Super cozy. Service was fast and the people were friendly. It's great that you get mayo and ketchup in a bottle on the table and don't have to pay extra. This is the third time we've eaten here in a week, and everything is great.

We ate here every day during the fall break for two years running. Always delicious! The staff is super friendly! Beautiful location. Highly recommended!

The food was okay. We've had worse. However, more attention should be paid to cleanliness. The tables, chairs, and even the highchairs were dirty and very sticky. It's a shame to have to clean your reserved table before you can eat. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio isn't right. We wouldn't eat there again.

We got our food within 5 minutes? Huh? Overcooked fries, mayonnaise and ketchup just squeezed onto the table, and the salad had way too much dressing. Not tasty and definitely not something we'll be returning for. The service was very friendly, though.

During our stay at Dormio Eifeler Tor, we ended our afternoons here every day with a drink on the terrace. We also dined there a few times. We were always warmly welcomed by the staff. The Brauhaus is nicely equipped for the large number of Dutch visitors, so there are a few Dutch dishes on the menu (like bitterballen). The food we had was simply excellent.

Trotz vollem Laden, kamen die Getränke und das Essen innerhalb von 15 Minuten, was vollkommen gerechtfertigt ist. ....Wer meckern will, soll am Besten zuhause bleiben oder zu McDonalds oder Burger King fahren.

Extremely poor service. Food wasn't served at the same time. Then the food was cold. When you ask for salt, you don't get it. A piece of meat was raw, and when you ask for a new piece, you have to wait 20 minutes. The waitress didn't understand our comments and then returned with a phone and shoved it in our hands. This was the manager; he refunded all our food and drinks. That was a plus.

The food is good, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. My husband and I were served our main course, but he didn't have any cutlery – I did. Meanwhile, the children's food wasn't coming. It took about five minutes before we could speak to a server. We asked for cutlery and about the children's food. The cutlery was brought, but the children's food didn't arrive for another ten minutes. By then, we were almost finished. This makes it very difficult to enjoy a meal, which is a shame – because the food itself was absolutely excellent. What made it even worse: there was no explanation, no apology, and no compensation whatsoever. The staff didn't seem responsible for specific tables, so mistakes went unnoticed and no one really felt responsible. This significantly dampened the atmosphere at our table. For us, this was a disappointing experience. We won't be returning.

Where to begin... If I were to roll out a frikadel with a rolling pin, then bread it and toss it in the fryer, would it taste better than the schnitzel they serve here? Everything else is so salty that any other flavor disappears. The service isn't exactly something to write home about either. At busier times (read: more than three tables occupied), it can take a considerable time for a drink to arrive. As I write this review, I see a man and his children, after calling the waitress about five times, get up and leave the terrace. To end on a positive note, the beer tastes fine. Thankfully, it's not salty. Can't dormio intervene here? This doesn't seem like a good experience for their guests?

Unfortunately nothing special, but rather expensive. Not bad, but one would wish for more here (the potential would be there). In particular, the “to go” order was unfortunately incomplete. The staff seemed less professional, more like pupils / students who earn something on the side but are not really trained in gastronomy --- everything was quite tedious. We were waiting for an order more than 1 hour (including the meal for the baby from the Kids-Menu). Then we were found in the bill the meal that we didn't order. The food itself was not bad, but such a long waiting time is unacceptable.

We haven't had such a bad meal in a long time. We had to wait over an hour for our food, even though there weren't many customers. The food consisted almost entirely of convenience foods and frozen schnitzel. Some of the beer was warm.

The food is okay, but nothing more. The price isn't justified for the quality and quantity. Anyone expecting a classic brewery with home-style cooking will be disappointed. The dishes were dirty, and the table hadn't been cleaned.

All food was tasty but cooled down. Food was on a trolley for too long before it was served. Poor organization. Getting attention from the service was a challenge.

The food arrived three minutes after ordering. The sauce for the pressed meat schnitzel already had a skin on it. That says a lot about the quality of the food.

Bereits 3 Minuten nach der Bestellung kam das Essen. Das Schnitzel bestand aus "mehreren Lagen Fleisch". Die Pfeffersoße hatte bereits eine Haut gezogen. Frisch gemacht sieht anders aus und mehr braucht es nicht für diese Bewertung.

Unfortunately I didn't look at the reviews before the visit... there were 10 of us. 5x schnitzel, 5x bad (bad canteen food goes well). 2x Curry: bland and loveless. The roast pork and the salad with roast beef were ok. Really a shame.

