We wanted to sit outside and asked if they could open the parasol. They rudely refused and told us to go inside. We then moved on.

Restaurant with outdoor seating. The food was delicious. We had schnitzel with chanterelle mushrooms and fries. The portions were very generous. The service was friendly, and the food arrived quickly. We'd be happy to come back.

We've never had such a bad meal. The pasta sauce with two finely chopped chanterelles came from a packet, without any other ingredients. The two salads we had were also not worth recommending.

We were very disappointed with our visit to this restaurant. Upon entering, we were immediately struck by the unfriendly greeting from the staff, which dampened the mood from the very beginning. When the food was served, the taste was absolutely disappointing. For the prices charged here, we expected considerably more. Therefore, we certainly won't be returning.

We were here for the fourth anniversary of the flood disaster, as we are every year, and were completely satisfied with everything 😋. Very unfriendly service. We weren't allowed to stay because we only wanted a drink, even though there were still tables available. When we wanted to order fries so we could stay, we were told that fries were only served to children. Not recommended!

Extremely unfriendly service. If you just want a drink, you have to sit in the sunny spots, and you're not allowed in the shade, even though there's nothing going on. Because shady spots are places to eat. Adults aren't allowed to order a portion of fries. Really not recommended.

Today, my friends and I visited the beautiful Bad Münstereifel and stopped at the restaurant after a city tour. The ambiance is super nice, and the outdoor seating is great. Since all the tables were occupied, but we wanted to sit outside, we waited. The waitress (I guess the co-owner) was kind enough to keep a table free for us after the guests moved on. That was quite accommodating. The food arrives quite quickly, I have to say; it was well planned (at least on this day). Unfortunately, the service isn't very friendly. After your drinks are finished, you're not asked if you'd like another one, so you end up stuck for nothing. While you're still eating, the waitress asks you if the table can be cleared. This happened several times. Card payments are only accepted here for amounts over €20 (I can't believe that people still budget for something like that these days). If you combine payments to pay by card, you get yelled at. Unbelievable. All in all: the worst service I've experienced in a long time. I wouldn't recommend a visit to this restaurant.

If you like ready-made meals and are willing to pay a fair price for them, this is the place for you. Anyone who expects more—fresh, homemade food—is in the wrong place.

We visited Bad Münstereifel for the first time today and found the little town beautiful. We strolled leisurely through the pedestrian zone with our petite and pretty Ridgeback on a leash. Near the Piccolo restaurant, a waitress (we assume it was the owner) spitefully ordered my husband to leave with our dog – simply rude and an imposition. We experienced the complete opposite at the Printenhaus cafe – pure welcome!

Not recommended. The elderly lady who works there, or possibly owns it, should retire urgently. She yells at you, and you can tell she's completely overwhelmed, even though there weren't many customers. Potential guests are rudely chased away because she wants to keep tables free that, according to the other waitress, aren't reserved. The food was frozen and carelessly slapped onto the plate. But it was quick. We won't be back.

The experience was terrible. The service was very poor, and we were treated with complete disrespect. We were forced to order food – when we said we only wanted a drink, we were told we had to pay and leave, as we weren't allowed to sit there without food. I didn't like the staff's behavior at all, and I definitely can't recommend this place.

We had a lovely seat in the sun and received very friendly service. The salad that came with it was very good, as were the fries. The schnitzel was too dry, and the sauce sounded like it came from a mediocre chip shop, but it was okay.

We were pleasantly surprised. Food came very quickly, was tasty and inexpensive. Service was absolutely quick and attentive. Ambiance: clean, but narrow due to the small room and quite loud when full.

The restaurant felt homely, with friendly staff and surprisingly fast food preparation. The pricing is completely fair, considering it's location, we were even served complimentary salads. We entered as a family or 7, and all of us enjoyed the food, it was tasty and the portions were not small.

