Awfull place to stay, it is supposed to be relaxing and quiet , but people book rooms to get drunk and party all night . No one is there during the night to help us to switch room and the number from the office is not working . Go away if you can

The location of the hotel is super nice, our suite was nicely decorated in December, but unfortunately we had to freeze because the heating didn't work well. There were leaky patio doors, thin towels and lumpy pillows. Unfortunately not 4 stars. The drinks in the restaurant are overpriced, the breakfast is mediocre, the food and service in the restaurant are ok, but also not 4 stars.

Stayed at the hotel for two nights and absolutely disappointed with the customer service they had. Asked for a firmer mattress because of my back problem when I found out that the mattress is very old, soft and sagged. When I spoke to receptionist, first of all there was nobody at night and a kitchen staff send my message to someone which I believe was the owner, he did not do anything and keep saying there is no alternative to the mattress. Asked even for an extra blanket to sleep on the floor but he said no body at house keeping is available and I was told to wait till tomorrow morning. Ended up put my mattress on the floor and tortured at nights during my stay. Absolutely do not recommend this place if you have back problem and need a firm mattress.

The hotel has a great location right on the lake and pleasantly quiet, large, beautiful rooms. The restaurant is good and has reasonable prices for a hotel of this category (unfortunately my steak wasn't cooked to the desired degree on the first attempt, but I got another one prepared without any problem). However, I have never experienced a restaurant in such a hotel being closed on Sundays. The breakfast is decent, but nothing special and in my opinion doesn't correspond to the price. The reception is only staffed until 6 p.m. and the bistro, which is open during the day, is only self-service. You can park cheaply in the large parking lot at the boat dock directly in front of the hotel. If you arrive in the evening, the parking barrier is open and you have to get a ("lost") ticket from the machine when you leave in order to be able to leave.

We stayed in this very nice hotel, whole family with a big dog. This was allowed to go anywhere, including at the table in the restaurant. You can easily reach each of the 4 floors using the elevator. You can also use the chip cards to get into the hotel if it is locked late at night. The car was parked directly in front of the hotel. The staff was always nice and made even small requests or changes possible. The food was great and everyone was full. Many thanks to the team

We wanted to go to the restaurant around 11:30 a.m. today. According to the reception, it only opens at 12 p.m., hot food from 2 p.m. When we asked about the toilet, we were directed to the public one at the jetty in the pouring rain. This is not hospitable, we looked for another restaurant.

We had booked one night here. The hotel is beautifully located on Lake Rursee. The room is beautiful. Breakfast great. But now this is coming. The wellness area must be paid for separately from the room price. There is no free water in the room and the prices vary according to the tablet at €3.50 and the display in the room at €2.90 for 0.25L. Very confusing.

Beautifully located hotel directly on the Rursee. Rooms modern and well maintained. Had a room facing the parking lot, the air was very warm in the room! Unfortunately no air conditioning, otherwise it would have been 5 stars. Dinner OK! Breakfast was great, everything was plentiful and was replenished at any time. Service very attentive and accommodating! We can only recommend the hotel, but next time with a lake view.

We were sent away due to overcrowding 20-30% of the tables were occupied (see picture). Neither a cola nor a meal for two people would be possible. Two tables of guests overheard the conversation and laughed and shook their heads. One guest commented, “Probably closed because of wealth.” It's a shame...

A really very nice hotel, cleanly maintained, great location, friendly staff, actually there was nothing missing except for parking and charging e-bikes. You can park 6 or 8 bicycles outside in front of the entrance, loading is not possible. As a result, most people will take their batteries with them, which is actually irresponsible today. There definitely needs to be a separate place/cabinet to charge the battery! And ideally a storage room for the bikes (possible in the parking lot) Vg We'll still come back when we're in the area!