Ate at Brauhaus, service very poor, only after 45 minutes, received service at our own request, repeated what we wanted 3 times and still ordered the wrong thing... the desserts also went wrong after ordering. The apple strudel was ice cold... the final bill was also not correct, luckily we had kept track of the order ourselves... so the wrong things were still on the final bill... Very bad, no compensation or anything, no apology... We won't be coming here anymore!!

Vanmiddag aangekomen en we konden alleen hier terecht om een hapje te eten. Personeel loopt niet vrolijk rond en de bestelling werd niet goed geleverd en genoteerd. Heb tot 3x over toe moeten vragen om het stokbrood met smeersels. Wat wel op de rekening stond vermeld, maar was we niet hadden gekregen. Prijs/kwaliteit echt matig. Het kinderkopje tomatensoep is net zo groot als van de volwassenen, alleen betaal je daar wel meer voor. Wij moesten ontzettend lang wachten op ons eten. Ben naar binnen gelopen, omdat je bijna geen bediening buiten ziet lopen, ookal zijn er veel tafels bezet. De reden ze hebben personeelstekort en daarom duurt het lang. Heel vervelend voor ze, maar dit moet niet mijn probleem zijn. Je betaald flink voor weinig en we waren met kleine kinderen die echt hartstikke honger hadden en zo lang moesten wachten. Absoluut niet netjes. Als ik niet naar binnen was gelopen weet ik niet hoelang we nog hadden zitten wachten. Reservering van a.s. dinsdag heb ik direct geannuleerd. Ga er alleen heen als je lang kunt en wilt wachten en geen moeite hebt met niet vriendelijke personeel en je relatief veel wilt betalen. Voor ons niet meer.

Wanted to order fries to eat along with the dinner, rest we made at home. We're told 'restaurant is full so we can not serve fries now, in half an hour we can make it again'. People right before us were served. Got back half an hour later, got told the same lame story again. Dinner failed, sad children. I do not understand why they do it like this, but it was a major disappointment. I suggest the holiday park to make a different setup in order to offer guests a better experience.

Had an excellent meal here, wide choice on the menu. The schweinhaxe is quite a task for even Obelix to tackle. The other dishes were also excellent.

Great, relaxed atmosphere with delicious food and the beer was also great. What was also exceptional was the great service, which you rarely encounter anymore, especially Larissa is awesome.

Ordered a large mixed salad with ham and cheese for €14: This was the worst and most expensive salad I have ever eaten. I don't normally give such polemical reviews... but I haven't eaten that bad in a long time... it's better to go 500 meters further... there are other restaurants there...

Leider enttäuschend,wir waren zu zweit hier und der erste Eindruck war top der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Speisen..... einmal ein Riesenrösti Mediterran ,dieses war vom Riesen weit entfernt und ein Tiefkühlprodukt dazu gebratenes Gemüse welches ebenfalls komplett Tiefkühlprodukt und nur kurz die Pfanne sah,als zweites der Grillteller mit Rinderfilet (gut gebraten) Schweinerücken (gut gebraten) Hähnchenbrust leider wieder ein Tiefkühlprodukt dazu Pommes Frites (Super) und eine Pfeffersauce als Fertigprodukt. Beide Teller sehr lieblos angerichtet und nur auf das wesentliche beschränkt und das zu Preisen die für solch eine (Qualität?) deutlich zu hoch sind. Ich wünsche mir das die Luft nach oben ausgenutzt wird und daher leider nur drei Punkte. Gruß Piet

Very pleased with the food - big portions and very tasty. The atmosphere was great for adults while also being very family friendly. The service was excellent. Servers were friendly and attentive. They offered a nice little flute of Valentine’s Day pink Secco for the adults which was a lovely added touch.

Cozy atmosphere, tender meat and delicious sauces. Good beer and nice service. Highly recommended, at least in the low season.

There are no 0.5l versions of soft drinks

We ate there twice with 8 adults and 8 children. The food was good. If you expect great art with schnitzel and fries, you should probably not go to restaurants that are part of a Dutch holiday park. The portion sizes were great, the salad tasted fresh and delicious. The service was excellent and did not live up to what was described in the reviews here. Special requests were quickly fulfilled. A good alternative for resort guests. However, I found the prices of the food to be relatively high.

Reserveren is een must. Wij aten hier een lekkere schnitzel. Kwaliteit prima zeker voor 17,90 euro op schnitzeltag. Het eten kwam zeer snel. Dus voor gezinnen ideaal. Al met al een goede hap voor 60 euro.