Regarding the other conditions, there wasn't even a thank you when paying, and they also complained loudly to each other. Prices are definitely too high for what is on offer. We were lucky and didn't need to eat in this establishment because we were able to watch the following scenes outside: An older couple - estimated to be around 80 - sat at a table outside and waited for acquaintances who wanted to do something in an adjacent shop. Yes, one could assume that they probably didn't want to eat anything. Suddenly the owner came to the table in an extremely rude tone and rudely asked the couple to vacate their seats. The older gentleman wanted to comply with this request straight away, but it was a bit physically difficult for him and it was obviously too slow for the innkeeper, which caused him to hit the back of the chair several times. An unparalleled outrage. It didn't take long before more guests came and sat down at the table, wanting to eat. The owner's wife came to the table with the following words: "To be clear, we are a dining restaurant, if you just want to have a drink, we have 14 cafés and only 6 restaurants in Bad Münstereifel, then please leave." The guests took a look at the menu, got up and left. I thought about whether I should applaud. In any case, we made a reservation for that evening in the "Massimo" restaurant right next door and were given an exemplary welcome and food. Thank God we were spared the piccolo.

Racist , mannerless people with no respect. we were seated on the table , just for them to say they will not serve us, stating with are closed for a break and very rude, just to notice minutes later that have accomodated other people and served them immediately.

As so many have already written... In the early afternoon we were rudely turned away from the table because we just wanted something to drink… In France, tables are set at lunchtime when they are reserved for dinner guests. A few smaller tables are left uncovered for guests who just want a drink.

Was waren wir enttäuscht, dass das Brauhaus geschlossen worden ist! Ich (weiblich) war daher mit meiner Schwester das erste Mal im Piccolo. Dieses Restaurant werden wir auf keinen Fall mehr aufsuchen, und zwar aus folgenden Gründen: Die ältere Kellnerin war so was von unfreundlich und hatte bestimmt nur die Dollarscheine im Kopf (wieder 2 Opfer eingefangen!) 1.) wegen Zahnproblemen habe ich mir Nudeln mit Hähnchenfilet und Rahmsoße bestellt. Die Nudeln waren aldente (Kühltekenware aus dem Supermarkt?) und die Rahmsoße unter den Nudeln bestand aus Wasser und weißem dünnen Etwas?! Das Hähnchenfilet war in Ordnung. Dazu 1 Flasche 0,2 l Orangensaft bestellt. 2.) meine Schwester bestellte sich ein Schnitzel mit Champignons, Pommes frites und Mayonaise. Dazu wurde ein Salat serviert. Getränke: 2 Gläser je 0,2 l Apfelschorle und 1 Glas 0,2 l Mineralwasser. Die Champignons machten den Eindruck von Champignons aus dem Glas. Und nun kommt es: die Rechnung meiner Schwester belief sich auf sage und schreibe 43,00 €. Das ist PURE ABZOCKE, zumal wir - da wir keinen Parkplatz in unmittelbarer Nähe fanden - für 3 Stunden auf einem Parkplatz außerhalb der Fußgängezone 6,00 € bezahlt haben. Gut, dass wir in keinem anderen Geschäft noch was gekauft haben! Nein, Bad Münstereifel wird uns nicht mehr sehen!

When we are in Münstereifel we always eat at Piccolo. And that has been the case for years.

Frozen chicken on the chicken pizza. But not a normal one, but the one from ALDI sprayed with Maggi. No enjoyment... The waiters were nice.

Very bad service. The owner had to tell us very disparagingly that we were retarded to think that we could pay for 2 drinks. She shamelessly called us rotten fish in the restaurant. Rarely so ashamed. Finally got pinned and walked away.

We ate here today at the Sunday shopping event. Only drinks and food could be ordered at the same time and you had to make a quick decision. For example, if you wanted a baked potato without meat or fish, that wasn't possible because it wasn't on the menu. People at the next table had to leave because they just wanted something to drink. The food was good but nothing special. In general we felt a bit rushed. Everything was ok but we wouldn't go there again.

We ate asparagus soup in this restaurant, followed by asparagus with ham, potatoes and hollandaise sauce. The soup was delicious and the asparagus was prepared perfectly. Cozy on the waterfront of Wehrterstrasse. Highly recommended!

Rarely have we been so disappointed by the quality and taste as in this restaurant. Manageable map without meaning or structure. The description of the dishes is also meaningless. Mushroom cream schnitzel is awesome. Ready-made sauce on a schnitzel with tendons mixed in and overcooked fries that ensure the dentist's income. The side salad consisting of a ready-made mixture was poured with convenience dressing (yoghurt). Loveless in all respects. Even the solid price is no consolation if the consideration is completely out of proportion. Pure tourist booth that only aims at quick processing. Never again!

