Tasty food and a good & friendly service. With a view over the lake.

We were here today and there was hardly anything to eat because the restaurant will be closing for the winter in 14 days. So we content ourselves with two currywurst with fries and one chicken nugget with fries. The currywurst had probably been fried at some point, but now it was heated up in the microwave. Impossible, impossible too that we had to pay 50c for a small dollop of mayo. The building has no charm at all, but there is a terrace next to the dam where you can certainly sit nicely in the summer.

Food was good and nice service. Very attractive and the lake view is very nice. Children's playground was also tested and found to be good.

OPEN EVERY DAY 😊 Google opening hours are incorrect. Sometimes it's closed when it rains because then there's no one at the lake anyway. Delicious coffee, crispy fries, delicious waffles… and nice service! We love coming here and always enjoy it.

We were there for a drink, the wait staff was a bit uncoordinated and I understand something different by friendliness. When our grandchild (2 years old) ate a milk roll, we were told that it was not allowed to eat anything we had brought with us. There is a lack of understanding for small children.?

There is a truism that exactly three factors determine the success of restaurants: location, location and location. This is one of those restaurants. We had the schnitzel Eifeljäger. The list of ingredients with coloring, flavor enhancers and preservatives made it clear that this sauce comes from a bucket. However, the lowered expectations were still undercut. The whole thing was below the level of a chip shop. OK, the menu with schnitzel, burgers and currywurst didn't lead us to expect much else. On the way back my tongue burned from the salt. What surprised me was when I saw the schnitzel coming out of the pan, I had already guessed deep fryer. With, in my opinion, a huge amount of staff effort (sometimes four people behind the counter were in each other's way) a nice, attentive, but not good service was achieved. Instead of a large beer and a small shandy, we got a large shandy and a small beer. Long story short: nothing that would attract me there again. Except maybe to enjoy the location with a beer.

Sat on the terrace for 4 hours today. Ate and drank deliciously. Very friendly staff. Always happy again.

Young chap with blond hair served us and couldn't hand been more welcoming. Spoke perfect English to us too. Food lovely. View lovely. Service great.

Restaurant is beautifully situated on the water and offers simple food and drinks and ice cream.

August 28, 2024. It's hot and very crowded around 1500. Nevertheless, you have to wait far too long for the annoyed service. She doesn't really feel like working at this time and temperature anymore... Understandable... The fact that people smoke without being asked at the tables that are shared with other guests is out of date, but perhaps it is it's a "biker" thing and a guy like me is just bourgeois...

A very nice restaurant where motorcyclists are welcome. A very friendly service who you can talk to if you're not too busy. Prices are quite ok. I like to drive there and make a pit stop😊

Have a drink in this beautiful place. When my youngest son took a seat, the true hospitality came to the fore. Quickly hardened by these sour operators. Oh yeah. You can only pay by card from 10 euros!? So they also left a 50 cent tip, which they didn't understand at all.

Chocolate cake tasted like nothing. Strawberry cake tasted a bit fruity. Paid around 16.00 euros for both pieces with a coffee each. Wasn't worth it. Ambiance is a matter of taste. It wasn't mine

Yesterday there were 7 of us including a baby at Café Seeblick. Since the weather wasn't that nice, we got a table straight away. We ordered ice cream, iced chocolate and a waffle (which was delicious) without cream. The service (young woman) was very nice and quick. Older woman (probably boss) was quite rude: when asked about a changing facility, the only answer was that you should take the stroller into the women's toilet, which was very narrow, or change outside (it was raining lightly at the time) When we were back on the excursion boat, all five of us who had ordered the iced chocolate and iced coffee with cream had stomach ache. Today I informed the boss that we were all feeling sick, all she said was "it couldn't be right", everything had been freshly delivered and a quick "get well soon". She obviously didn't care.

The biker meeting place at Rursee is very popular, and rightly so. Delicious, cheap food (schnitzels and the like are freshly fried, no deep fryer) and friendly staff. One of the things you should try is the waffles with ice cream and cherries. At the weekend there is also cake and ice cream alone. You have a beautiful view over Lake Rursee from the terrace. The toilets are clean. The cafe is a feel-good place. There is a playground for children. Oh, by the way, the boat pier is also there, i.e. from there you can take a large boat across the Rursee and you can take tours on a small 'train'. Tickets for boats and trains are available locally. There are more than enough parking spaces available.

