The food itself is okay and the salad seems fresh. The hygiene leaves a lot to be desired. A completely smeared counter does not look uninviting.

In the center of Bad Münstereifel with a beautiful view of the Erft, you can stop off at the local Italian restaurant “Massimo”. Coming from the parking spaces at the train station or from the swimming pool from another direction, you can reach the restaurant within a few minutes on foot. My husband and I managed to get a table outside on a Saturday evening without a reservation. At this time (7:15 p.m.) all the tables inside were already fully booked, which speaks for the location ;) We had to wait a bit for the drinks at the beginning (~10 minutes), but this was due to the high number of guests and was completely acceptable. Our dishes (penne verdure and a salami pizza) were not only attractively prepared, but also tasted fresh and hearty. The menu is not overly crowded, but this suggests that the focus is not on quantity, but on quality. The service staff regularly (but not intrusively) inquired about our well-being, which for us as guests is part of good manners in the catering sector. Certainly this will not be our last visit! :)

Das Cafe ist zur Zeit geschlossen. Heino wohnt zwar nicht mehr im Gebäude und hat eigentlich nichts mehr mit dem Cafe zu tun. Es sind aber einige Erinnerungsstücke im Cafe.

I absolutely can't understand all the bad reviews here! The snack bar in the Eifelbad really surprised me in a positive way. Friendly staff, delicious food and fair prices – exactly what you want after a relaxing day at the beach. The fries were crispy, the currywurst was very seasoned, and the waiting time was completely fine. Anyone who complains here probably has too high expectations of a swimming pool snack bar. I'd love to come back!
