They still cook for real. All hell breaks loose on Saturday evening. Then you just have to wait a little. But it's worth it. Quality is excellent. I haven't eaten such good quality food in a long time. Service friendly and always on the ball.

Warm service. So much charm...also on the plate. Great value for money. No fancy, just a feeling of home. What more could you want? From the side salad to the pizza to the lamb... Really delicious

Were sent away, no reservation, no space

A small village pub in the middle of salt flats hides a very good pizzaria!! The pizza is well topped with fresh vegetables and delicious cheese that pulls nice strings while eating. I ate this pizza with my hands because it tastes even better that way!! For dessert we had pistachio tartufo!!!

Been there several times and brought a larger group to the restaurant this time. Regretted already when ordering cocktails. Waitress was short tempered and brought wrong drinks. Champagne was out after 2 glasses. Food was good but overpriced, especially the Dover sole. My wine was off, but they insisted my taste buds were the reason, even though 3 of my friends had a sip. The restaurant was busy and we all felt as if we were not very welcome.

The first time yesterday in “Leib und Seele” in Griesheim. The food, cooked cheese schnitzel with fried potatoes, came quickly and was very tasty. However, a very large portion. Dessert, vanilla ice cream with hot raspberries, wasn't that good. The ice was already crystallizing. The service was very friendly and always available quickly despite the busy restaurant. The ambience is a bit dignified, I liked it. Unfortunately the restaurant has been closed since June 1st, 2024.

That was nice! Cozy, loving, delicious - we were warmly looked after here. The service and boss are attentive and very friendly. It's nice to sit inside and outside, in niches or several small rooms. The food was delicious, with a menu and daily menu offering a pleasant selection. I can't say much about the wine - but the drinks menu is very extensive. In short, a wonderful place for a trip, to get out of the city - and to come back again and again. Even in 2025, I can still confirm every word and regularly recommend the cinnamon cork.

Unfortunately it's always closed even though it says open. I've experienced it twice.

We were in Bad Hersfeld one evening a week and were in the mood for sushi. As soon as we came in, the waitress/cook groaned that she was alone today and made it clear to us that we were rather unwelcome. However, we should sit down... Well, after looking at the menu (while the lady was joking around with the only guest who was almost finished eating) we decided to go eat somewhere else. The menu wasn't particularly varied and we weren't welcome anyway. As I said, during our 20 minute stay neither the phone rang nor did other customers come into the restaurant 🤷🏼