Very accommodating staff. Plenty of tables with a fantastic view over the water. We enjoyed the schnitzel, burger and wafles alike. Mind that the kitchen closes at 17:00 (sometimes at 19:00 so just ask) if you want to make it on time for your early dinner.

The view from the lake at the level, the good air and the peace is simply balm for the soul. A hot chocolate with cream from the friendly staff feels good and it relaxes my breath. I especially love the LOVE shake.

Very nicely located restaurant with a fantastic view of the lake. The service is friendly, but you have to wait an extremely long time even for the drinks. The still water I ordered was definitely tap water and lukewarm. The food? The salad is ready-made salad from a plastic container - we all liked it after a quick taste let. The mushrooms from a can, the sauce was a mixed sauce from a bag, the fries were ok. Would we recommend this restaurant or visit again? NO!

We had a very nice seat outside with a view of the lake. The waitress came to us quickly and was very friendly. The order came to us quickly even though it was busy. The waffles were very tasty and plentiful. The toilets were very clean!!! Overall a very nice place and a lovely day!!! Keep it up 👍🏻

Yesterday we were traveling by motorbike and stopped here for dinner. Due to the weather, it was very crowded and correspondingly loud. We were forced to sit at a table, which I had to clear. Staff hadn't managed it before, it was just humming. The female waiter was quick and very friendly. Almost all of the male waitresses seemed overwhelmed and possibly not (yet) sufficiently trained 🤷🏼‍♀️ Apple spritzer and coffee arrived in no time. And that with the stress. Chapeau👌🏼🎩 The food took a little longer, but was still ok. I ordered the veggie burger. Unfortunately, the roll was so dry around the edge that it crumbled when cut and was extremely unpleasant in the mouth. The burger was juicy in the middle and tasted good. However, the fries were tough as nails like these crispy sticks. I don't like it, sorry. My husband's side salad was forgotten, but was served immediately when asked. Unfortunately there are no toilets at all. Far too small and cramped for the amount of guests. Cleanliness 4+. No toilet paper, a hand dryer that doesn't deserve the name. A pity. Overall it was a C in my Andrea world. We would go there again, but I would order waffles 😉

The service was an absolute disaster. We had been sitting there for 1.5 hours and not once did a waiter come to take anything. After 30 minutes we went to the front to order ourselves. We then had to ask for both several times. Drinks also came after 1 hour. Food didn't come even after 1.5 hours and repeated reminders, so we canceled. We waited another 30 minutes until someone came to pay. Never experienced anything like this... We've been here several times. The view and the food are good, but unfortunately the service was always bad (never as bad as today. But also terrible)

Well, unfortunately I have to criticize now. During the season we are here on the motorbike about every 2 weeks. The food is always quite good. But we urgently need to work on staff. Waiting at the table for 40 minutes without any contact from the waiters. After ordering, wait another 30 minutes. All around us was wrong delivery and people waiting. Please please change this in the future, otherwise your regular customers will run away from you

Nice view of the lake, waffle was also delicious. 😉 Be sure to have change ready for the parking machine!! If nothing has been changed in the meantime, the machine will not accept card payments and there will be no EC machine nearby!

Quiet atmosphere (low season), very friendly and attentive service. The food is quality and with plenty of options.

Great location on the Rursee. Here you can find all kinds of waffles, currywurst, fries, coffee and drinks. From April to October you can also take a boat across the Rursee. Alternatively, you can hike along the Rursee before or after stopping at the restaurant (unfortunately no circular route is possible as the Rursee is very large). The service is great, friendly and fast.

Remarks like “you junkie; call it a day; I'll hit you in the face" are thrown at each other in the kitchen, the older female waiter is unfriendly and the ambience is disturbed by loud shouting between waiters and "cook"/kitchen help. The food 🥘 was average.

Today we went on a boat trip and a hike. Afterwards we ate at the Seeblick restaurant. There is a good selection of vegetarian dishes (even vegetarian schnitzel). We ordered a baked potato with homemade herb quark, two fries for the children and a fresh, delicious waffle with hot cherries and cream. The service was exceptionally good. Very friendly, attentive staff. The ketchup on the fries wasn't enough. We were given more ketchup in a small bowl. Service and quality are very important here. Almost everything is freshly prepared. It still doesn't take long. But it's not a fast food restaurant. Take your time if you want to eat here. 15 minutes until the next ship leaves is not enough time for a burger with fries, as it is freshly prepared.