We wanted a table for 3 people in the afternoon. Even though it was pretty empty, we were shocked and asked if we wanted it "now???" wanted to have. After sitting down, it took 10 minutes for our drink order to be taken. One menu offers very little choice, the other was in Dutch. The staff didn't try to explain to us what else we had to eat. The food was ok, except for the mushroom sauce, which was a finished product and far too little for a schnitzel. Although there were only a few guests in the brewery until the end of our stay, we always had to wait a long time and give hand signals to be served. The way in which we were sometimes spoken to was also not very hospitable. There is still a lot of potential for improvement everywhere.

Not recommended at all! The food was lukewarm and full of conservatives, meat dry and the potatoes gelatinous. You will not get food poisening here, but its only slightly better then what you get served in hospital. For the same price you can get way better food down in Heimbach.

Unfortunately a bitter disappointment. :-( First of all, the positive: if you live in the resort, it's a very short journey and the beer is tasty. Unfortunately, that's where it ends. We had reserved a table as requested. When we arrived, a few waitresses were busy walking past, but they all ignored us, so we found a table with a "reserved" sign that was the right size. The drinks we ordered were delivered quite quickly, unfortunately incomplete, some incorrect - well, it can happen and was quickly corrected. Unfortunately, the beer glasses were not full despite the foam. We waited 1.5 hours for the food, the only thing that came beforehand was the tomato soup - which is available on the menu once as a children's dish and once as a starter for adults for €2 more. For us it was supposed to be a children's dish - but we ordered the supposedly larger version, which was ultimately served as a half-full bowl (that was just a sample for our 6-year-old), so we wanted to order again straight away. That alone was almost impossible. Waitresses walked past us several times and when we spoke to them they responded with "yes" but none of them could or wanted to take an order and apparently didn't send anyone else. Our actual waitress didn't allow herself to be persuaded to take an order either by a gesture of her hand or by speech, so we ended up reordering at the counter - this time the children's meal, which was then served as a quarter-full bowl (3 spoons of soup = children's meal and I'm exaggerating/understating). not). The meals for the adults were ok. but unfortunately not anymore. Empty plates were not picked up and remained on the table for ages. All of this at not exactly cheap prices. Unfortunately, there is no relationship between price and performance.

Unfortunately not so good... We planned a brewery evening on our last day of vacation and made a reservation as requested. Then waited more than 1.5 hours for the food and that was just ok. In our opinion, the price-performance ratio wasn't right: small portions, these are expensive and the taste was just ok.

Went to eat schnitzel in this brewery. Sitting down at the table with the children full of anticipation and of course looking forward to a nice schnitzel given the atmosphere. Ordering was quick and the food was on the table pretty quickly. But what we were then served was a really dismal piece of schnitzel which, to my mind, came from the frozen food factory and at an unjustified price. There's really nothing difficult about a good schnitzel and I ask for improvements.

Food was only lukewarm, the 1/2m bratwurst was nowhere near a 1/2m…. Even after asking, the salad that was supposed to come instead of the sauerkraut was not brought. We as locals will not be coming back

The name 'Heimbacher Brauhaus' suggests home-brewed beer and hearty German cuisine. The beer was actually good, but unfortunately the food was only canteen level. They advertise typical Eifel specialties. I didn't know that Bitterballen and Frikandel also counted! Probably Dutch operator with Dutch cuisine - if you like it...

Food was like from a chip shop. The dessert, tiramisu, also tastes like nothing. The service wasn't really present, but it was friendly. We probably won't go there to eat again. It was positive that you could sit comfortably and there was live music.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a nice evening in the brewery. The food was like frozen, out of a can and absolutely not fresh. The service is underground. There were a lot of waiters running around but no one felt responsible. We waited 1 hour for our starter. The plates were only cleared away 30 minutes after consumption. It was very impersonal and not friendly at all. We can't recommend it to anyone!!

The food itself tastes great. Not special, but tasty. The terrace is covered and there are a surprising number of wasps living nearby who enjoy eating with us. Unfortunately, we did not receive the food we ordered and an allergy was not taken seriously by the kitchen, even though the menu lists all the ingredients for allergies and so you think this is OK. Clearing between courses takes a very long time, we eventually saw people bringing in their dirty plates themselves to get attention so they could pay and leave. The service is very friendly once you have their attention. Unfortunately, this is not the place for a smooth experience. More employees or better efficiency would certainly benefit this and the adjacent Italian restaurant. Prices are above average.

