Pizzeria Ristorante Massimo in Bad Münstereifel

We were only in Bad Münstereifel for one night. Luckily we got a table. The wine and food were just very good, as was the service. We can only recommend Massimo, a really good Italian restaurant.

**An absolute insider tip!** This restaurant is just amazing! As soon as we entered, we were greeted incredibly warmly by the waitress - you immediately felt welcome and in good hands. The food was more than just good, it was simply fantastic! Fresh, high quality and on point in terms of taste. Anyone who says the food isn't fresh definitely can't be right - you can even hear the meat being freshly pounded in the next room! Here we cook with passion and the utmost care. The price is also absolutely fair - the price-performance ratio is 100% right. We'll definitely be back! Thank you for this perfect lunch!

So I can't understand the negative reviews at all I reserved a table for 2 people by phone. Both the reception in the restaurant and “our” service were very friendly As a small negative point, you can perhaps mention that the tables in the outside area are very narrow. But if you are communicative, that can also be an advantage. To eat. The reception in the restaurant was very friendly and we had an extremely nice waitress last night who was clearly enjoying her work. The food we ordered was good and tasty, as was the Pinot. It's a shame that our order for a zabaglione arrived too late (8:10 p.m.) for the kitchen.

The quality of the food is okay but not homemade. The staff are very nice and there is a nice atmosphere by the river in the evenings too. The drinks are quite expensive at €4/0.2l. All in all an okay experience. But wouldn't necessarily come again

The pizza was great, big and tasty, the tiramisu without alcohol (!) was truly a dream and the owner was extremely service-oriented and friendly.

On a beautiful, sunny Saturday. There were three of us and we ordered pizza three times. But it was only served for one of us and without us notifying or apologizing, the remaining pizzas would only be ready after the first pizza had been eaten. Never again!

We were there on a Saturday around 3:30 p.m., enjoying the first rays of sunshine this year with a nice Kölsch! First of all, we got a table straight away! What I thought was a shame, you were given the menu but unfortunately the staff didn't tell you that there was no more pizza! This means we chose a pizza and wanted to order it and only then was we told that the pizza was out. You might have to pass this on to the customer right from the start! Now that that was clarified, we decided to eat pasta and there wasn't much left over. The taste was ok! But definitely too small a portion for the price! Whether I would recommend it purely from the food: No! To enjoy the sun's rays and drink a cool Kölsch: Yes

After our visit to the city outlet, we ended up here today by chance. We received a very friendly welcome in a cozy, modern atmosphere. We were very positively surprised and we were served a great, very tasty meal. Bruscheta, tagliatelle in Gorgonzola sauce with rocket and beef strips, scallopine saltimbocca, tiramisu - were simply delicious 😋. Thanks for that. When we're around we become repeat offenders.

Successful reopening. Great antipasti massimo with delicious vitello tonnato. Beautiful grilled calamari (calamari alla griglia) with Mediterranean vegetables. The pizza is perfect: thin base and high-quality ingredients. Massimo is worth a visit.

I was in Bad Münstereifel with my cousin for 3 days and unfortunately we only ate twice at Ristorante Massimo because one day was closed for a well-deserved rest day. The food, pasta, salad, pizza bread, everything was super tasty and very fresh! The service, the entire team was absolutely top, friendly and attentive!!! I can't understand the bad reviews because everything really suited us perfectly!! We felt very comfortable, the sympathy and interpersonal relationships between the staff, the boss and the boss were immediately noticeable!!! In complete contrast to some other restaurants!! Ristorante Massimo is really first class and if it were possible, we would have taken the entire Ristorante with us to our hometown straight away!!! If we are in Bad Münstereifel again we will definitely eat there again!!

I spent several days in Bad Münstereifel and ate at Ristorante Massimo twice - and for good reason. The food is excellent, very fresh and very tasty. The zabaglione is a dream and the cappucino is what a good cappucino should be. The service is super warm, the boss and the entire team are very empathetic and attentive. Accordingly, I cannot understand the bad reviews. I take my hat off to all the restaurateurs who had to rebuild and work for everything in the city center after the flood disaster two years ago, including the quality that they want to ensure. Ristorante Massimo has succeeded.

Essen schmeckte nicht wirklich. Das Gemüse bei den beiden Nudelgerichten ( Pasta mit Gemüse und Brokkoli Pasta Auflauf) schmeckte nach TK-Ware. Die Tomatensoße war wie aus der Tube und das Essen schmeckte ungewürzt. Obwohl uns gesagt wurde das frisch gekocht wird! Es schmeckte alles nicht frisch! Nun aber das Schlimmste: wir haben das vegetarische Gerichte mit den Gnocchi bestellt von der Tageskarte. Uns wurde versichert, dass dort KEIN Käse etc. im Gericht ist (ich bin Laktoseintolerant!!) Als ich in den ersten Gnocchi gebissen habe war dort eine Füllung drin, die sehr nach Käse schmeckte. Nach Nachfrage beim Koch stellte sich heraus, dass die Gnocchi mit Gorgonzola Käse gefüllt sind. (Was ich als Allergiker definitiv nicht essen darf, mir geht es dann schlecht!!) Soviel zum frisch kochen. Schlimm wenn noch nicht mal der Koch weiß, dass seine TK-Gnocchi-Ware mit Käse gefüllt ist und es einem serviert obwohl man auf Allergien hingewiesen hat! Es kam keine Entschuldigung vom Personal!

