I have always enjoyed coming for breakfast, but unfortunately my last experience was extremely disappointing. The organization didn't work at all: there was a long queue to the outside and the buffet wasn't refilled in a timely manner, which led to considerable waiting times as plates were missing and the kitchen obviously couldn't keep up.
We had to wait half an hour for drinks.
We were also treated unkindly when we reasonably asked for a solution. If you are organizing an event of this type, you should get this under control or at least plan for fewer guests. To make matters worse, we were then informed that breakfast only lasts until 11:30 a.m. - even though we had waited extra to get through the line.
All in all, it was a very unpleasant experience, especially on Mother's Day. I hope that more attention will be paid to the organization and service in the future. For my part, I won't be entering the restaurant again anytime soon.
Unfortunately, in my opinion, things have gotten worse in recent years. The pizzas still taste good, but unfortunately the service leaves a lot to be desired. I had a piece of plastic in my salad (which can really happen). Unfortunately, I wasn't just brought a new one (as you would normally see in other restaurants) but was told: "They were almost finished anyway" and that they wouldn't make a new one, but at most a small bowl. I was really speechless... We also had to wait a long time for someone to come to the table to ask if we wanted something else to drink. At the end of the evening my second drink (a small cola) was taken over because of the plastic piece, but the entire situation was still really not nice that evening.
This is the best Pizza and Pasta Restaurant in Vechta
The staff are fantastic and the atmosphere is the best again in Vechta, coming from Sydney Australia where we also have a large Italian community.
I can’t express enough how fantastic their pizza are the dough is to die for especially the margarita traditionally Italian pizza.
And next door the best hotel for accommodation at Melchers
They also serve a large range of pasta dishes.
I highly recommend you swing past..
And do try their extensive range off cocktails 🍹
Answer to the cafeteria's answer: Of course there were price increases of 80%. Example “Large fries”: Previously €1, mayo/ketchup included. Today €1.5 + €0.3 for mayo/ketchup! So from €1 to €1.80. 80% price increase!

Really bad shop. Price increases of sometimes 80% for some dishes from one semester to the next! That's unbelievable!
The working lady at the window is, unfortunately, one of the worst employees. She only went outside to tell me I couldn't stop there and threatened to call the police, even though I had the right to stop there and there was no traffic sign prohibiting me from stopping. She held the car door open for me and wouldn't close it again, even though I politely asked her not to. The lady ignored all my words and entered the store.
I ordered a tonno pizza with mushrooms and ham. I had to hunt for tuna, and mushrooms too. The ham tasted really old, the base was rubbery, and the cheese on top was completely dry. It was the worst pizza I've ever had. The organic waste bin was happy.
