Highly recommended if you are looking for a nice and traditional Eifel restaurant. Quaint and very cozy furnishings, but not kitschy at all. The service is very friendly, knows the menu and products and can give great advice. Very tasty and tasteful food with lots of local products. Great meat and fish dishes, as well as vegetarian alternatives. The restaurant has succeeded in combining traditional and tried-and-tested recipes with current trends. The very fresh salads with homemade dressings are also recommended Large selection of good drinks, attention is paid to many details, such as always the right glasses. We felt very comfortable and will be back soon.

Ate a salad bowl, using only very fresh ingredients. Matjes with fried potatoes also very tasty. And the waiter served us very nicely. Definitely recommended! We'll be back.

The food was actually very tasty, if the order had arrived the way it was placed. My husband ordered a rib-eye steak with fresh chanterelles and it was served with herb butter. I had redfish with warm potato salad but got the dish with fries. Since there was no sauce with the steak, my husband ordered some ketchup for the fries, which was also charged extra. Maybe the service was stressful, but a customer shouldn't normally notice that.

Super delicious food and you can sit comfortably outside. There are also many vegetarian options. The omelette and the schnitzel were very good.

Very good eatery. My 9 year old son googled this. We are happy that we can eat there. It was busy, had to wait 10 minutes without a reservation. Nice menu, friendly staff.

We opted for half the original Wiener schnitzel because in Germany you expect a large Wiener schnitzel, so only half it. But the price ratio is not really good because it costs 20 euros, but what we got was worth more like 15 or 16 euros. We were asked if we wanted ketchup on mayonnaise and we chose ketchup. Well then you get a very small thing with ketchup for 2 people. So we asked for ketchup again and guess what, you already paid 20 euros (which is already a lot) and you also have to pay for the ketchup. Pretty poor. Customer friendliness oh well, not really that good either, you get the card and you are not even asked if you want something to drink. The schnitzel was good, but the price is just too expensive and then you also have to pay for the ketchup.

There is a special (old-fashioned) atmosphere in the courtyard. Food is just good. Service seems a bit stiff at first, but later turns out to be very efficient and helpful. The food is ruined because there is a lot of smoking around us and when drunk men sit next to us, one of whom also starts vomiting, it takes the fun out of us. We have been coming here for years, but we have never experienced this, hence the positive review.

The Schnitzel was ok, the fried potatoes were really those industrial ones, on average it was ok. Quality price ok, I wouldn't come back tbh.

You shouldn't take the whole kitchen thing too seriously. After we placed our food order we were told 5 minutes later that the kitchen had just closed! It would open again in about an hour and only then could you order from the large menu. We gritted our teeth and accepted it and came back 60 minutes later. Now they say it will be at least half an hour before the kitchen opens! The service staff is not to blame for the situation, the kitchen apparently works according to its own clock. However, you are not allowed to move guests twice, at some point the goodwill will be used up.

I would like to introduce you to the Eifeler Hof today 🥰 It is a long-established restaurant with a rustic atmosphere, delicious food and friendly service 🙏🏼 The Heimbacher Piglet roll immediately caught my eye on the menu 🤩 "Crispy multigrain roll filled with minced pork steak, tomato slices, gherkin, red onion and herb quark 🍔 with thick fries 🍟 I really enjoyed the burger 😋 and I was able to eat it with my hand 😅 the fries were also really tasty 😋 all in all it was a great evening with good food, drinks and a treat for Bommel 🐕 We can wholeheartedly recommend the Eifeler Hof ❤️

We actually wanted to end our Easter vacation with a delicious meal. Unfortunately we were disappointed. We arrived about 10 minutes before the kitchen closed. Actually, they wanted to send us out again because the day had been so tough anyway, according to the explanation from the waitress. We were then allowed to stay and were given a place right at the checkout with a view of shelves that no one wanted to see. The atmosphere is very old. We ordered a wine spritzer, unfortunately it didn't taste like wine. The schnitzels were large but the breading around them was thicker than the meat itself, along with fries and croquettes. There was a small bowl of mushroom sauce which wasn't even enough for half of the meal. The mushrooms had probably thawed and were therefore limp and disgusting. Conclusion: Any snack bar is better than this restaurant. No recommendation!!!

It's a shame, we wanted to eat on Sunday afternoon March 10th, 2024, as warm food is served here all the time. We weren't served because there was a group of 1 who were just leaving. There were still plenty of tables and seats available. We won't be coming back, you don't want to make any money here.