Everything you need in the room, maybe a biscuit with tea/coffee would be nice 😉 Breakfast is ok, more vegan options would be great. Breakfast service also very friendly. My room was comfortable and large. Good bedding. Please note: no courtesy products in the bathroom (only shower gel). Correct restaurant, with brasserie dishes. No question of putting the bill on the room. You have to pay right away. Price does not conform to that stated on the website (12€/dog/night). I send a message to the establishment. Laconic answer: No, the cost is €15. It's not a big difference, but it's in principle. Big negative point: their parking system (which does not belong to the hotel and if there is a problem, the reception clearly makes you feel that the hotel has nothing to do with the management of the parking lot). €4 per day. If you return in the evening, the barrier is open. How to get out the next day without a ticket? By paying the price of a full day! A real scam... 🫣 Thursday 6 p.m.: no more staff at reception. I was told to come back the next day at 8am 🤦🏻‍♀️ Last advice: bring cash! The hotel does not accept credit cards to pay the tourist tax. And the machine where paying for parking only takes cash. A real circus! I will personally not return to this hotel again. The hotel makes things too complicated for someone who comes there on vacation and I find overall that the hotel is not worth its 4 stars.

We cannot confirm in any form the negative reviews made before us. The entire house is very clean, and all the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. We were warmly welcomed by the management of the house and said goodbye just as friendly. We didn't miss anything at the breakfast buffet and there was plenty of everything throughout. We really enjoyed the evenings in the restaurant because of the really excellent cuisine and the pleasant atmosphere. We would particularly like to thank the young service staff once again, who treated us extremely well. Rarely have we met a young person in the catering industry who lives his job with such joy and passion. But that shouldn't diminish the performance of all the other committed and lovely employees. On April 7th, 2024 we had a family celebration with 23 people in the Seehotel's restaurant. Everything was great, very friendly and cooperative management regarding the course of the celebration and the arrangement of menu selection, etc. The food was excellent, the service was super friendly and competent, including the boss. All in all, it was a wonderful day in a great location in a beautiful area. Thank you Karl-Heinz Schmitz and the entire team.

I have known the hotel since it opened and have spent a lot of time there, especially for work. After many years we came back and found that unfortunately nothing is as it once was. The new tenants have turned a gem with a dream view of Lake Rursee into a hotel in which you unfortunately no longer feel welcome at all. The hotel has 4 stars, four of us booked the “family suite” for €265 for one night. When entering the hotel the first sign says you are not allowed to enter with dirty hiking boots. The reception is initially unmanned. None: "It's nice that you're here. Did you have a good journey?" or similar. Instead, the taciturn handover of the room card and the collection of the amount for the room. We were amazed, we had never had to pay for a room before we were even allowed to see it. When we arrived in the room, we realized that we didn't have a clear view of the outside from any room, as there was scaffolding on all sides and construction foil blocking the view. The most shocking thing, however, was that the barrier was removed and if you opened the living room window you could have easily fallen two stories down. In the family suite with 2 children, it is DANGEROUS TO LIFE. The construction crane clattered so loudly throughout the night that sleep was unfortunately impossible. The dinner, which was priced at a high level, included 3 sticks of asparagus for us, covered with a convenience sauce hollandaise. Drinks were not poured, the starter plates were still on the table when the waiter came with the main course, unfortunately there were no berries in the Lillet Wild Berry and here too we were charged straight away because there was no possibility of finishing the food to book the room. We have never experienced this in any hotel of this category. After the sleepless night caused by the construction crane, we experienced the next disappointment. An empty breakfast buffet. On it you can find 4 baked rolls and leftovers from the cheapest cold cuts of cheese and sausage. Here too, no "good morning" but "what is your room number?" The worst thing, however, is the complaint management in this house. We wanted to discuss the above-mentioned issues in a friendly manner with the tenant, but there was no insight, no apology, no understanding from her side. We wanted to check out, again the reception was unmanned. After the bell rings, a visibly annoyed lady appears. “Yes, please?” We say we would like to check out. "You don't need to ring the bell, there's a box where you can put the card in." Again no "Did you like it? Did you have a nice stay?". When asked about the scaffolding and, above all, the fact that we were not informed about the construction work in advance, the only response was "that was in the booking confirmation." No, it hasn't. We have the email. There is no excuse for the background noise from the construction crane, the danger that the children could have fallen because the grille on the window was missing. The fact that I told her my experiences, how nice it used to be here and how disappointed we are that things have turned out so negatively... No reaction. Just justification. You can also see the arrogance and lack of insight in the tenants' responses to other constructive and bad reviews. Everything here is designed to maximize profits. This is not about the guest and making them feel comfortable. The “good” reviews result from the questionable practice of handing out cash vouchers for them. It's a shame, because there is no such objective and independent basis for evaluation and perhaps many more people will be disappointed here.

