Lokaltermin in Kamen

I give it 3 stars for the ambience, as it was beautifully decorated, the rooms were clean, etc. :) But everything else was catastrophic... We as a group pre-ordered our food on the phone days in advance, despite this we got our food right at the end and were almost the last ones sitting there in the restaurant! We all waited 2 hours for our food... since my food had to be eaten again, I was asked twice whether I wanted de carne or con carne and I answered CON CARNE, even though I had de carne on the plate, so I got mine The food was only lukewarm at 8:30 p.m. and we were in the restaurant at 6 p.m. ! I didn't care about lukewarm since I'm not much of a hot eater anyway, but someone else would definitely have complained, you could bite into the tomatoes even though they are usually the hottest because they contain water. The tomatoes were also crunchy. My red beans were missing from the filling... my dish had sweet potatoes on the menu, but there were 6 potato wedges on my plate. Now I was tired of it because I was very hungry. There is no drinks menu, so if you want to choose the cheapest one (for whatever reason) it won't work. And when you ask what they have, you get the answer: we have everything... well, there wasn't dark beer after all 😂 but they have EVERYTHING. As compensation there was homemade schnapps, which was really bad for non-alcohol drinkers... and much more... 😒 Conclusion: I left my money there for the first and last time. Even having only two waitresses for so many people is also a joke.

Super Service … I can only recommend it to everyone…

Whether a table for two, an evening with friends, a celebration in a small group or a large group, you will be well entertained and looked after here. Feel-good atmosphere with great, warm service and delicious food. We'd love to come back.

Kamen is the only place to go in the center, the city is very peaceful and quiet, but the place is very successful, the staff is very attentive, friendly and takes care of us, thank you very much.

With full marks you don't really need to add anything else 😊 the service was super nice and friendly, the food was perfect, large portions, beautifully prepared and really tasty 😋 😋 😋 we will definitely visit this restaurant again on our next visit to my home country ❤️ really recommended. I was now able to hold the JTL regulars' table at the local venue for the second time. The rooms above the location were specially made available to us. This meant that other events could take place at the same time. The food was as usual good (I had a schnitzel on my part). The service was new and quite young. Accordingly, further work needs to be done on the experience. It's not easy to find new staff these days. We'd love to come back if we're allowed 😊

We were there a few times for lunch, you can choose one of two dishes and then put it together on your plate at the buffet. The food has always been good so far. The waitress always stands behind you and makes sure you don't put anything wrong on your plate. Yesterday was the last time for us: The menu reads: “Minced meat rolls with cucumber salad and Djuwet rice”. The waitress stands behind us and remarks: "But don't put such mountains on your plate again. Only a maximum of 2 minced meat rolls, that's what it says on the menu!". It wasn't on the online map at all. Each minced meat roll was the size of half a mini meatball. We also observed other guests as they piled up their plates of rice in disappointment in order to have something in their stomachs. We felt ill-served and left hungry after the meager meal.

The waitress is super rude and really pays attention to what you have on your plate. It's really not a buffet. Food is OK but nothing special. The problem point really lies with the service.

Overall, I give it 5 stars because everything was consistent throughout. I took part in a meeting in the town hall, which was supervised by Kümper's local appointment in one of the rooms there. The food was good and at a reasonable temperature, despite the challenge of getting everything into the room using the elevator. I was impressed by how the small kitchen managed to prepare food for everyone present. The young man who looked after us seemed a bit overwhelmed, but handled the situation well. The assessment should also take his age into account - it is to be expected that not everything will go perfectly straight away, which is completely understandable.

Cold food, poor and rude service.

This week we tried the lunch menu, which is self-service. The price/performance ratio was right. The taste was satisfactory. We found the pricing confusing. It was only at the checkout that we were informed that a small glass of apple spritzer with lunch costs 1.50. The dining room was unpleasantly perfumed to our liking. There are only 2 different desserts, these are a la carte and expensive. A small ice cream or something similar - none! The waitress sent us to the toilet in the basement one floor below. Unfortunately, these were locked and we had to get more information at the city administration's information desk. Overall, we can't give it more than 2 stars.

Fantastic, beautiful restaurant, super delicious food and such great staff!! Always trying hard, helpful, friendly and fun to work with. We would love to come back!!

The lunch menu is highly recommended. The operation is just great.

We were there for dinner with several people in the evening. The table was beautifully set and the staff was friendly. About the dishes: Schnitzel was well fried, but that was it. Fries not salted, lukewarm and hard. It's completely unclear to me what "chefs" think is great about fine-cut fries. The salad with the dish was tasteless with some indefinable dressing. The stuffed zucchini were good, but should be served as a starter, as this portion won't fill up even those who eat less. The kitchen still has a lot of room for improvement, also in terms of the price/performance ratio. Conclusion: If you want to meet up with friends, drink a beer and have a bite to eat, this is the place for you. As a restaurant visitor with some expectations, not so much.

Die Bewertung gilt für das Essen auf der Kegelbahn. Wir haben über 2 Stunden auf das Essen warten müssen, welches dann leider geschmacklich und optisch unmöglich war. Als Begründung wurde eine Parallelveranstaltung in der Stadthalle genannt. Die Reklamation hat man zwar entgegen genommen, aber wegen Zeitmangel konnte man nicht darauf eingehen und wollte uns auf einen späteren Zeitpunkt vertrösten.

