Delicious food at a reasonable price

Nice hotel. Perfectly located on the lake and also on Rur time to rent a boat. However, I would call ahead as they were closed during the week. Parking is available, but not free of charge. Otherwise, the rooms were very well maintained and clean.

We had the hollandaise sauce and the Heimbacher schnitzel, both very tasty and with generous portions. Also worth mentioning is the remarkably good side salad, with pieces of red, green, and yellow bell peppers, corn, carrots, kidney beans, red cabbage, beetroot, white cabbage, etc. If you don't try it, you're missing out. The service is very friendly and attentive. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back.

Very nice service and great ambience

Nice service, but it can only slightly improve my negative rating. Almost €11 for a lukewarm, not crispy fried currywurst is outrageous. A small dab of mayonnaise can be rewarded with €1. The fries were just mediocre, barely salted.

Today we cycled to Heimbach. People in Heimbach pointed out to us that you can eat well here. Yes, well, we'll test that. What can I say, we were absolutely not disappointed. From the drinks to the starter to the main course, everything was delicious. Special requests were accepted by the super friendly service and implemented by the kitchen. Believe it or not, our restaurant in Heimbach will be on bike tours. Top Thank you

After a while we returned there again. Been there several times before, including for a birthday. And it just so happens, we always had reliably good food there. Even now, when the others have almost closed down or could only serve food from the deep fryer, there was a wide range of good quality food on offer.

Great, relaxed atmosphere with delicious food and the beer was also great. What was also exceptional was the great service, which you rarely encounter anymore, especially Larissa is awesome.

I would like to thank the best host "Jorgo" for so many beautiful moments and countless hours. Now it has been 32 years since I was allowed to be a guest there for the first time. No matter whether young or old, everyone was welcome. Thank you for allowing me to be your guest so often, I will miss you, treat yourself to your retirement with all my heart. Kind regards, Torsten

2x herb bratwurst with fries including a small salad ordered with a non-alcoholic wheat beer and an apple spritzer. The bratwurst with fries was ok. The salad was fresh and delicious. The somewhat stressed waitress had mixed up ketchup and mayonnaise (well, it doesn't matter if everything else was correct). When it comes to the bill, it's a rip-off: 47.10 euros!!! It was impossible to explain how they came about. There was probably already a generous tip included, so we didn't give any more!!! Conclusion: simple, good food, but the price-performance ratio doesn't fit. In any case, we won't be visiting the restaurant again, even though we are in the area often.

Nice atmosphere and very friendly service staff. The food tasted good and was rich. Price/performance was right. Special requests could also be taken into account. We were satisfied and had a nice evening.