This is the first time I've given "one" star on Google Reviews. Planned as a revival visit after 12 years, we were absolutely thrilled at the time, but unfortunately had to realize that the management of this house is now a catastrophe. From check-in to dinner service, breakfast and complaint management. The fact that this house has 4 stars still surprises me. The house is actually a pearl in the Eifel. But run this way it is a disaster to say the least. Sleep was out of the question. We were not informed in advance about current construction work. The construction crane rattled outside our window all night long. No reduction in the room price despite building foil in front of the windows, no fall protection on the windows, 3 stalks of asparagus at dinner and a completely cleaned buffet for breakfast. When checking out, try to have a constructive conversation. Vain! I hope sharing my experiences helps people make a decision about whether this home is right for them.

We had a comfortable stay and found the staff to be friendly and accommodating, additionally the check in/out process was welcoming and quick. We dined in the restaurant and enjoyed our evening meal, the breakfast buffet was also OK but it would have been nicer if sausages and a range of fruit and other selections were available. The location is unbeatable, so can't fault that. The room itself had some wear and tear (the enamel on the leather chair was cracking and peeling and the TV didn't have a clear screen), we had a nice stay but in our opinion, the hotel standard is that of a 3* hotel.

Is this the setting for a new season of The White Lotus series, or a German version of Fawlty Towers? This hotel has ONE amazing feature, the view. And the owners unfortunately are convinced that this is enough to ask premium prices for a 'suite' that was far below par (see the condition of the sofa in the photo) and way too expensive for what it provides in terms of comfort (no airco, no bathtub, simple shower). In everything, you feel that the owners essentially don’t like guests and only want their money. This is felt in all the small things that can make a hotel stay pleasant and comfortable. It's the unfriendly way they respond to questions, the inability to bill drinks and meals on the room, the unwillingness to provide information and, last but not least their inability to accept responsibility for their mistakes. In short, this hotel could be the best hotel in the region, if only the owners/managers would understand the meaning of the word 'hospitality'.

We spent 2 nights here in March and are very satisfied. The room with a lake view was very large, clean and nicely decorated. We also ate in the restaurant twice and were not disappointed. Attentive service and very good food. There was also enough choice at the breakfast buffet.

We ate in the restaurant, although there is room for improvement but the service was very friendly. The price/performance gap is not correct. The breakfast was ok but nothing more could be improved for 4 stars. The lady at breakfast was extremely friendly. We would come here again although I think it is not a 4 star hotel

