Delicious food at a reasonable price

We were in the house with 3 severely disabled people over Christmas 2024 and received excellent support and were treated very kindly. The whole team was extremely helpful. We were extremely satisfied and felt exceptionally comfortable.

Today we cycled to Heimbach. People in Heimbach pointed out to us that you can eat well here. Yes, well, we'll test that. What can I say, we were absolutely not disappointed. From the drinks to the starter to the main course, everything was delicious. Special requests were accepted by the super friendly service and implemented by the kitchen. We were here twice in winter. Opening times are quite limited during these months. However, the menu is not and there is still a weekly menu with around 10 additional dishes. And if you ask, there is always something that is not on the cards. Vegetarian dishes are offered. The food so far has been excellent, a reasonable portion, very tasty and perfectly priced. If you can't get something, you can pack it up to take away. We were served very friendly, there is always time for a chat, hikers are welcome. There is a very pleasantly tempered local beer on tap, a tea and wine list, as well as local brandies and of course the usual alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Everything seems very rustic and cozy, we have only sat inside so far, I can't say anything about the comfort of the benches outside. The toilets are in the courtyard, which is a little chilly in winter, but they are clean and well maintained. We paid both in cash and with an EC card. However, wheelchair users have no chance in this old building, as there are a few steps at the entrance. If you have walking difficulties and don't necessarily need to use a wheelchair, the staff is guaranteed to be helpful. I can't say anything about the parking situation since we arrive by public transport. In the summer I'm curious how crowded it will be, but I'll definitely want to come back several more times.

I would like to thank the best host "Jorgo" for so many beautiful moments and countless hours. Now it has been 32 years since I was allowed to be a guest there for the first time. Mega delicious! Steak was professionally prepared. Salad dressing had something new in taste, not so superficial. Friendly welcome. It's the only shop in town that's open on Mondays. I am very satisfied and would like to come back.

Nice atmosphere and very friendly service staff. The food tasted good and was rich. Price/performance was right. Special requests could also be taken into account. We were satisfied and had a nice evening.
