Unfortunately Dyars was closed yesterday and I decided to shop here. The French fries were old, fried in burnt oil and smelled for a long time. The weight of my order was far less than other listings I had purchased. NO LONGER ......
The staff is quite okay, but there are real bones in my kebab and a hair in my buddy's that's why it's not so recommended. I'd rather eat next door at Euro Döner, it's much better!!!!!
Went here spontaneously in the evening. Staff was friendly and the food was prepared quickly and tasty. Since we were the only ones there late at night, it was very quiet and we were served quickly. Would love to come back.
We ate very well and plentifully here. Excellent fried potatoes and steak fried to a perfect medium rare.
Although we were only able to get space outside for a short time, it was bearable with the heaters.
We'd love to come back.
Beautiful memories of my youth...
I have been a big fan of Asian cuisine since I first ate Chinese in the 1980s. The Jade Garden restaurant takes me back to that time in the most pleasant way. Everything you would expect from a “Chinese restaurant” can be found in the decor and on the menu and that’s a good thing. Beforehand there is a plum schnapps and prawn chips and the food is served on small warming plates. The menu offers all the delicious dishes prepared in a variety of ways. The “roasted chicken” deserves special mention, as this type of preparation can hardly be found anywhere else and it is highly recommended. The traditional “Peking duck” is even served here! The prices still feel like they were in the 1980s, so you can eat there several times a month.
The restaurant is beautifully designed and the service is friendly.
Unfortunately the food didn't correspond to the price. Two people for 60€, you can expect something, but a paella for 20€ and it tastes like Frosta from the refrigerated counter, that's not possible. A trip to the land of paella would be appropriate.
Much recommended and praised, but in parts sobering. The manager is friendly and helpful when it comes to regular guests. Apparently when you come for the first time you feel like a student in the gym getting an enema from the janitor... Anyway, the food is okay but not great quality either. It's also a shame: they promise gluten-free pizza, but it was already sold out shortly after 6... Or you just didn't feel like it. Overall, the price/performance ratio doesn't really fit. You can find more appealing alternatives.
Staff could have checked on us every now and then, if at all, to see if we wanted to order anything else, etc. Then we lost the desire to wait. We were happy that we paid on time. The greeting began with “You can sit wherever you want.” Seems a little stressful and not very professional. But good. The location looked pretty nice. We sat outside. The only thing that bothered me was the spider webs on the fence.
I liked my cherry juice but it would look much nicer with a straw for the price.
My mother really liked the cake.
The breakfast buffet is simply great! It's very rich, with freshly baked rolls, beautifully prepared, all types of coffee included, so you can find everything your heart desires there. The selection is simply great. The staff is very friendly and attentive, which is no longer a given these days. The menu is also appealing and the food is very tasty, as are the cocktails!
Keep it up, we'll be happy to come back!!
LG Frauke
