Since new owners have run it, the food has been almost inedible! All sauces taste the same, with glutamate and the taste has nothing to do with Chinese anymore. The spring rolls had been in the deep fryer for so long that they simply tasted like grease and the dough crumbled. I would have preferred to give 0 stars. Where are the previous owners please, it was so delicious!
Inhumane service!
The two of us decided to go out for dinner one evening. The restaurant was generally quiet. We waited at the counter to be assigned a seat, but no one seemed interested in us. Three employees behind the counter simply stared at us. We took the initiative and approached the counter, only to receive a rude response: "We're supposed to wait at the front." Afterward, someone finally felt attracted to us and assigned us a small table in the passage. When we asked to use one of the many free four-person tables, the argument was that it might be a placeholder for larger groups. Understandable – but not when only six tables were occupied at 9 p.m. There was obviously no rush.
Well, we sat down at the small table and waited over 10 minutes! Until a lady even agreed to bring us a menu. By this time, I was already so irritated by this lack of service that I told the waitress that we'd probably find another restaurant. She promptly took our menus away and said, "Well, if you open your mouth too wide, you'll have to wait extra long for service." She then turned around and disappeared. I didn't let this rudeness go unchallenged and tried to engage in dialogue. But even this approach only resulted in further arrogant behavior. I asked for the manager, who subsequently took care of the matter, but only until I announced that we wouldn't be leaving any money here today. From then on, his friendliness was gone.
Conclusion: We ended up in another restaurant on this large premises, which was packed to the brim.
Here, we were looked after attentively and professionally.
So why this place was empty at that time seems to be self-explanatory.
I won't be going there again, at least not in Gelsenkirchen.
Unfortunately, since the change of ownership, it has deteriorated significantly. Food cold or partially inedible. I used to love being there but now I'd rather go somewhere else, it's a shame
This restaurant deserves an absolutely bad review!
I ordered my food for pickup and it said I could pick up the order in 30 minutes. I was there in exactly 30 minutes. Afterwards I was told that it would still take a while and that I should please take a seat. After another 20 minutes of waiting, I was given a completely wrong order. I then asked the employees to please deliver the food to my home as I viewed this action as quite cheeky.
1:30 hour after ordering I called to ask where the food was. Then I received the answer, 'We didn't find your name on the address, pick up the order.'
I've never had an experience like that before and it was the last time at this restaurant.
The three of us were here for lunch on a Sunday.
I really liked it!! We had one of the lunch menus. The food was delicious, the service was attentive and friendly - absolutely perfect!
I'd love to come back.

Ich find das eine absolute frechheit das die zweigstelle erle am Gartmannshof auch schon anfing zu putzen und denn laden früher zu zu machen als angeeben ist laut googel bis 16 uhr geöffnet !!!

Were in Gelsenkirchen yesterday and got hungry. We wanted to take advantage of the evening buffet offered there for 4 people, but heard that it was no longer offered. (But it is still advertised throughout the building!) On the flimsy menu, many dishes were crossed out with Edding (steak menu, kebab dishes). We men first ordered a tea (according to the menu 1€!) while the ladies went shopping. After they returned, we decided to eat somewhere else thanks to the lack of a buffet and then had to hear that we had to pay 6€ for 2 glasses of tea, even though they are 1€ on the menu! So customer advertising works differently!
Ordered tuna pizza 3 times today and each one had just a hint of tuna on it. The price is cheap, but I'd rather pay more than get a burnt pizza that tastes burnt and feels like a magherita because there's hardly any toppings on it. Delivery was quick, that's the only thing that was good about the order
About a year ago it was good, but now there are more and more errors in pizza taxi orders. Then the wrong or missing one will be delivered free of charge, but that takes another hour!
By the way, I live about 3 km from the pizzeria, but the delivery took an hour. And in addition, the two pizzas were only lukewarm, the lasagne was still warm enough.
Summary: This was our last order.