Wir (meine Frau und die beiden Töchter) waren am 1. Weihnachtsfeiertag hier zum Essen. Es wurde ein Weihnachtsbuffet angeboten, welches wir im letzten Jahr schon im „Kümper‘s“ zu Weihnachten besucht hatten. Dieses Jahr war es im Lokaltermin in Kamen und es war eine reine Katastrophe. Was ist passiert? Wenn man zum „Lokaltermin“ kommt und das Lokal betreten möchte, muss man sich erst einmal durch eine große Gruppe Raucher „mogeln“…. Das was schon nicht so nett. Der Tisch, der uns zugewiesen wurde, war gut… Wir kamen um 14.00 Uhr (Weihnachtsbuffet ist von 12-16 Uhr). Der Service war auch gut, es wurde regelmässig gefragt, ob wir noch etwas trinken möchten. Das Buffet war im Bereich der Stadthalle aufgebaut. Leider waren die Räumlichkeiten dort nicht beheizt. Die Warmhalte-Geräte für die Hauptspeisen waren alle „ohne Deckel“ und die Brenner unter den Behältern waren fast alle aus. Somit war natürlich auch das Essen lauwarm bis kalt. Um 14:00 Uhr war auch schon kein Wildgulasch mehr da, das andere Boef-de-Cognac war schon stark dezimiert und ausgetrocknet. Als jemand aus der Küche kam und Filet nachlegte wurde uns als Begründung - in einem relativ patzigen Ton - genannt: „Tja, das ist halt so, wenn das Essen schon seit 12 Uhr hier steht!“ Danach verschwand der gute Mann wieder in der Küche. Auch von 3 verschiedenen Desserts war nur noch eines verfügbar - zzgl. einer kleinen Käseauswahl. Einzig die Vorspeisen waren soweit gut….. Also: für 35 Euro/Person war es eine absolute Frechheit. Auch andere Gäste haben sich über das Buffet beschwert (wir konnten alles mitbekommen, da wir im Kassenbereich gesessen haben!) Im Kümper‘s war das Weihnnachtsbuffet absolut klasse - hier im Lokaltermin war es nur zum Abgewöhnen. Schade. Ich habe trotzdem 190€ bezahlt, weil der Service kann nichts für die schlechte Organisiation zum Buffet. Der Service war - wie gesagt - in Ordnung (und das auch noch am Feiertag!). Daher danke an den Service.

Essen war sehr gut, Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis 👍 Leider keine Getränkekarte, Preise können nur erfragt werden. Netter Abend mit gebuchter Kegelbahn im Untergeschoss.

Ich bin sehr positiv überrascht. Beste Speisen mit super netten Service und das zu günstigen Preisen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Schnitzel überdurchschnittlich in Menge und Qualität, Sättigungsbeilage (Pommes) reichlich und schmackhaft nur etwas zu viel Salz. Sehr zu Empfehlen. Der Bestellte Salat mit Shrimps war jedoch in Menge und Qualität mangelhaft. Shrimps ware nur lauwarm und von minderer Qualität und Menge (11 Cocktail Garnelen). Menge des Salates war auf Fast Food Niveau, daher viel zu wenig für den geforderten Preis. Nicht zu empfehlen. (Siehe Fotos)

Wir waren mit 12 Leuten und einem Hund dort. Davon 2 Vegetarier und 2 Veganer. Alles war top. Der super nette und kompetente Service. Das Essen war einfach fantastische. Es wurde für jeden seine besonderen Wünsche umgesetzt. Und zwar von der Vorspeise bis zum Nachtisch. Alle waren sehr zufrieden und satt. Die Empfehlungen der passenden Getränke zu den Speisen war genial. Für unseren Hund stand frisches Wasser bereit und war wirklich willkommen und nicht nur geduldet. Und das alles zu einem guten Preis in einem sehr gemütlichen Ambiente.

Man hat nicht den Eindruck, dass man willkommen ist. Das Wort "danke" scheint unbekannt zu sein. Preis/Leistung Verhältnis ist gut.

Wir waren das erste Mal hier, wir hatten einen Gutschein Geschenk bekommen. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön, die Angestellten sehr zu vorkommend und freundlich. Das Essen war sehr gut und auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut. Wir wrtden wiederkommen!

Wir waren mit 5 Personen zum Essen dort. Es hat super gut geschmeckt und war auch sehr ansprechend angerichtet. Der Koch versteht sein Handwerk!!!! Einrichtung und Ambiente sehr geschmackvoll. Die weibliche Servicekraft sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und nett, Der junge Mann noch etwas unbeholfen und das Bezahlen war leider auch sehr schwierig für ihn. Darum einen Stern Abzug. Aber alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert das neue Lokal.

Der Laden ist noch neu und das Personal muss sich erstmal zurecht finden. Obwohl es keine Unerfahrenen sind. Es war leider schon etwas strubbelig, schroff und fehlerhaft. Leider ist der Umgang damit und dann zum Kunden, nicht gut gehändelt worden. Ich würde erstmal nicht wieder kommen wollen, obwohl ich die Idee des Konzeptes gut finde.

leckeres Essen, gute Bierauswahl. Mein Favorit ist das Hop 13 Lager vom Fass. Dazu immer freundlicher Service.