Im Dormio Resort gelegene Gaststätte mit recht hohen Preisen (einfacher Burger: 18 Euro) und gewöhnungsbedürftigem Bier. Die Reservierung über die App des Resorts wird dringend angeraten, es sind aber noch viele Tische frei, selbst wenn dort "ausgebucht" steht. Selbst einfache Fragen "Wie hätten Sie Ihr Steak denn gerne?" sind dort unbekannt. Es wird Standard "medium" serviert. Durch die Lage an der Promenade des Resorts keine ruhige Atmosphäre. Vielzahl an Wespen, die dann gefährlich gerne in den Getränken der Gäste baden. An sich schmecken die Gerichte teilweise: Den Ziegenkäse kann man empfehlen, die Burger eher nicht. Hält sich wohl nur durch die Monopolstellung im Resort - die vorhandene Pizzaria spricht anderes Klientel an.

Leider nur unterdurchschnittlich. Wir waren über die Preise erstaunt, da man für ein normales Hauptgericht mit Fleisch über 20€ hinlegen muss. Sehr schade, wenn das Schnitzel oder das Burger Pattie nicht mehr als Tiefkühlkost sind. Man sollte hier definitiv keine deftige Brauhausküche erwarten. Eher einen hochpreisigen Imbiss.

Actually you shouldn't give a point at all. Sat outside. Then they're clean. We were told... If we had to sit down, we would need the number from the table, all English.... Waiting again, no one came... Impossible...

Not a good experience. We had made a reservation. The restaurant was less than a quarter full but they had not arranged anything for us. There was some pushing around and we were crammed into a corner. Unfriendly service. And the starter was only half finished when they came to serve the main course. It was simply put down without mentioning anything. We were only asked once if we wanted drinks. Anyway, if you have to eat your starter, main course and dessert in half an hour here, then I understand why they don't come by for drinks more often. When we said something about it afterwards, the staff looked to see if they saw water burning. We will skip this restaurant from now on.

Good food, a bit pricey if you compare this with restaurants outside the Resort. But good enough to end here at the park after a long holiday day. Tip: order the home-brewed Heimbacher pilsner. Very tasty! Tip 2: order a Carajillo for coffee after dinner.

On July 14, you cannot make a reservation for the entire month of August except for one day (August 7); Apparently this restaurant has too low a capacity for the holiday park where it is located. Disappointing as a park guest.

Underground food We have been coming to the Eifeler Tor irregularly for years and also eating at the Heimbacher Brauhaus. The quality and selection of the food has been declining for years, but what we were served this time was an imposition. The curry satay in particular was a listless compilation of convenience products that was second to none. The schnitzel was so thin and tasteless that without sauce you didn't know what you were eating. Sorry, we won't be eating there anymore. Positive: The beer tastes good and is recommended.

The price-performance ratio simply wasn't right. The food was ok but nothing more. More like a chip shop level - including a warm mayo bottle on the table. And that for €22 per dish. The ambience was ok. It's just next to a pool and a holiday complex, so bathers walk back and forth all the time. Not so comfortable. The beer was delicious.

I was going to give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the expensive prices. More than 25 euro per dish feels more like downtown Amsterdam. Certainly not for the canned food we get here, 3 minutes after ordering. Food aside, the service is great and we always feel welcome here.

Food among the worst meals we have ever had. We are a group of 12 people and all the food was subpar, but extremely expensive due to a lack of alternatives. Thesis: there is no kitchen at all, just a convection oven. Even the salad with vinegar and oil was ready with dressing. If you don't have to, you shouldn't come or you should invest the money in a taxi. Price performance is an absolute disgrace.

Prijzig, zeker voor drank. 4€ voor 20cl sinaasappelsap is stevig. Eten niet bijster goed van kwaliteit. Ikzelf had de Schweinshaxe, die aanvaardbaar was. De aardappelen en de saus die er bij waren kan ik echter thuis beter bereiden. Mijn vrouw had een vegetarisch gerecht: rösti met mediterraanse groenten. De rösti was schijnbaar gefrituurd waardoor die verzoop in het vet en de groenten kwamen uit de diepvries/een conservenblik/een bokaal. Prijs-kwaliteit verre van top. Het bier was wel lekker ;)

We ate there twice during our stay at Dormio and were very satisfied each time. The service was friendly and quick, the food was great (especially the Heimbach dark beer sauce). The Italian restaurant next door had pizza that you could take to go. I would have thought it would have been nicer to be able to eat them there with a delicious Zwickel or dark beer, but that wasn't allowed. We then sat down in front of the pizzeria and took the beer there, which worked. But because it wasn't part of the card, there are no star deductions. I also think it's a shame that you can only buy the Pils as a bottle to take away, not the Zwickel and the dark beer. However, I'm not such a big beer connoisseur that I can't say whether there are reasons for this (shelf life or similar). Therefore no deduction either. All in all, we would like to eat here again and we were full every time. If you're really hungry, we recommend the three-course menu for €35. According to the menu, you can even get this as a gift on your birthday if at least two other people take the three-course menu.

