

Fast and very tasty, authentic Thai food 🤩

I ordered duck with rice, unfortunately there was so little meat added (see picture). And chicken skewers that unfortunately somehow didn't taste like chicken. We also ordered fried noodles, which had a burnt taste. Very unfortunate, because at least we left 30 euros behind. Normally we are used to something different from the store because this was not our first order

We ordered three soups to take away, despite asking several times whether the soup should be with tofu, unfortunately all three soups ended up with chicken.

I came several times to this place, I tried their pad thai chicken, padthai tofu, tom yum, and some red curry with duck. Pad thai and Tom Yum was edible, I tried better. But then I tried the red curry with duck and it was great. I always ordered this since. But I just had my last visit tonight. I order my usual, as usual, I point and tell the guy my ordered. I took it and when i opened it at home it was not my order. I returned to the place and told the guy it was not my order. But he insisted that it was what I ordered, although I told him that when I ordered I also point my finger on the number. (If he insist it was because of my pronunciation). Unfortunate, that will end my visit.

Very, very good and authentic Thai food. Never been disappointed in 3 years. Favorite dishes are definitely Pad Thai tofu, fried rice with Thai basil, chok with tofu and rice with vegetable tofu omelet. The staff is also super nice and the waiting times are very short. Dear!

If you like to eat quick, tasty and well-seasoned Thai dishes, then you've come to the right place. I had fried rice with shrimps for €10.50. Good portion, tasty. Great value for money.

Been there twice, always tasty and quick

Food is ok But after I paid and waited for the food (curry with rice) for 15 minutes, I was told rice is not there and I will get noodles. I asked to change the order to a soup (cheaper option). Was declined and I had to take curry with noodles

As the name suggests, the best Thai street food in the area, if not in all of Germany. Very authentic and can't be beaten in terms of price.

Small shop but big food. Super tasty and authentic and as far as I know the only Thai in Cologne that offers sticky rice. MUST for Thai food lovers.

Finally really authentic food like you get in Thailand! Price-performance is unbeatable. Serving the food on plastic plates makes you feel like you are at a street food market. We decided: If we're going to eat Thai, then only here.

The food is super tasty and with lots of fresh vegetables. The best thing there is the Tom Kha Gai soup. Never eaten something so delicious anywhere!

Very authentic Thai snack. I was cooking in Bangkok a week ago and immediately had cravings for Thai food again. This store is perfect for that. No matter what you choose, everything tastes like you would eat it locally in Thailand. I actually found the pad krapaow almost better than in a shop in Bangkok. The classic Pad Thai is unbeatable here. So this shop is definitely recommended for all Thai food lovers!!

Everything was super delicious!!!

Tried the fried rice the first time. They came as a bit bland originally. The combination with the chili sauce tasted halfway good and the flavor improved a bit. Was a middling sorta food the first time. The second time ordered the Thai coconut curry soup with veggies, rice noodles and crispy chicken(no.76). The taste overall was quite good. The overtones of roasted, crispy garlic in combination with a very well balanced curry was nearly perfect. Was thoroughly an enjoyable experience the second time. The service is also quite quick and good overall. A good place to try good Thai food. Incredible food on the consequent visits, one of the better restaurants in Cologne!!

The food was very good and authentic. Unfortunately, the spiciness was completely missing, but it was better for the inexperienced German palate (as far as spiciness is concerned). The waiting time until the dishes are ready is short. There is also a small selection of exotic drinks. Price/performance is extremely good. Top local

Really disappointing. The staff is nice, which is the one plus. But the dishes I had were just not very good. I ordered a chicken appetizer that did not really taste freshly made and wasn't crispy, and something that was supposed to be pad see ew but had much thicker noodles, large chunks of carrot, and also large chunks of hard cabbage.... Just not at all what I understand that dish to be. It felt plumped up with cheap vegetables that weren't even cooked in a way that would make them add to the dish. Very sad, as I had looked forward to Thai food

Love, love and more love! So far I haven't found such an authentic Thai snack bar in Germany. The food is prepared super quickly and tastes simply heavenly. I've been there several times and haven't been disappointed with any dish so far. And the prices are unimaginably cheap for what you get in terms of fresh vegetables and sophisticated flavors! I'll definitely try the entire menu. :)

I love this place, it keeps its cultural heritage alive and does not try to be European. I can highly recommend all dishes with their homemade soy sauce - just delicious!

I'm currently sitting at Thai street food and I'm totally happy again! The sushi was abolished, but more Thai classics were added to the menu! The store is seeing me more often again, damn Ehrenfeld! I'm just sitting in Thai street food and I'm pretty horrified! Here you can find, in addition to Thai food, suddenly also sushi!!! Damn field of honor 😡 Relatively new Thai snack bar in Cologne Ehrenfeld. Has a good focus on typical Thai soups and you rarely find that in Cologne. The boss is a likeable guy and I wish him good luck with the business. Unfortunately only high tables. Support your local Thai food!

