Delicious food. Even though it was busy, the staff was super friendly. Nice ambience.

All good, as usual from most L'Osteria. Only the service wasn't always that attentive, which was of course due to the rush.

It was supposed to be a nice evening that ended with an attempted fraud. I really hope L'Osteria hires decent waiters. The food comes before the drinks (where can you get something like that?), the waiting times for the drinks were utopian the whole evening. Because we were two women in our 60s rather than our 20s, the waiter preferred to hang around and flirt with these guests rather than serving us properly or relaying our dessert order to the kitchen and then claiming it was us didn't order dessert. But the highlight of the evening was that the waiter tried to sneak a two euro tip and, when we pointed out to him that two euros were missing, he slammed it on the table without saying a word. Such service ruins a good reputation and is something that no one wants to have if they want to have a nice meal!!!

They talked to us like they were bored. More importantly, I requested garlic oil with my pizza and it wasn't delivered. But they brought the oils to other customers throughout the evening. There was also poor service and lack of attention.

The pizza was delicious, unfortunately we weren't told that it could take an hour for the food to arrive. Maybe it was because of the number of hungry Rammstein visitors. Nevertheless, a note about the waiting time would have been appropriate.

We were basically stranded here before a concert in the Veltins Arena, we had time and an appetite. And even though it was packed inside and outside, we were still given a place on the terrace, which I found really very friendly. We didn't sit for long before our waitress came to the table and we were able to place an order straight away. This service was really the highlight 😄 Despite the obvious stress, she was courteous and friendly to all guests and radiated a really good mood. It's really rare to find service like this and I hope the superiors appreciate it. Her name is Sarah, as she told us. 👍👍👍 We ordered pizza, the dough and toppings were perfect, huge in size and tasty. The only downside to this location is that it's not in our city.

We had a gorgeous time right before a big concert in the nearby Veltins Arena. The receptionist had a table - despite of the busy situation - for us and Maria our waitress was friendly, managed extra wishes effortlessly. The food was good, the wine and grappa delicious. Well come back.

Nice staff, but overwhelmed on match days. Waited 40 minutes for two pizzas today. But they were delicious. The toilets are in a catastrophic condition.

Unfortunately I had to wait more than 20 minutes and no one wanted to come and take the order because we were sitting outside. When I asked a waiter with a mustache why no order had been taken from us, he told me it was because we were sitting outside and I should watch my tone! I was very quiet and calm and he still didn't like my tone after more than 20 minutes. Unfortunately we had to get up and go eat somewhere else. We are very disappointed with this branch in Gelsenkirchen, this was actually my second visit. On the first visit everything was fine, so I recommended the branch to my colleague and we drove to GE, but then such poor service, we are unfortunately very disappointed.

The waiters are completely overwhelmed and confused!!! We waited over an hour for the food. When you ask about the waiting time, you are just put off and lied to (“Pizza is already in the oven!”). Unfortunately, not even the drinks (two glasses of cola) could be brought to the table at the same time. We had to ask twice before the second coke came.

The pizza's are enormous, really we haven't seen such big pizzas in a long time. And the service was super quick. We were many and still had our food in under 15min all with a smile and kind waiters.

We had reserved a table for 8 people for brunch today for a birthday. However, when we arrived at 10am this morning, no one was there. A short time later, an employee came and told us that brunch would not be offered this Sunday, which we were very surprised about because we hadn't been informed. At first we couldn't be told why. We then went to the restaurant next door. The breakfast there was more than poor. On the way back we just wanted to ask why brunch wasn't offered. The management then kindly explained to us that brunch cannot be offered during the European Championships. She tried to reach us, but our cell phone number was missing. Since we wanted to celebrate a birthday, the employee offered to invite us to dinner so that at least lunch would be saved. We found the offer very accommodating, it was really wonderful and everyone really enjoyed the food. For me, making this offer on my own initiative, even though Losteria wasn't really to blame, is unbeatable in terms of customer friendliness! Thanks for saving the day! See you soon!!

Basically a very good restaurant, but... In three visits I received lukewarm noodles three times. The service and ambience, however, were very good and friendly. Mid-range prices, lots of parking spaces. We recommend the standard pizza, which is quite large.

Long waiting times+Wednesday was always pizza day, today for some reason it wasn't likely because of the Portugal-Georgia game as a loyal customer this should also be mentioned! Strangely enough, if you want to order the pizza online the price is 9.95!!!!

I've been sitting here for 20 minutes and no one wants to take the order. The one waiter with the beard didn't want to take care of us because we weren't part of his area. After two minutes he takes the order from the next table. Then the other waitress we spoke to runs past us. The answer was suddenly the system is defective. The waitress who came after 5 minutes was finally able to take the order. Very bad service. Have a lot of patience because my colleague says it's common here.

My pizza was burned ,the service is lacking i don't recommend!

Wir bekamen einen Tisch direkt an einer Tür, die dauernd geöffnet werden musste, um in den Außenbereich zu gelangen. Wir saßen daher permannt im Durchzug, da die Eingangstür auch permanent geöffnet war. Es war äußerst unangenehm. Die Servietten fielen dauernd auf den Boden und es war richtig kalt zum Teil. Ich habe eine Kellnerin auf das Problem hingewiesen, aber die lachte nur und tat nichts. Später wurde die Tür nach draußen permant aufgestellt. Als ich dann wieder etwas sagte, wurde mir erwidert, dass ein" besonderer " Tag sei. Die Rechnung von über 70,- sollten wir aber dann doch "ganz normal" bezahlen. Wir hatten uns auf ein entspanntes Essen gefreut und kamen uns vor, wie in einem Bahnhof. Kundenfreundlichkeit sieht anders aus.

There were six of us in your restaurant today. The food was very good. But the service was even better and Victoria served us, super nice, incredibly attentive. We felt very well looked after under their service.

We were there with a large group and everything was set up for us both in the restaurant and in the outdoor seating area. So we were able to spontaneously choose what we wanted! Very attentive! The food and drinks were quick and, as usual from L’Osteria, of great quality and very tasty! The staff was very attentive and friendly. The only negative was that there was a large flea market nearby. As a result, there was a lot of commotion in the parking lot and a background noise in the form of cars honking continuously on the surrounding streets. But of course L’Osteria can’t do anything about that 😉. Gladly again! 🙏🏻

Sarah has a high level of social communicative skills. She was very friendly and had a good feeling for her guests. I hope the company holds on to such employees. She led us through the evening wonderfully with esprit and prudence. Otherwise a nice location with good food.

We ordered our food, my husband wanted a pizza and I wanted pasta. After 30 minutes neither the drink nor the food came. Instead the waitress came and said there were no more pasta except for a pizza and there was no alternative :) We got up and went over to Café de Sol Our drink was on the table in 5 minutes. It's a shame we won't go there anymore

Sorry but we sat for 45 minutes and were ignored. The guests at the other tables waited over an hour for their food and then another hour until someone stopped by to pay. I'm really a regular customer at your chain, but here I prefer the McDonald's next door!

I went to L' Osteria today to buy a voucher. I became so amazing received by the restaurant manager. She prepared a box for me with little things for the voucher that I ordered online. Since the restaurant manager was so friendly, it didn't matter that the voucher could only be ordered online. She did it so well. I'll be back, by the way I've been there before and was well served. I felt very comfortable 👌

The food is always of excellent quality, for us L'Osteria is a guarantee of cleanliness, good food and an excellent atmosphere.