Unfortunately, a very disappointing stay. We were served carelessly and the food wasn't really good. Cutlery and napkins were only available upon request. An additional sauce was only ordered after the meal was almost ready. No recommendation.

Delicious German food, friendly and fast service.

The food was really good. We were there twice. Brisket of oxen, fish, Schäufele...the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. Service was also very friendly. Ok, the beer tap could be changed. So you don't have to push/pour the beer back and forth. Still, it was tasty. It's a small defect. Would recommend it. We'll definitely be back. Let's see what it's like when the beer garden season opens and there's a lot more to do.

Home-style cuisine, friendly staff.

A typical German restaurant with local food and good value for money. For us, however, it's a tradition as we've been coming to this place for years and always eat here, so it's a little romantic bonus.

Wir waren während der Aktionswoche „Oktoberfest Wochen“ dort essen und waren begeistert. Sehr gute Qualität, lecker und bekömmlich zubereitet. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Het eten was heerlijk maar voor ons teveel, wij hadden het gerecht met z'n tweetjes kunnen delen dan was het nog voldoende geweest.

Oktoberfest weken: aparte kaart met specialiteiten uit Beieren. Reserveren gewenst. Als je wat op calorieën moet letten is de keuze wat beperkt. Daarentegen verstaan ze hier hun vak. Gezellige sfeer. Restaurant en Biergarten in Oktoberfestthema versierd. Er wordt bijpassende muziek gedraaid. Parkeren gemakkelijk bij Parkplatz über Rur. Je loopt er dan in 3 minuten heen.

De schnitzels erg zout, moet echt beter.

Nicht empfehlenswert für eine große Gruppe. Uns wurde keine Essenkarte angeboten, weil wir zu viele Personen sind. Sehr lange Wartezeiten auf das Essen und die Getränke. Das Ambiente ist schön.

Waren diese Woche Mittags dort essen. Leckere, frische, gut bürgerliche Küche. Haben draußen gesessen, was sehr gemütlich war, obwohl es sehr einfach gehalten ist. Die Portionen sind ordentlich und Preis/Leistung stimmt. Die Bedienung war freundlich auch wenn es vielleicht nicht bei jedem so ankommt. Wir waren mit allem rundum zufrieden und werden sehr gerne wieder kommen.

Echt een verrassing. Alles vers en zeer smakelijk. Serveerster sprak Nederlands. Knus en goed eten.

Hier hebben ze wel echte traditionele Duitse gerechten maar helaas niet in de zomer. Ik had gegoogled en gezin dat je daar goed kon eten. We kwamen met vijf hongerwolven aan en na een charme offensief (zonder reservering) en na 5 minuten konden wij toch op de allerlaatste tafel aanschuiven. Het is er erg druk, je moet wel een beetje geduld hebben met wachten op je eten maar het was dan ook 18:30. De lege eetzaal met de reserveringen van 19:00 uur waren om 18:59 vol. De Duitse “punktlichkeit” is echt geweldig en waardevol. Ik wou dat mijn klas met studenten ook één minuut voor aanvang zo vol zou zijn…… Na het eten kunt u een mooie wandeling maken langs de Rur, prachtig aangelegde paden en mooi uitzicht op de Burgt. Echt een aanrader!

Einfach klasse. Immer wieder. Hier stimmt Ambiente und Service. Und hier kocht ein Könner. So lecker und handwerklich kann Eifeler Landhaus Küche sein. Reservierung empfohlen, da stets gut besucht. Mühlengrüsse.

Nach einer langen Wanderung haben wir hier eine herzliche und freundliche Atmosphäre vorgefunden. Das Personal war außerordentlich nett und hat uns sofort das Gefühl gegeben, willkommen zu sein. Jedoch macht es sinn, vorher einen Tisch zu reservieren. Die Portionen waren sehr großzügig bemessen und das Schnitzel war besonders lecker und gut zubereitet. Es gab eine gute Auswahl an Gerichten auf der Speisekarte und die Preise waren angemessen. Insgesamt können wir das Restaurant Eifler Hof sehr empfehlen. Es war ein schönes Erlebnis und wir würden hier gerne wieder essen. Wer auf der Suche nach einem gemütlichen Restaurant mit gutem Essen und freundlichem Personal ist, sollte definitiv hier vorbeischauen.👍🏼 LG