Wir waren für zwei Übernachtungen als Paar eingebucht. Grundsätzlich ist das Hotel schön und unser Zimmer mit Seeblick bot eine schöne Atmosphäre. Leider ist zu bemerken, dass ich in einem 4 Sterne Hotel ein tadelloses Zimmer erwarte und keine defekte Deckenbeleuchtung und einen gebrochenen Duschkopf, der das Wasser in sämtliche Richtungen verteilt. Der Wellnessbereich (Sauna und Dampfbad) ist gepflegt, jedoch eher mikrig angelegt. Hier hängt eine nicht funktionierende Uhr an der Wand. Für 20€ Nutzungsgebühr erhält man kratzige Bademäntel, die lediglich bis Körpergröße 1,70m tragbar sind. Das Restaurant ist gemütlich mit schönem Blick auf den See bietet zu überhöhten Preisen teilweise durchschnittliche und niedrigere Küche an. (Ananas aus der Dose mit einer Kugel Eis für 9,90€) Als abschließenden schlechten Eindruck wurde und mitgeteilt, dass ein vergessenes paar Ohrringe für 20€ Selbstkosten nachgesendet werden können, trotz des Hinweises, dass ein unversichert Versand ausreichend wäre. Alles in allem ist das Hotel schön, im Vergleich zu anderen Gasthäuser aus unserer Sicht nur aufgrund des Zimmerpreises ein 4 Sterne Haus.

Sehr geehrter Seehof Team Liebe Google Nutzer, Wir durften ein Wochenende im schönen Seehof verbringen. Die Lage ist für jegliche Ausflugsmöglichkeiten perfekt, das Hotel ist schön eingerichtet und unser Zimmer mit Seeblick hat uns gut gefallen. Lediglich die kaputte Lampe und der defekte Duschkopf waren etwas störend. Außerdem wurde die Lüftung schon länger nicht gereinigt. Der Wellness Bereich ist auch schön ausgestattet und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Leider wird kein Schampoo oder Duschgel zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Nutzung der Sauna wird mit 8€ pro Person berechnet und die Bademäntel Kosten 20€ pro Person als Nutzungsgebühr. Das Essen im Restaurant war gut und der Sevice durchaus zuvorkommend. Ich habe leider ein paar Ohrringe liegen lassen. Mir diese nach zu senden lässt sich der Seehof mit 20€ bezahlen. Da dies eine reine Tatsachen Beschreibung ist wird mir hoffentlich nicht wie anderen Nutzern mit dem Anwalt gedroht. Wir werden das hotel nicht wieder besuchen.