We wanted to have something to eat with a family of four after a nice boat trip - a slightly older waitress had a hard time offering us a seat. We wanted to arrange a chair ourselves - that was impossible too! A pity

Drinken niet duur en eten niet goedkoop. Prima plek om lekker op terras te zitten met uitzicht over de Rursee. Vriendelijke, vrolijke, nette en humorvolle bediening. Ze vergat wel eens wat maar haar gedrag maakte het geen probleem. Drinken is zeker niet duur en gewoon goed en vrij grote glazen ook nog. Eten is niet zo heel goedkoop maar wel ruime portie. Ik had een bratwurst met frites. De braadworst viel wat tegen (meer weizen wurst idee) en frites zeer ruim en lekker.

Aan het meer een lunch gegeten. Was prima en schitterend uitzicht vanaf het terras dat over met meer uitkijkt.

Das war heute unser letzter Besuch dort.Wahrscheinlich sieht man die meisten Touristen dort nur einmal weil es nichts anderes gibt?Bis auf eine Dame sehr unfreundliches Personal. Das Bier wird einem auf den Tisch geklatscht ohne bitte oder sonst was.Außerdem wird das Glas nicht richtig befüllt.Wenn ich ein ganzes Bier bezahlen muss dann sollte das Glas nicht nur etwas über mitte befüllt sein und der rest Schaum.Das geht so nicht!Auch bekamen wir mit wie ein junger Mitarbeiter im vorbei gehen zu einem anderen Tisch murmelte wie er es doch hasst!Wohlfühlen?Dort leider nicht. Waffel lecker, kam leider sehr spät als wir schon auf getrunken hatten und gehen wollten. Ich denke ändern wird sich dort nichts weil wann meint man hätte es nicht nötig da ja jedes Wochenende sich haufen weise Touris dorthin verrirren:-(

Ein Ort wo man gerne verweilen kann. Sehr freundliches Personal. Portionen an Essen sind dem Preis angemessen. Kostenpflichtiger Parkplatz in der Nähe ,jedoch Sonntags voll. Wir kommen in jedem Fall gerne wieder.

Wir wollten dort etwas trinken und standen eine ganze Weile am Eingang und in der Zeit sind einige Mitarbeiterinnen an uns vorbeigelaufen, ohne uns anzusprechen. Daraufhin sind wir gegangen. So geht man mit Kunden nicht um. Das Ambiente wirkt sehr in die Jahre gekommen und die Preise sind sehr ordentlich.

Wij hebben daar alleen maar een koffietje gaan drinken, maar op het terras met uitzicht op de Rurzee is prachtig en zo rustgevend, echt van genoten.

Hatte nur einen Cappuccino. Trotz viel Andrang war der Service doch recht schnell. Speisen sahen gut aus.

Prima locatie om even wat te eten na de rondvaart. Lekkere gegeten. Personeel is vriendelijk maar hebben het gewoon heel druk en hebben af en toe geen tijd. Logisch lijkt me dus ik snap de negatieve reactie’s niet op het personeel. Ik vond ze heel vriendelijk. Ik raad de locatie zeker aan.

Für Biker und Nichtbiker hervorragend geeigneter Treffpunkt. Sehr netter Service ohne lange Wartezeit. Portionen sind ordentlich, Essen ist lecker. Der Ausblick auf den Rursee ist immer wieder ein Traum. Ob vor dem Restaurant mit Blick auf die Bikes, auf der Terasse zum Rursee oder drinnen, bei kühlerem Wetter, ist das "Seeblick" ein oft angesteuertes Ziel von uns. Mir gefällt, dass sich Wanderer, Radfahrer, Rurseebesucher und Biker bunt mischen. Für Biker: Parken direkt vor dem Restaurant. Achtung, vor allem am Wochenende unbedingt die vorgeschriebene Geschwindigkeit bei der Anfahrt einhalten. Die Strecke wird gerne kontrolliert.

Immer wieder landen wir da weil es so leckere Salate,Schnitzel, Waffeln U.s.w.gibt.Besitzer sind super nette Leute.