Food wasn't convincing, especially for the sporty price. The staff was friendly.

I can't fully understand some of the reviews. The restaurant is nicely decorated, the staff is very friendly and helpful. We also really enjoyed the food. The beer sauce was very tasty, the Kibberlings were freshly prepared and with real fillet (not like frozen fish fingers), the fries were crispy and well seasoned. Only the burger patty was a bit dry, but otherwise the burger was delicious. We would definitely come again!

The food is very good 👍🏻 Sunday is a scavenger hunt at reduced prices. In January and February the cheaper of 2 meals is 50% reduced. The service is attentive, friendly and quick. 2 things caught our eye: The non-alcoholic wheat was served in a jug and not in a wheat glass, On a previous visit, the non-alcoholic was served in the normal glass (alcohol) without comment. But you can live with it. They're just subtleties. The tea lights on the tables were mostly empty...weren't replaced or weren't lit...then it's better not to put up any candles. As I said, it's not all that important...but it's just part of it.

It's a very nice restaurant with three delicious types of beer. The price is quite high, but in my opinion acceptable because it is a microbrewery. We only had appetizers as a small snack. Bitterballen and goulash soup. The price-performance ratio is not right. Small bowl of soup and 8 small bitter balls. Ok, in Holland the prices are often similar...but you know that. Still, I would come back. However, only for a few beers. I would first look at the main courses at the neighboring tables. The service was very friendly and quick.

We ordered 12 pizza’s and no one liked them. The dough was very bad and had an extremly weird texture (chewy, hard) and also not fully cooked. Pizza’s were also cold when we went to pick them up at the restaurant

Nach dem Wandern eingekehrt! Kellnerin war Nett aber leider gab es nicht alles von der Karte und haben zum Bier Käsewürfel bestellt.Die waren echt eine Frechheit 😞Bier ist gut aber alles ausbaufähig!

A nice evening in the Heimbacher Brauhaus, some of the people in service don't speak German or understand German, the food was delicious 😋 the entrance is a bit difficult to find and parking is also difficult, especially if there is no entrance or entrance sign to the brewery

Tiefkühlkost ohne wirklichen Geschmack, dafür schön fettig und völlig überteuert. Service immerhin freundlich.

Das Eisbein und das Bier (auch die Cocktails) sind zu empfehlen.

Service war in Ordnung, aber nicht herausragend. Hat etwas gedauert, bis jemand kam. Bier schmeckt. Die Haxe war ziemlich zäh, normal sollte das Fleisch von alleine vom Knochen abfallen, hier musste man sägen. Die anderen, die mit waren, fanden ihr Essen aber gut.

Sehr empfehlenswert ist vorallem die Forelle mit Kartoffeln! Bedienung 1+ Kommen aufjedenfall wieder

Een geweldig resort met een leuk traditioneel Brauhaus. Heerlijk gegeten en hele lekkere bieren. Echt een top locatie.

Ein sehr schöner Ort zum verweilen. Gegen 17/ 18 Uhr sollte man aber besser reservieren, da dann viele der Bewohner Essen gehen.

Standard food and service restaurant. It can be busy during dinner time in holiday season, so better book your table. The only upside is that you don't have to go out from Dormio resort to eat and drink. Schnitzel is ok. Their Irish coffee is awful.

Wir haben einmal vor Ort gegessen und einmal Pizza zum Mitnehmen bestellt. Das Essen war jeweils in Ordnung - für das Gebotene aber recht hochpreisig. Den Service haben wir teilweise als unaufmerksam und etwas pampig erlebt. Insbesondere den Umgang mit einem offensichtlichen Fehler fand ich sehr ärgerlich. Hier muss der Kunde halt selbst bei Abholung mehrere Pizzakartons kontrollieren, ob alles wie bestellt dabei ist... Fehler passieren, ich erwarte dann aber einen kundenorientierten Umgang damit.

Service und Ambiente TOP, das Essen dagegen ein richtiger FLOP. Eine recht übersichtliche Speisekarte, was zunächst ein gutes Zeichen ist. Leider konnte das Essen geschmacklich nicht überzeugen. Der Preis für diese Qualität viel zu hoch. Ein Stern für das Bier.

Das Essen mussten wir einmal zurück schicken, weil ein Gericht anders war, als auf der Karte beschrieben. Es war ansonsten aber okay. Das im 3-Gänge-Menü enthaltene Dessert war nach einer Stunde und mehrmaliger Nachfrage noch nicht am Tisch. Service insgesamt schlecht und quasi nicht vorhanden. Kellner sind nie von selbst an den Tisch gekommen.
