So kebab is really good, the portion is also generous, and the price-performance ratio is also good.
The ambience is good, it's just at the main train station. But always well attended.
Apparently they also work as ghost kitchens for other chains, which seems to be too much for them. Stated delivery time 20-30 minutes, tried to call after 1 1/2 hours, pushed away, waited another 30 minutes, pushed away or left the bell ringing, contacted via, they can't reach the restaurant either, canceled, what a shame.
Speechless, very sad, incredibly disappointed, I give this bad rating for an extremely bad meal. On the occasion of my father's 90th birthday, we stayed in the so-called "Genusshafen" this evening. Only the view of the sea was a pleasure; We, 9 guests, agreed that the food was a complete disgrace both in terms of taste and preparation (sometimes burnt and lukewarm, overcooked vegetables, etc.). The fish soup was a complete mess with scattered ingredients, the vegetables from the main course were overcooked and, like the entire meal, barely seasoned and lukewarm, sometimes appearing to have been warmed up. The dessert, a dollop of cheesecake, wasn't convincing at all either.
When we got home, we enjoyed the leftover guest slices. I'm really still frustrated, what an anti-pleasure experience, phew... Oh and the whole thing at a price of well over 600 euros.
To be fair, I have to say that in the end we would have done a little better with the buffet meal. I can only advise against celebrating a big birthday etc. in the locality.

So etwas habe ich wirklich selten erlebt. Bis die Bedienung sich bemüht uns zu bedienen bzw. uns zu bemerken ist eine gefühlte Ewigkeit vergangen. Und das obwohl so gut wie nichts los war.
Die Speisen waren dann wieder erwarten sehr gut.
Aber das Grand Café ist nicht mehr „Grand“ sondern eigentlich sehr Renovierungsbedürftig.

So far everything is always great and has been for over 2 years. I don't understand the bad reviews.
And to the kebab whiner below. I don't know of any delivery service that delivers the kebab warm. The salad is cold...
But hey, a tip if you want to get/order a kebab and munch on it at home. Then put it in the hot air fryer or the oven first...
Hello, I wanted to have food delivered to me but unfortunately I had to wait 3 hours for my special meal on a normal evening, so it was too late for my little ones and they had to leave. After a long wait and no call, they suddenly rioted at the door.
