Gaststätte Werther Stübchen in Bad Münstereifel

We've been going there for years when hiking with our dog in and around Bad Münstereifel. However, dogs are no longer allowed, not even on the outdoor terrace! Therefore, we will avoid this restaurant from now on.

I wasn't there as a hotel guest. I had booked a table in the restaurant for the evening, the food was incredibly delicious, and the price-performance ratio was absolutely excellent. The service was also very friendly, and we even had a nice chat. The atmosphere was cozy. It's centrally located in the pedestrian zone and also has outdoor seating.

A very kind innkeeper with a heart of gold. We were her guests today. The food arrived quickly, was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy. We received such a warm welcome, which isn't always a given these days. We'll be back soon, but we'll book in advance to make sure we get a table. Many thanks to Mrs. Welter and the excellent chef. A real old-fashioned German restaurant with classic dishes.

I ordered a currywurst special. After a short wait, I was given fries with ketchup and mayo. I politely pointed out to the server that this wasn't what I had ordered. The response was, "Yes, it is," and that the server had been there for 15 years and spoke German. After a lengthy discussion and very unfriendly and unprofessional behavior from the server, I finally received the correct order. It wasn't tasty.