Worst massaman ever, thin, tasteless and watery sauce. At first I was happy that they were Thais and not Vietnamese, but I realized that Vietnamese currently offer better Thai cuisine. A pity!

The food is delicious and they have a very good price-performance ratio. Two starters and two main courses including two drinks cost around €40. There are only 5 tables, but you don't have to wait too long

Mir wurde der Laden letztens von einem Freund empfohlen und ich war heute zum ersten Mal da. Das Pad Thai ( mit extra Gemüse) war so extrem lecker und gut, dass ich einen Post dalassen musste. ( mach ich sonst nie!) Mit Abstand bestes Thai essen was ich je in Deutschland gegessen habe.

Simplemente el mejor Thai que hay. Mínimo como una vez por semana. He probado muchos Thai, y este es el mejor y más tradicional. Por favor dejen de ir , que no hay espacio para sentarse 😅

Das Essen war gut! Zuvor jedoch sehr viel von dem Laden gehört. Aber das Essen hat mich leider nicht so überzeugt wie ich gedacht habe oder erwartet hatte. Es war eigentlich so wie bei jedem anderen guten Thai Imbiss...

Klein aber fein. Vorspeise hervorragend und das knusprige Hähnchen und die knusprige Ente können wir nur weiter empfehlen. Die Menge der Gewürze war erstklassig.

Essen ist sehr authentisch und super lecker. Hier heißt scharf auch richtig scharf. Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig. Würde ich immer wieder hingehen.

Das Essen sieht großartig und authentisch aus, mein Wunsch nach thailändischer Schärfe wurde erfüllt. Leider hatte das Gemüse und das Fleisch keinen Geschmack und der Reis war sehr hart. Schade! Sonst hätte dieses cool eingerichtete Lokal mein Lieblings-Thai werden können. Das Essen wird sehr schnell zubereitet. Günstige Preise.

Sehr leckeres Thai zu einem guten Preis. Der Laden ist jetzt nicht krass gemütlich, aber gerade draußen kann man trotzdem ganz gut sitzen. Empfehlung!

Gebratener Reis ohne Geschmack oder Brataromen. Knuspriges Hähnchen waren frittierte undefinierte Klumpen. Schlechtestes Asiatisches Essen was ich jemals gegessen habe.

Alles in allem ein sehr guter Thai Imbiss. Sauber, klein und Platz für ca 18-20 Personen. Da ich ein großer Pad Thai Fan bin, habe ich mir das thailändische National Gericht bestellt. Ich wurde überaus positiv überrascht. Für mich das beste Pad Thai was ich außerhalb von Thailand gegessen habe.

Positives: - generous portions - reliable pick-up slots - plenty of fresh vegetables - Asian spiciness levels Negatives: - messed up order (okay, can happen) - watery curries - really poor chicken meat quality (stringy, rubbery and flaky like fish) - old frying oil (dark deep-fried batter with fishy taste) For me it’s no recall.

Wir sind regelmäßig in Thailand unterwegs und daher stets auf der Suche nach möglichst authentischen Thai Food. Von diesem Restaurant sind wir absolut begeistert. Die Einrichtung des kleinen Restaurants erinnert sehr an die kleinen Restaurants und Street Food Stände in Bangkok. Die Mitarbeiter haben wir als sehr freundlich und stets mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht wahrgenommen. Empfehlen können wir das Pad Krapao und den Papaya Salat (sehr erfrischend). Aus Wunsch werden die Speisen schön scharf zubereitet, was den Koch sehr gefreut hat :). Wer für einige Stunden in Thailand abtauchen möchte, sollte hier definitiv vorbeischauen.

Mein persönliches Lieblings-Thairestaurant. An jeden, der schon mal in Thailand war und das Essen vermisst, geht dahin. Mein Favorit ist das Pad See Ew, aber auch Klassiker wie Kao Soi, Kao Moo Daeng und natürlich Pad Thai findet man auf der Karte. Der Laden hat außerdem zahlreiche kleine Details, durch die man sich fast wie in Thailand fühlt, z.B. die kleinen Geckos an den Lampen auf dem Klo. Preislich fair, Essen kommt schnell und man kann quasi direkt in die Küche gucken.

Authentische Thai-Küche, die mich an meine Reisen nach Thailand erinnert. Sehr lecker.

Super lecker aber nur zufällig gefunden

Unfortunately I can’t agree with the good rating. My dish had nothing to do with the ordered pad see ew (wrong noodles, not the proper preparation) and in addition tasted really bland. The other dish (rice with vegetable) was terrible as well. Overly sweet and barely Thai flavors. I lived in Thailand and have tasted many Thai restaurants in Cologne. This one is one of the worst.

Bis heute waren wir eigentlich immer zufrieden, nachdem wir heute unser essen zum Mitnehmen bestellt hatten und das knusprige Hähnchen nicht wie gewohnt extra eingepackt war, sondern in der Sauce komplett aufgequollen, war die Enttäuschung groß, aber da das scheinbar noch nicht genug war gab es in beiden Gerichten noch ein Haar als extra Einlage.