Einleitend muss ich erwähnen, dass ich in einer e mail - freundlich aber bestimmend - , dazu aufgefordert wurde, meine vorherige, abgegebene Bewertung zu ändern. Worin ich wahrheitsgetreu, ungeschönt- allerdings auch persönlich und emotional- meine Erfahrung und Enttäuschung mitteilen wollte. Man teilte mir mit, dass die Bewertung innerhalb von 12 Stunden zu ändern wäre, ansonsten drohte man mir mit Anwalt. Selbstverständlich habe ich mich jetzt vorab bei entsprechender Stelle informiert, ob meine Angaben inhaltlich und sachlich korrekt sind und so veröffentlicht werden dürfen. Darum diese - vielleicht etwas seltsame - Formulierung. Jeder, der zwischen den Zeilen liest, wird anhand der gewählten Attribute und Umschreibungen verstehen, was ich zum Ausdruck bringen möchte. Nun zu meiner eigentlichen Aussage. Wir hatten in diesem Haus, für eine Festivitäten eine Zusage.( telefonisch) und haben Aufgrund dessen alle anderen, in Frage kommenden Örtlichkeiten gecancelt und freuten uns sehr über die Zusage. Nach einer 2017 dort abgehaltenen Feier,- an die wir sehr schöne Erinnerungen hatten-, war es ein großer Wunsch, auch dieses Fest dort zu feiern, diese Illusion wurde uns leider genommen...... Essensbesprechung ging nur per email, wobei es leider zu Missverständnissen kam. Dort verstand man scheinbar "Tellergerichte" und wir hätten gerne Gerichte "in Buffetform" gehabt. Aufgrund dessen baten wir höflich ( ging leider wieder nur per e mail) um ein persönliches Gespräch Vorort, wobei man vernünftig alles hätte klären können. Da ja nahezu alle 4 Sterne Hotels für ein Fest Buffet anbieten, konnte ja aus unserer Sicht nur "ein Missverständnis "vorliegen. Ein persönlicher Kontakt war leider nicht möglich. Das Haus hatte zu diesem Zeitpunkt geschlossen. War ja kein Problem. Man hätte uns ja nur einen Termin benennen können, bei dem man Details hätte besprechen können. Leider erhielten wir also wiederum nur - per mail- die Info, dass unsere Vorstellungen - Essen in Buffetform für 25 Personen- nicht umzusetzen wären, und das man die Reservierung stornieren würde. Unfassbar! Liebe Leser, Sie müssen zugeben, dass so eine Handlung sich nicht gehört! Die Art und Weise, wie uns dies mitgeteilt wurde - ohne jegliches Entgegenkommen oder Entschuldigung für die Umstände die wir nun hatten (neue Location suchen)- fanden wir sehr befremdlich und enttäuschend und haben wir so auch noch nicht erlebt. So geht man nicht mit poteniellen Kunden um! Wir haben Gott sei Dank für unser Fest einen höflichen, freundlichen, verständnisvollen Gastronomen gefunden, der bereit ist, auf unsere Bedürfnisse und Vorstellungen einzugehen. Auch er befand sich zum Zeitpunkt unserer Anfrage im Urlaub, machte es aber dennoch möglich uns kompetent zu beraten. Dort haben wir das Gefühl- so wie es eigentlich sein sollte- , dass der Gast König ist!!!!! Wie man sieht geht es also auch empathischer und freundlicher. Sehr geehrte Frau ..... Laut Art. 17 Abs. 1 DSGVO entspricht der Text der Richtigkeit und Richtlinien. Es wurden keine Personen namentlich benannt - ""obwohl dies übrigens erlaubt ist!!!" -und ebenso erfolgten keine persönlichen Beleidigungen und ich habe auch keinen 10€ Gutschein erhalten. Klar, ....erhält man ja auch nur für eine positiv abgegebene Bewertung. Kleiner Tipp: Vielleicht sollte man in Ihrem Haus auch darauf achten, dass man in den Kommentaren auf abgegebene Bewertungen, keine Namen benennt. ( wenn man schon belehrend unterwegs ist) Fazit: Wir können nach dieser Erfahrung in keinster Weise eine Empfehlung abgeben.

Liebes Team vom Seehof, wir waren dieses Wochenende bei Euch und möchten uns auch nochmal auf diesem Wege bedanken. Wir sind bereits das zweite Mal bei Euch gewesen und nach wie vor begeistert. Als erstes möchten wir uns für all die netten Menschen bedanken. Das Serviceteam ist sehr freundlich und man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Marvin der uns empfangen hat, die freundlichen Menschen in Service bis hin zum Chef persönlich, waren alle sehr herzlich und offen uns gegenüber. Die liebevolle Gestaltung des Hotels und der immer noch frisch renovierte Duft, so wie die bis ins kleinste mit Mühe gestalteten Räume haben uns wieder begeistert - hier spürt man die liebe zum Detail. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohlgefühlt in den Räumlichkeiten. Die Betten sind wirklich sehr bequem. Mal abgesehen von der großartigen Lage des Hotels, einfach perfekt. Dazu gibt es noch einen tollen Wellnessbereich - klein aber fein und ebenfalls schön gestaltet. Als letztes wollen wir noch zum Essen Feedback geben. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Abend mit einem 4 Gang Menü. Hier hat wirklich alles gepasst. Vor allem die Brokkolisuppe war wirklich ein Gaumenschmaus und sollte unbedingt auf die Karte ( als Tipp) :D Auch hier hat uns das Serviceteam sehr freundlich und herzlich empfangen. Genau so auch am darauffolgenden Morgen - man wurde freundlich begrüßt und sogar gefragt wie man geschlafen hat. Sehr familiär. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat eine riesen Auswahl und hat uns zum Abschluss unseres Aufenthaltes nochmal richtig glücklich gemacht. Hier bekommt man alles was das Herz begehrt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und freuen uns bereits jetzt auf den nächsten Aufenthalt. Bleibt genau so wie ihr seid! So eine Art hebt sich deutlich von anderen in der Branche ab. Äußerst unfreundlich!!! Ich hätte gerne dort meine Hochzeit gefeiert . Hatte eine Zusage für diesen Tag bekommen und wir freuten uns sehr. Als es zur essensbesprechung ging , das nur über Email geschah ( leider ) bekam ich nach meiner essensvorstellung die Antwort das dieses Haus ein solches Essen nicht anbietet und direkt hinterher die Stornierung. Wir reden über eine Rindfleischbrühe mit einlage , anstatt einer brokoli Creme Suppe als Vorspeise. Wieso kann man sowas nicht anbieten ? Ich habe gelernt das der Kunde König ist und man ihm jeden Wunsch von den Lippen abliest. In diesem Restaurant leider nicht ! Gott sei Dank haben wir jetzt eine bessere Wahl gefunden. Nach dem ich den Gästen die Änderung mitteilte bekam ich Antworten wie Gott sei Dank und das ist die beste Entscheidung die ihr getroffen habt. Da unter anderem auch dort schon Sachen vorgefallen waren. Ich rate jedem ab dieses Haus zu besuchen !

Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Direkte Lage am See. Massenhaft Parkplätze am Haus. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Schöner und gemütlicher Spabereich. Die Zimmer sind schön groß und geräumig, das Essen sehr gut mit gutem Preis- Leistungs- Verhältnis.

Der Standort des Hotels ist Perfekt. Optimal zum Wanderm oder zum biken. Bei der Ankunft mussten sofort die Hotelkosten bezahlt werden, was ich für ein 4 Sterne Haus als ziemlich ungewöhnlich empfand.

Het oogt wat gedateerd en verlaten als eerste indruk vanaf de buitenzijde, maar het is een zeer netjes en fris hotel. Kamer (inclusief de badkamer) was ruim en schoon. Ontbijtbuffet was zeer uitgebreid, lekker en overal voldoende van aanwezig. Vanuit het hotel kan je direct (aan de andere zijde van de dam) een aantal wandelingen oppakken. Houd er wel rekening mee dat hotel niet in het dorp Heimbach ligt. Hiervoor moet je nog enkele minuten rijden. Het is geen prettige weg om te wandelen.

Fahren wir sehr gerne zum Latte Macchiato trinken hin, ein Stück Kuchen darf es auch sein. Mittagessen kann man dort auch. Die Terrasse ist mit herrlichem Ausblick auf den Rursee. Fahren fast jeden Monat in die Eifel, für uns ein Muss wenn es nicht regnet. Selbstbedienung!

Wandelend vanaf ons vakantiepark langs de Rür in Heimbach aangekomen, en hier koffie gedronken langs de toegangsweg van de stad. Prima koffie en vriendelijke bediening. Ondanks dat wij alleen taart en soep op de kaart zagen staan, een broodje kaas kunnen bestellen. Dit was erg fijn. Ook gezien het feit dat het leek alsof dit café de enige was die open was op maandag rond 12:00 uur.

The food was just normal, nothing special about it. Service was very unfriendly and they didn't have the right food so they just gave something else without asking. Price was also quite expensive, 10 euros for just a standard sandwich

A cozy, rustic inn with simple German cuisine. Were there at a family celebration with about 30 people. The food was delicious, the staff friendly, cake was huge and good. The "service staff" were nice and always tried hard... so no trained staff, but no one went hungry. So if you like good food like Grandma's with dishes like at home, this is the place for you.

Today we cycled to Heimbach. People in Heimbach pointed out to us that you can eat well here. Yes, well, we'll test that. What can I say, we were absolutely not disappointed. From the drinks to the starter to the main course, everything was delicious. Special requests were accepted by the super friendly service and implemented by the kitchen. Believe it or not, our restaurant in Heimbach will be on bike tours. Top Thank you
