Very pleasant atmosphere in a beautiful environment with super friendly service. Drinks are also very tasty, but unfortunately the beer ran out. Still tastes good.
We went there for the schnitzel buffet, the selection was large and we ate very tasty food there. The staff is very friendly. We would love to come back again.
So, for a small pizza, an extra egg costs €1 and a medium pizza costs €1.80. I open the pizza and there is 1 single fried egg on it. For 1.80€????????? As far as I know, 1 egg doesn't cost more than €0.60, so why do I pay €1.80 for ONE egg and, for a small pizza, €1 for probably ONE egg.
Otherwise the food was quite good.
We had dinner here for Christmas evening with several people.
Until 1930 it was empty, only about 10 people in the restaurant.
The menu is very thin, specializing in pizza, but I was missing a children's dish or smaller portions in general.
Fries were ok, well seasoned.
The menu only has the option to order a large pizza, which was far too large a portion for us.
The pizza lacked pizzazz and felt seasoned too lightly.
There was only lasagne pasta.
Requests for changes will not be accepted, as it says in the last sentence on the card.
For me a total zero number!!
In general, with 2 people on staff, it seemed like it was in emergency mode, which was noticeable because we would have liked to order something to drink, but the service wasn't always visible.
Staff friendly, but there were sometimes communication problems or small misunderstandings.
Toilet clean and visually newly renovated.
We were here several times years ago, but it can no longer be compared.
There are very few parking spaces directly on site
Restaurant.
Unfortunately a bit disappointed, it's uncertain whether we'll come back here again.
Ordered an Italian lunch brunch for our company's employees today at 11:30 a.m., everything was delivered shortly after 1 p.m. (well over 70 items) and everything was of the best quality. Employees were thrilled. Thank you very much for this and special thanks to the delivery driver.
Four of us were there at the best time to eat, i.e. lunchtime. It was well attended, the employee was alone in the restaurant. Still good service at the table! The food from the lunch menu was really great. Good and perfectly seasoned, the pizza bread served with it was fresh and very well baked. Everyone enjoyed it very much... Compliments to the chef😀
Had menu #80.
Gyros was tender and crispy as it should be. Fries are golden yellow with a bite without being too firm. The garlic herbs could have had more garlic. Salad was colorful, not just coleslaw.
Service was very friendly, the ouzo was also offered.
Conclusion: I would like to come back.
Visiting from Cologne, in Hann Münden. Just ordered food. Super tasty. Hawaii schnitzel arrived hot and tasty with a super fresh salad.
Thank you very much. ☺️☺️
I never expect much from branches of this chain.
However, it should be possible to hand out the right burgers. Unfortunately, it wasn't until I got to the hotel that I noticed that there was Chrispy Chicken in the package instead of the M. Right packaging, wrong burger.
By the way, when put together correctly it also looks different, the two Chrispy Chickens that I had instead of an M and a Chrispy Chicken, looked more like they were thrown together.
We have rarely eaten as badly as we did in the Sexton's House. We also cannot explain how such an influx occurs in summer (tables and benches outside).
After we had the drinks, there was no demand, small or large, we were able to order our food.
The food was on the table after five minutes. The only thing that was fresh was the french fries from the deep fryer because we could hear them going in there.
The schnitzel was a ready-made schnitzel and was probably put in the deep fryer right away. It was still very greasy on the outside. My meal, herring with boiled potatoes and parsley,
consisted of two parts of herring with a thick quark on top with a few pieces of apple and gherkin and onion. So the matjes wasn't in a cream sauce. The boiled potatoes were most likely heated in the microwave; a fine, firm skin had already formed. And the parsley was dried from a jar.
Actually, I'm not a food complainer, but the whole thing for €38.40 isn't worth the money. This meal was bad.
We always thought the Sexton House in Hann. Münden is something very special. But no. It has the feel of a snack bar.
We won't come back, once and never again.