Simply good food at a reasonable price. Had pepper schnitzel. Tasty sauce, crispy fries, fresh salad. And goulash really homemade. I was a bit skeptical as the reviews were very mixed. But the negative reviews mainly relate to the fact that guests were turned away who just wanted to have a drink, especially on the terrace in summer. It's certainly not the most clever way to deal with guests; after all, you can also earn money from drinks. In any case, you can't really say anything against the food and the prices. I would always come here again.

Wir kamen am ersten Tag zum Abendessen. Der Service der Frau ist ausgesprochen schlecht. Der Koch ist netter. Das Essen ist mittelmäßig/wenig. Als wir am nächsten Tag einfach nur etwas auf der Terrasse trinken wollten, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass wir verpflichtet seien, Essen zu bestellen.

I was looking forward to a paprika schnitzel and got a schnitzel with brown cream sauce on it, pepper slices from the jar. It wasn't tasty. Unfortunately, no one came to check whether everything was good and tasted good 😔 when I was finished eating, I had to wait a long time to be able to pay. Advice to the kitchen, it's better to put less on the menu and do it sensibly. The advice to the waitresses is to divide up the areas better so that everyone has an overview. Alles in allem okay. Aber auch nichts besonderes.

Absoluter Ranzladen!! Unser Tisch, welcher sich im Lokal befand, wurde vom Personaltisch, welcher sich vor uns außerhalb des Ladens befand, komplett vollgeraucht. Nachdem wir die Bedienung dort drauf aufmerksam gemacht haben, wurden wir nur blöd angemotzt. Der allgemeine Umgang vom Service, Leitung und Inhaber war unterste Schublade und das Essen eine traurige Erfahrung. Wir wurden in einer Tour angemotzt und positiver Gästeumgang war überhaupt nicht erkennbar. Jeder Wunsch wurde mit Augenrollen abgelehnt. NICHT ZU EMPFEHLEN!!

Das Essen ist sehr lecker und auch reichlich. Gute Bedienung. Ganz frisch nach der Flut renoviert. Hat nicht den Charme von früher. Dafür alles neu und besser aufgeteilt.

Baby (fles) voeden op het terras verboden (ondanks consumptie), zelf 150ml water geven was teveel gevraagd. Bazin scheldend door de zaak.

Gingen op terras zitten om met 5 volwassenen te drinken en om baby van 2 maanden oud te voeden. Werden door eigenaresse op asociale wijze benaderd dat wij er alleen konden eten. Toen wij opstonden vroeg ik of ik dan op zijn minst beetje water kon kopen om babyvoeding te maken werd ik op asociale wijze weggejaagd. Gastvrijheid kent de eigenaresse niet Schandalig hoe wij daar behandeld zijn.

Schlicht einfach aber dafür das Essen klasse

Ein typisches Touristenrestaurant. Das Essen war soweit OK, aber nichts, was mich aus den Socken gehauen hat. Der Hunger, wie der Durst waren gestillt, das Personal war freundlich, jedoch etwas zu forsch beim Abreumen. Im Ganzen war es durchschnittlich.

Das Essen ist gut. Besonders auch die Salate. Da es ein Restaurante ist sollte der Inhaber auf den Tischen deutlich machen das es nur Getränke gibt wenn auch Essen bestellt wird. Die Gäste die sich gesetzt haben aufzufordern wo anders hinzugeben wenn sie nur etwas trinken wollen ist nicht besonders höflich.

Das Essen ist Top...zum weiter empfehlen..Sie haben den besten Flammkuchen in Bad Münstereifel..

Das Essen war okay. Der Service zeichnet sich nicht unbedingt durch Herzlichkeit aus, ist aber okay. Aber extrem unangenehmer Geruch im ungemütlichen Restaurant. Leider keine Empfehlung.

Wir sind sehr freundlich und aufgeschlossen empfangen worden. Die Bedienung war äußerst aufmerksam (familienfreundlich). Das Essen war sehr lecker und wir mussten nicht lange warten. Top Preis-Leistung.Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ambiente, Höflichkeit, Preis Leistung, sehr zu empfehlen! Ein Salat, bei dem ich schon fast satt war, schön angerichtet, frisch! Mein Pfefferrahm schnitzel, zart, lecker mit reichlich Pommes! Auch das Pilzrahm Schnitzel meiner Freundin, zart mit lecker Soße und keine Pilze aus der Dose! Ein erneuter Besuch, immer wieder gerne!