Wir sind sehr freundlich bedient worden und haben sehr leckere Pizza gegessen.

Pizzabrot war super, der Latte leider nur Viertel Latte ,Rest Schaum.Als ich es anmerkte, kam der Inhaber, erklärte, dass das eine ital.Latte sei. Ich sagte , dass zu Hause bei meinem Italiener die Latte dreiviertel voll wäre und der Rest Schaum. Er bot mir an, einen neuen mit mehr Milch zuzubereiten, was mich freute. Als dieser serviert wurde, war er zwar dreiviertel voll, aber das Glas lauwarm bzw beim Trinken kalt. Ich habe es angemerkt, die Hälfte stehenlassen und bezahlt. Das nächste Mal werde ich dort trotz leckerer Pizza nicht speisen, seltsam fand ich auch, dass Leuten die nur was trinken wollten draussen, gesagt wurde, dass man das nicht mache ....finde ich schon krass.

Meine schlechteste Pizza aller Zeiten. Schade.

Waren heute das erste und letzte Mal dort. 1. Salat welk,Gurken eingetroffen,Tomaten weich und nicht bißfest.Salatsauce viel zu viel Essig. 2.Fleisch nicht gesalzen ,das überbacken Fleisch hätte mehr bräune gebraucht. 3. Die Soße mehr flüssig(viel zu dünn) Pommes schwammen in der Soße mit. Mir ist aufgefallen das in dem Lokal mit zweierlei Maß gemessen wird, auf der einen Seite Getränke mit Verzehr, an einem anderen Tisch das komplette Gegenteil die durften trinken ohne zu essen.

Das Restaurant mit seiner Lage mit Blick auf Burg Münstereifel, hätte Potential, wäre da nicht eine unmotivierte wenn nicht gar unfreundliche Bedienung und ein Essen mit bescheidener Qualität. Wir kommen nicht wieder und können das Massimo leider nicht empfehlen. Schade

Licht und Schatten. Beilagensalat war nix, okay, kann man drüber hinwegsehen. Pizza meines Freundes war gut. Ich hatte Lachs mit Basilikumpesto laut Karte. Der Teller kommt, es liegen sehr wenig Pommes auf dem Teller, Lachs auf den Punkt. Das "Pesto" ist eine Sahnesoße mit Basilikum, OK, passt zu Lachs. Leider ungenießbar, pure Salzsoße, dabei liebe ich es salzig, aber auch meine Begleiter sagen, nicht essbar. So geht der Teller leider in die Küche zurück, ist mir noch nie passiert. Gericht kommt neu. Jetzt ist der Lachs innen roh, Chef entschuldigt sich erneut und geht in die Küche und macht das Gericht selbst. Der Arme. Beim 3. Versuch passt alles, diesmal auch dreifache Portion Pommes. Soße immer noch sehr salzig, aber lecker. Verrückter Besuch. Für 19:00 Uhr an einem Freitag ist nahezu jeder Tisch reserviert, vilt war einfach zu viel los. Aber Lachs für 21€ mit paar Pommes und schlechtem Salat, ich weiß ja nicht. Ambiente und Service war ansonsten super.

Zu Besuch im Ort wollten wir nur etwas trinken. Hier nicht möglich da nur in Verbindung mit Essen. Leider wenig freundlicher Chef der lautstark auf Italienisch seine Mitarbeiter kommandiert. Der nette Kellner hat uns zum Trotz vom Chef dennoch lediglich Getränke serviert. Während unserem Besuch wurden jedoch mehrere Gäste weg geschickt die nichts essen wollten . Tische waren mehr als genug frei um gemütlich zu sitzen. Schade das man so mit Gästen umgeht :-( 2 Sterne nur weil der Kellner sich über seinen Chef hinweg gesetzt hat ;-)

Wir hatten 2 mal Lachs mit Spargel u 2 mal Scalopina. Das Essen war lecker. Die beiden Spargelgerichte waren mengenmäßig sehr bescheiden. 3 kurze Stangen Spargel . Eine etwas dickere 2 dünne Stangen. Der Lachs war auch nicht besonders groß. Und das für ca. 24 Euro. Wie sonst beim Italiener üblich wurde auch vor dem Essen kein Brot gereicht. Schade wir sind von den Spargelgerichten nicht satt geworden.

The best pizza in town! Went there with the team during a business trip and can only recommend! On top, Carlo and Gianmaria really made us feel like home! I will definitely come back in the future in case I pass by

Wir haben 2 Salate gegessen. Geschmacklich okay. Bei einem Salat fehlte das laut Speisekarte zugesagte Ei. Das Brot zum Salat war sehr trocken und keineswegs frisch. Preis für die Salate eher günstig, für Getränke im oberen Bereich. Am Nachbartisch beschwerte sich ein Junge bei seinen Eltern heftig, weil der Boden seiner Pizza so schwarz war, dass er sie nicht essen wollte.

Wir sind mit 11 Personen spontan um 21 Uhr zum Essen gekommen. Spontan wurden Tische zusammengeschoben und über die Öffnungszeiten mit super Service und hervorragendem Essen versorgt. Hier gibt es mindestens 10 Sterne. Alles war über die Maßen hervorragend, Service, Speisen, Preise, Ambiente. Vielen Dank dafür.
