Shahba just got better!
I've always been happy, but after the new menu I'm a real fan! The taste of the dishes is on a new level - fresh, perfectly seasoned and simply incredibly delicious.
Regardless of whether you are a regular customer or a newbie – you MUST try it! Absolute recommendation!

I give it 3 stars for the ambience, as it was beautifully decorated, the rooms were clean, etc. :)
But everything else was catastrophic...
We as a group pre-ordered our food on the phone days in advance, despite this we got our food right at the end and were almost the last ones sitting there in the restaurant!
We all waited 2 hours for our food... since my food had to be eaten again, I was asked twice whether I wanted de carne or con carne and I answered CON CARNE, even though I had de carne on the plate, so I got mine The food was only lukewarm at 8:30 p.m. and we were in the restaurant at 6 p.m. ! I didn't care about lukewarm since I'm not much of a hot eater anyway, but someone else would definitely have complained, you could bite into the tomatoes even though they are usually the hottest because they contain water. The tomatoes were also crunchy. My red beans were missing from the filling... my dish had sweet potatoes on the menu, but there were 6 potato wedges on my plate. Now I was tired of it because I was very hungry.
There is no drinks menu, so if you want to choose the cheapest one (for whatever reason) it won't work. And when you ask what they have, you get the answer: we have everything... well, there wasn't dark beer after all 😂 but they have EVERYTHING. As compensation there was homemade schnapps, which was really bad for non-alcohol drinkers... and much more... 😒 Conclusion: I left my money there for the first and last time. Even having only two waitresses for so many people is also a joke.
Tasty, varied selection, nice ambience with the comfortable sofas and subtle traditional music in the background, only the toilet floors could use a broom BUT the beer is perfectly tapped!!!
We ordered via Lieferando. After 2 hours the food still wasn't there. In two calls, each 30 minutes apart, we were told the food had just been out and was on its way. (Travel time is 3 minutes.)
Later they said the food wasn't ready at all. Cancellation was possible, but of course I couldn't get it back. This should be handled via Lieferando.

Unfortunately, Mom Jansen left us a few days ago. It's a real shame, there were good times here with delicious food, Isenbeck and rustic guests. And of course not to forget...Kamen's fastest waiter, Günther. There won't be anything like that again.
The food is not good. Today I had salmon with dumplings and vegetables. Totally overcooked and mushy. Salmon was okay. The Cola without sugar from the machine also tasted like water.
The food there was really tasty, I had a beef pizza in size M. But I have to honestly say that I could have eaten in a nicer and better restaurant for a total of €27. The menu was a bit complicated, but maybe that's just because of the American style. On Sunday afternoon there was somehow only one staff member responsible for the entire store, which led to slightly longer waiting times.
A person from the kitchen also greeted us somewhat strangely. It would be better if the waiters took care of this in the future.
So I think 3 stars are quite appropriate.
Man eröffnet und bietet eine gute Mittagsmahlzeit.....man wir nach für nach immer etwas schlechter...nach wenigen Wochen öffnet man nur noch unregelmäßig...nach einigen Monaten ist dann, ohne Hinweis auf den Grund, komplett geschlossen....Wer hätte das gedacht, in der Gastronomie muss mann tatsächlich arbeiten.
Gibt es für derartes Vehalten auch Gründungsdarlehen.....???
